This idiot ( I use idiot cause Im on the forum) keeps calling on an almost daily basis...is there a way to stop him from doing this.???:mad:
The funniest part is : I never answer, cause I know the number and the last time I did answer to tell him what I really think about him ( I was goin to tell him ( MY WAY), I found out that its a recording.
If I call back the # he calls from, no answer...so how do I go about?
thanks

I regularly get emails from him. Thank god he hasn't started phoning!

Isn't there a way to block incoming calls from a specified number?

In Western Canada, Telus has an available feature named 'Call Screen':

Prevent unwanted callers from reaching you

Call Screen intercepts calls from up to 12 pre-selected numbers and routes the caller to a recording that says: "The party you are trying to reach is not accepting calls at this time." Your phone will not ring, and the screened caller will not be able to leave a message.

You can even add Private Callers to your Call Screen list by selecting the option to reject the last calling party.

Perhaps your telephone company has something similar?

@Roanan

I dont know but I will ask about that to my phone company.
Thanks again for the input.:thumbsup:

If this is for a landline, I'm pretty sure that if you call your telephone company and tell them that someone keeps calling you after you told them not to (harassment), they might be able to block the number for you. Be sure to include the fact that the people calling you are using an autodialer and a recorded message.

If it's a cell # we're talking about, check into seeing what it'd take to setup parental controls on your account. With parental controls, you can block a set amount of numbers. I used to go through Verizon, and it was a mere $5 per month to have this in place. Through them, you can block up to 10 numbers at a time and add/delete them at any time. :)

@kakata....

I was getting calls several times a week 2 years ago and sent a couple pointed emails (demanding that the calls stop) to support@[every virtual casino], manager@[every virtual casino], and webmaster@[every virtual casino]. Within 2 weeks or so the calls stopped.

Buddy,

You are complaining because this idiot is not a lady. You would be singing her praises and actually arranging a meeting with her if this were so.:p

Could you list which casino he is calling for? Thanks

I keep getting calls from him about VIP Lounge and Cool Cat Casino.

I had the same problem back before I knew not to mess with those casinos. They were calling me every day. I stopped them from calling by going to the casino and live chat and asked them to close all of my accounts. They closed them and no more calls.

Better yet - record it and post it here :p

It`s Prism Casino!

I often receive emails from Chris De Angelo and it`s commercial for Prism.

Dear xxx xxxx,

COME TO PRISM CASINO AND BOOST YOUR FORTUNE!

Email the casino and tell them you have a new number. Rent a PREMIUM RATE number off the internet, and give this to them as your new number. Put a message on it to ensure they are on the line for as long as possible. Dump this to a non-ringing phone so you don't even get disturbed. Collect your money each month:D

They may figure this out eventually, but you will make more money from them as you ever could as a player:p

Some modern handsets have the ability to use different ringtones for different incoming numbers, you could allocate Chris's calls to a SILENT ringtone so you are never disturbed.

Or get a dummy VOIP number and have all calls forwarded
to the US dept. of homeland security. Now that would be funny.

Naw, just have the calls forwarded to Steve Beshear's office.

You can find his # here: Link Removed ( Old/Invalid)

:D

Link Removed ( Old/Invalid)

:rolleyes:

Yep. But he always leaves a message so I have to listen a little to be able to cancel it, otherwise in few days i might not get other messages cause its full of his.
