I just made a deposit at Cherry Red using bonus code OSTRICH4, however it did not go through and this is the answer I got from Live Support:

Meg: Unfortunately, our bonuses are no longer applicable to Click2Pay, Neteller or Moneybooker deposits. This is a change in the way our bonuses are marketed and bonus offers are subject to change from time to time. Please keep updated with the Promotions section on the website to find out about any future changes (www.cherryredcasino.com/Promotions )

The code was emailed to me in the Newsletter, but no mention of the bonus rule change. Cherry Red is correct that the rule has changed so I can't dispute the bonus denial. However, maybe my experience can prevent another depositer from a bonus refusal surprise!
:(

same thing is happening to me.
But my case is more complicated, since it's from 2 weekend I cannot do any deposit on CR using my debit card. Everytime I try to use my visa electron on CR, pop-up error is appearing mentioning "script errors". This is happening on CR only. On all others casinos (RTG, MG, Rival etcetera) no problem at all with that visa electron.
But when tranferring the money from visa to neteller and trying to deposit it on CR.... magically it works ! But of course I cannot take profit anymore of the Ostrich bonus.
Last weekend I explained this fact to their support, I was lucky meeting there a person using good-sense and she manually gave me the 150% even if using neteller.
Today I am in the same situation but the operators are refusing to help me.
Don't like casinos offering bonuses which are not reachable from users.

This is now getting BEYOND a joke. WHAT THE F**K IS THE GODDAM PROBLEM WITH NETELLER, MONEYBOOKERS etc.

I AM AT A COMPLETE LOSS - THERE ARE NO OTHER REALISTIC OPTIONS because these casinos ONLY operate in US Dollars.

It's getting clearer by the day that RTG casinos want ONLY AMERICAN PLAYERS, and what they mean is that the bonuses are ONLY INTENDED for American players (see the weasly excuse "This is a change in the way our bonuses are marketed"). AMERICAN players are not affected at all, because they all use Quicktender, which is essentially the SAME as these other three, except it's for Americans, and not the rest of us.

The "rest of the world" is now the IMPORTANT market, NOT America with the ever tightening grip of UIGEA regulations, which MAY become so suffocating that even the keenest players find they are unable to so much as operate through QT, let alone get prepaid cards to work.

I also RESENT the way these changes are being left for players to find, rather than the casino ACTIVELY bringing them to the attention of their regular players.

Couldn't agree more with vinyl here. Quicktender, usemywallet, ewalletxpress, those are what are offered at many rtg:s , and those are only available to americans. I mean why offer bonuses at al if they are not for everybody. And if a casino thinks that players are winnings too much on bonuses, then just exclude the players from using them, but do not offer the bonuses to just a certain group of players, and exclude everyone else, thats just bad.

It's the biggest mass exclusion to date. Rather than a list of EXCLUDED countries, they have established by proxy a small list of INCLUDED countries.

The bonuses for these select few are pretty BIG, yet although they are more or less only for Americans, the lowered slot RTPs to compensate are for EVERYBODY!

This is another Rushmore skin, and earlier they ONLY bonus banned Neteller, but when we moaned we got the same bullshit "change of marketing" and were advised to use a different deposit method.

All they have done though, is follow their players around, and banning one after another of the deposit methods they started using INSTEAD of Neteller. Oddly enough EXACTLY what I predicted would happen at the time, and WHY I would not be joining in their silly game by opening a Moneybookers account, only to find this banned by the time I had it up & running. This thread has proved this is EXACTLY what would have happened, had I played along, rather than doing what I did do, which was to UNINSTALL RUSHMORE, and forget about any of the others in the group.

I am also NOT playing this stupid game with Ladbrokes, uninstalled instead of running around after them moving to Moneybookers, although at least there, and the fact they support UK Pounds, I could have used a credit card.

MOST of the card based deposit options at Rushmore also have this "powered by Moneybookers" logo next to them, so presumably these are bonus banned too, even though it's a CARD being used. This means they are making damn sure ONLY Americans can get the bonuses, and not other countries' players by them switching to cards.

IF the US market falls of a cliff (come June 1st), what are Rushmore going to do? They will have pissed off most non-US players, but will want them back, and FAST, because of LIQUIDITY, if not overall profit/loss, and reserves.

I would simply withdraw the money Ive deposited

this is exactly what I did, last friday. Unfortunately I had been told there was no way to have my money back immediately, 'cos it was a week-end.

So that I waited till monday (yesterday). Finally the week-end was over, I contacted them and I had been told (in chat service) that my withdrawal was not a "regular" one, but in truth is a REFUND, since I did not play the deposited money. To solution this, I had to send a e-mail to their accounting dept. explaining the situation. Done (yesterday).

No reply.

So that today I contacted them again in chat and they told me I have to wager at least 1X the deposited amount, for security reasons.

In conclusion:
There was a 150% bonus I wanted to claim.
I tried to deposit thru credit card to take it.
Their cashier page had a problem with c/c so that I was forced to switch to neteller (btw with an extra cost of 1,75% I paid).
Once deposited thru neteller, the bonus was not available anymore.
So that, I understood the problem, and I tried to cashin without playing.
Now the latest news is that I must wager 1X the amount before doing withdrawals.
I feel like I lost 51$ without doing not even one single spin.
:puke:

Any suggestion ?

(I feel awfully sorry for my english, I hope you can follow me despite my errors)

PAB - Although your withdrawal is a refund, you did not CHOOSE to deposit by Neteller, it was THEIR problem with the cashier page that FORCED another option onto you.

"rules is rules" should NOT apply in this situation because it was partly caused by a technical error on their part.

If they ARE going to use "rules is rules" it works BOTH ways. YOU are entitled to a full refund because you did NOT get the service you "purchased", rather they substituted a different one in it's place, therefore you have a right to refuse the offer of an alternative, and have a full refund.

Normally with RTG, you enter the code FIRST, and are then given easy access to all the pertinent information in the cashier. By depositing first, you ONLY get given this information AFTER you have deposited, and this is NOT how RTG intended the system to work. Had you entered the code first, and the system been designed to operate as RTG intended, you would have been presented with the information that the code was not going to be valid BEFORE you pressed that all important deposit button, and could have backed out.

There was a similar case a while back, and Bryan ruled that the player should be given a refund. The player deposited, but then found the table limits ridiculously low for his level of thrill seeking, so he asked for his money back.

In your case, you want it sent back to where it came from, Neteller, so there is no chance of the casino being defrauded through being used to move money in by one method, and out by another. The usual documents should suffice.

If you DID manage to deposit by card, you would ONLY be paid by cheque, you could NOT receive the money back through Neteller.

As I said, this group ONLY WANT AMERICANS, and they have severely skewed their marketing efforts and service delivery to give the US player the best experience, but this is being SUBSIDISED by the non-US player who has no access to many of the promotions, AND has the inconvenience of receiving US focused customer service standards.

These few more lines just to inform the problem has been positively solutioned.
The deposits / withdrawals dept of CR has investigated into my account and they decided to refund me.
Money is on my Neteller account already.
I am pleased of this happy end and I thank you all with your suggestions and considerations.
Ciao !

Hi everyone,

I would like to inform everyone that we have re-assessed our policies and marketing of our bonuses and we are now offering bonuses up to 100% to Neteller, Click2Pay and Moneybookers deposits.

This therefore includes the Rushmore 2 x 100% bonuses and weekly 50% bonuses, the Cherry Red 10 x 100% welcome bonuses and 50% weekly bonuses and the Slots Oasis weekly 50% bonuses.

Kind regards,

Louise
Rushmore, Cherry Red & Slots Oasis Rep.

Good news about the policy change, but I have already deleted Rushmore and Cherry Red from my computer.
I don't think I will bother to re-install and deposit again since this proves that these casinos will change their minds about bonus policies without bothering to let the players know
