I beg to differ buddies. China is in many ways more capitalist than the capitalist countries themselves. Besides, us Chinese are just like people of other nationalities. We should bury the hatchet.

And i agree Chu:thumbsup: you are one of my best buds on this forum and to use the phrase" I wouldnt trade you for all the tea in China" comes to mind:D...........laurie

Yep, got the $10 from sloto and cashing out $50. Vegas Regal probs didnt know Hong Kong is part of China. Ya listening Nicolas?:D

I heard you loud and clear :D

You got a $50 Free Chip waiting for you in your account. :notworthy Sorry about the Hong Kong thing. I'm kinda allergic to political issues, so I'm not always as up to date as I should be.

Kind Regards,
Nicolas Johnson

Nothing happy about China, sorry.

Geez TOC was that really necessary???

Every country has their own dark elements including yours, so keep your politics out of what was just a friendly post about the Chinese National Day.

Heather wasnt saying anything about how happy China is, or anything about China in fact, she was just wishing Chu and others the best for their special day...in other words, she was being nice - you should try it some time.

What are you people talking about? I responded to Heatherad and her BIG HAPPY CHINA DAY banner and nothing more. Chu is in Asia somewhere and I didn't say anything towards him unless in fact he's in China. If he is even his own people have a problem with the government, maybe not Chu. Old / Expired Link Sorry the rest of you don't like my post but stop trying to be the forum MOB when you really don't know what the * you're talking about. Jas2587, if you think the US beats their citizens, well I feel sorry for you. Feel free to post the links of all the goverment beating in Florida. Nifty, what are you talking about and why? I know we have had differences before in the forums but come on man make a point! Look, all I did was state my opinion to Heatherad and her BANNER looking post about HAPPY CHINA DAY. BACK OFF.

I beg to differ. First off there are members from China on this site. No need to be disrespectful. How does recognizing the day on a gambling forum with a thread about bonuses relate to what you inserted? Every nationality should have the right to be honored on their special day.

How would you like if someone said nothing happy about Derailing Rude Affiliate Day Sorry?

Thanks for the huge bailout China.

Oh another Meister MOB member. I haven't disrespected anyone personally, only me disagreeing with the China government. OK how about this, if anyone out there lives in China and loves it please let me know why my post is so wrong. One more question, so if every country should have the right to honor their special day SLOTHEADLIZAD then do you feel 911 should be celebrated? Ya right man!:barf:

TOC,

I live in Hong Kong but am proud to be Chinese just as a lot of people who are proud to be citizens of their own country. I always see proud faces when winners in the Olympic Games stare at their national flags and their anthems are broadcast. I could argue you with all day along the lines of US police beating their own citizens or such but I do not think the majority of the US people condone these acts. Many Governments do wrong things in the eyes of even their own people but everyone, regardless of nationality or race should be treated with equal respect. I have great respect for America because from my history this is the land of democracy and freedom and the world could be a worse place if not for the righteouness of this country.

The people who grace this forum come from a multitude of countries and have one common interest - gambling. Let's not mar it by politics. At the end of the day we could all be pointing fingers at each other for the misdeeds of other Governments that are totally unrelated to the population at large. Continue to invest time in our favorite hobby and not spoil the fun.

You made my point for me - what you posted has NOTHING AT ALL to do with the thread you were just pushing your political views.

One more question, so if every country should have the right to honor their special day SLOTHEADLIZAD then do you feel 911 should be celebrated?

You should be ashamed of what you just wrote - using the death of thousands of people to get some mileage on a gambling forum - you dont have a clue TOC....

....and THEN you go and include YET ANOTHER link to something political about China. If you want to go posting that stuff go to a political forum - not the 'Online Casinos' section of a gambling board.

Once again Chu I've never disrespected you, just don't agree with your government. Since I'm sure you're being watched, monitored, tracked and maybe followed I'd be careful with your posts and online gambling action. US police beating? What case are you referring too? I'm talking about Human rights man not a traffic stop or Olympics. :what:

Sorry but you're a joke. I responded to a reply and then posted my opinion. I'm only ashamed of things I've done wrong, not this thread. I do have a clue, maybe you don't? When Casino Meister says NO political stuff in his forum I'll abide but not from the thunder down under. Make a point and quit rattling on.

Please note that, here is just a discussion forum for casino.
Oh,my friends?when the debate to stop, you will be happy.:)

I agree with you Goldfire but when posters POST, HAPPY CHINA DAY banner like ads/ posts then I have the right to respond. Regardless of the anti American followers on this board.

TOC, there comes a time when personal opinions should be kept personal and this is one of those times. Your personal opinions about other countries and their politics should have been kept personal and not used to start something, which in my opinion is what you intended to do.

This forum is made up of a lot of people from a lot of different places on earth. We are brought together for one common thing, gambling. Political views should not be brought up here. Take it somewhere else. This forum is not the right place.

Heather wasnt saying anything about how happy China is, or anything about China in fact, she was just wishing Chu and others the best for their special day...in other words, she was being nice - you should try it some time.

Exactly Nifty29!
I can't believe how TOC took my wishing friends a HAPPY CHINA NATIONAL DAY and turned it into their own BULLSH*T.
TOC...if you want to get your political headache off your chest, then start a thread in the political area. No need to derail a thread that had nothing to do with what your bellyaching about!

Look, all I did was state my opinion to Heatherad and her BANNER looking post about HAPPY CHINA DAY. BACK OFF.

HAPPY CHINA NATIONAL DAY to you as well TOC

I hate to see what you'll do if someone is wished a Happy Birthday and you don't like the country they come from. You took something very simple and blew it out of porportion to suit your own needs. Shame on you!

MOB Member? Come on, do you have to hurl insults at others who dont agree with you. Liz is a friend of mine and I am annoyed that you have said this to her. Call her part of a gang if you like. We are members of the social club and we address others collectively as "Gang". I missed the 911 part but surely this was stated in bad taste. I was shocked when I saw that happen and I sincerely hope you wont mention it again.

Hi Meister Mob

You people crack me up, a small few that agrees with whatever each other says and no matter what. TOC is such a bad boy, shame on you replies, give me a break. I'll state my opinion whenever I want as long as I'm within the guidelines of this forum and whether you like it or not. It's not your house.
As far as me making this thread political, well it was political from the get go. When someone wishes everyone Happy China Day I have the right to respond. And when a casino gives out free money to China players in support of the celebration of 60 years of communist power I have the right to respond with my opinion too. Happy Birthday free play is a long way from supporting communist rule. Tell me how many US players get free money for the 4th. Of July from your favorite casino? Can I discuss this? Sure it's a message board!! (a board on which messages may be posted, especially one in a public space; a system in which users may send, read and reply to public messages.)
I've also read in this thread that I'm just trying to start something, why would I? The problem is the Meister Mob and I'll define that so you'll understand. ( A select few posters that agree with each other no matter what they say and then go around posting "Thanks" under each other posts.) If you'd prefer calling it the Meister Gang that's fine but Meister Mob seems to flow a bit better, don't you think? Look I'm posting my opinion: (a personal belief or judgment that is not founded on proof or certainty; "my opinion differs from yours.) Learn to debate:(discuss the pros and cons of an issue.)
I'll leave with a toast, if I may. "Here's to you and here's to me and if we should ever disagree * you here's to me." Cheers!

Hi TOC,

I dont think people are trying to gang up on you. In fact, Im pretty sure we would rather have you among us . The thing is, I think you are miss-interpreting our intentions and the meanings behind them.

You saw us celebrating this day as a celebration of alleged atrocities (Im not going into whether they happened or not or to what degree or how or who, you guys know that, I have no knowledge of the issue and it is off-topic anyway).

But that is not what we are doing. We are celebrating national pride. We did issue a 4th of July free chip now that you mention it. And by doing so we werent condoning or supporting polemic issues such as Guantanamo (and again Im not going into whether it happened or not or to what degree or who, or if it was justified, you guys know that, I have no knowledge of these issues and it is off-topic anyway).

We did it because Americans, just like Chinese, and citizens of virtually all countries, have a right to feel proud of being themselves and of their national strengths. Virtually every nation has wonderful things about it. So why not celebrate each nations day? :yahoo:

And yes, every nation has negative aspects also, some more than others. But people also have defects some more than others does that mean we cant celebrate our b-days? ;)

And yes, every nation has negative aspects also, some more than others. I don't know which have more problems than others, as I haven't traveled much... and even if I did I doubt I would be wise enough to be able to make such a judgment over such a huge generality. But people also have defects some more than others does that mean we cant celebrate our b-days? ;)

Couldnt have said it better myself Nicholas, so Im not going to try. :)

Well what you're doing IS NOT within the guidelines:

1.11 - Please do not exploit this board to promote your own personal agenda. If the moderators (and members) feel that you are spamming the board with links or ad copy to your website, harassing members with agenda laden posts, or consistently ragging on a casino that did you wrong, etc., your account may be suspended.

1.15 - Do not hijack threads. If you have something to say - say it, but please respect the other members by keeping threads "on track". If you have an issue that needs addressing, then please start another thread. Hijacking threads for your own agenda is not only rude, it is troll-like and can lead to a suspension.

TOC - I dont have a problem with YOU having a problem with China, thats your choice...its just the stuff you posted doesnt belong here in a thread that was about casinos giving free chips to Chinese players to celebrate their National Day. There is absolutely NOTHING political whatsoever about that.

You've been around long enough to know what's OK and what isnt....and you're right, it isnt my house...but I sure as hell give it the respect it deserves which is more than I can say for you. If someone came to MY house carrying on like you have on many occasions since you joined I would ask you to leave.

TOC

Thanks for your explaination of Mob Member. Firstly I try to post what I feel, not what others want me too. Sometimes I agree with posters, sometimes not.

Secondly, I have not thanked a member in this thread and I employ you to find any thread that I simply jumped on the banwagon to ever do so. I thank people when I agree with them or appreciate what they have said, or have helped me in some way. I am my own person.

As for those who are now speaking on my behalf thank you, but don't waste another second on this, not only is it super derailed (sorry OP) but its not important to me. People around the globe are being swept away and crushed by earthquakes.

$50.00 free slot play

Nicolas, so you're telling me your casino gave everyone in the US $50.00 free on the 4th of July, like you gave Chu $50.00 for Happy China Day? Ya right! Come on man I was born at night but not last night... Also, you honestly don't think people gang up on posters of this site? Look up, got a guy down under trying to show me the rules and regulations. Once again Nifty you're not making any since. If I've violated rules show me the violation and don't just post the rules. Come on.. Everyone that received $50.00 free play on the 4th. of July 2009 and in the US from Vegas Regal Casino please respond so I can stand corrected.

Tibet! Tibet! Tibet!

I like everyone in the world who are good, kind and honest. But the Chinese government are none of the above. They don't know what human rights are. And in my honest opinion they don't speak for the Chinese people.

I to wish TOC hadn't brought this up, even know I partially agree. But we all know the truth.

All are countrys have been complete bastartds at one time or another in history or even present time, so thes get on with the gambling:thumbsup:

Slotheadlizard is worried about earthquakes, so should this thread stop and move to earthquakes or what? I was told it was an Online Casino thread only so I'm not sure about an earthquake thread? :D

For China Day we gave $40, not $50. I gave $50 to Chuchu because we made a mistake, so I gave him a little more :)

For the 4th of July we gave away a $20 free chip to ALL our US players. We would have given out the same amount as for China Day, but back then we were newer and had to play our bonus giving a little more conservatively. As we grow, we can afford to be more generous, and that is why one was bigger than the other.

And if you don't believe me, just google the casino + the words 4th of July Free Chip and you will see. I'm sure some members of this board also received it.

Well, I'm glad our Chinese members got a little something on their national day. I got some Canada Day money this year, and I know that many casinos offered 4th of July freebies or match bonuses for my US cousins.

Casinos know which country we play from, and have the ability to tailor their offers. This is just good marketing. I suspect that players from the UK and other countries also receive offers on special occasions.

China is a huge market, and casinos would be remiss to ignore it.

Just an admin note in this thread so you know what's up. TOC's account was suspended for two weeks for flaming and making troll-like posts.

Well, I'm not from China ( I was born in South Korea), but I think the casino's gesture was one of great showing. To recognize people from different corners of the world is, IMO, a gesture towards goodwill. I taught my children when they were growing up, that all people are the same, but with different outer wrapping. We all have feelings and we all bleed the same color. We are not responsible for the actions of our forefathers, although I can't say too much for some of the political leaders we have in the world today. I am happy that some of the Meister members were remembered on their special day. Congrats to all who received the bonus!
