I luv 3dice chat idea when you cant hit at least you can moan with others. And if you hit they can see that also. Wondering if there is a way we could set up a open chat forum with members here and chat with each other as we are at dif casinos playing. Ive seen the kids do the msn chat and so on, I know it takes a lot of work and so on but would be a lot of fun.

I'm 32 years old and all my friednds are also about 30 years, so i don't think, that MSN is only for kids

Slotmonster suggested another day that we should all go on skype - in skype you can chat 1 to 1 or in group, talk on the phone for free, exchange pictures etc. The only problem is, it is not anonymous - you will see each other's location, and sometimes real name and photo

Oh that would be great simmo. I think half the fun is taken away at times with playing online then land casinos. More then not when you go to a land casino you have friends with you to share losses or wins. Here when you play online you either just make a post to comment on whats going on, at least with chat a few of us can enjoy a group of us playing online together.

I believe a 'chat box' at the top of the page is a standard feature available with vBulletin (the software this forum uses) as I'm pretty sure I have seen it on other vBulletin forums.
But if I had to guess, I would say most forum owners would not want to use it as people could end up only chatting & not posting. The trouble with chat is there's no record afterwards...

Perhaps I'm suffering from some sort of delusion, but I thought we did have a 'chat' feature here at one time. No one ever used it... or it was very, very rare that I saw it in use.

what happened to all the actual "chat rooms"? yahoo and msn messengers used to have them back in like y2k, but they seem to have fallen out of favour giving way to facebooks and forums. is there anywhere anymore where you can just log into a room full of a random or themed group of people, fewer than half of whom are porno-bots? was it because of all the dateline/stalking/bullying stuff that no one wants to be the venue for that, so no more chat rooms?

How true year 1999 all these chatrooms and so on went full speed ahead.
Think simmo and few others are going to set something up for us casinomeister members to chat while playing. Hey we can always bully each other over slot wins LOL.

imo, i like the forum as is ,a forum, and we have all the other nice things bryan has set up that we didnt have before, chat rooms if i feel the need to chit chat ill go to 3 dice....................laurie

My husband talks on skype everyday, sometimes for hours. You do not have to give personal information, if you do not want to. I have never gone on chat at 3dice or bingo rooms. I never know what to say and have never got the hang of the lingo used, I like to type whole words! I feel I'm the only person left who does not enjoy chat rooms, although I enjoy this forum and reading the posts. If ANYONE out there feels like I do, please let me know.

i think its a great idea a chat room for meister members. i beleive msn has groups chats also. i use to do that when i was playing on pogo and in groups.

I know there are a few that dont like to participate in live chat and thats understandable. But if we direct it to the members here, and you wish to at least you can sit in and read what some of us members are chatting about. Most times as we type here in the forum we are also in casinos playing. I just kinda thought would be neat some of us ones that do play few hours day that if you had open chat with some of our family members, you could also see what games are hitting whats not and enjoy each others joy and suffering.

LOL....i suspect that will be the case unless ppl want to use it I guess it could be useful for ppl to arrange to meet each other. Anyway - its there if ppl want it - and I stuck a script on the front page that tells you who's in there to save logging in every time to check

Thks simmo your one great muppet. Ok casino family simmo has set up a chat forum for us give me a few days to look and fig it out with simmo and we will be able to play and chat at same time. Cant wait like a kid in a candy store.

IMO Skype is the best choise. As Elizabeth already said, there is no need to give your true personal info, so you may enter whatever you want instead of your real name and location. It's easy-to-use, very cheap (you can call to another Skype users for free), and may be used as messenger. You can chat with your friends, organise group chat or conversation (you need headphones with microphone for this).

One fri or sat nite we should set up microphones and hit the slots with a bunch of us in chat. Would be fun chatting and playing with bunch of us on here and see how the card players do against us slot junkies lol Who knows if i hit something maybe someone in chat can show me how to keep a pic of it all.
