Ok thats it i give up on free spins, ones that come with a deposit obviously. And it doesnt really matter if its 30x , 35x or 88x , i just wont make a single deposit just because im going to get a few free spins with huge wagering attached to it. So now im looking for a casino that accepts europeans (other than Thrills and Videoslots, because my country, Bosnia, isnt accepted there) and has either low wagering on fs, or no wagering at all.

What finally got me, is what happened today. I got 30 fs at a casino i wont name here (but its fairly nice, other than x35 wagering on fs) and won... $149 with it. What wasnt really nice is that im supposed to spend my next 24 days wagering 5.3k, not being able to play slots i want either, to maybe, possibly get something out of my awesome bonus. Gotta love bonuses.

Seriously, its about time bonuses start being ... well, bonuses again. No i dont think this was a bonus, at least not one that works in players favor. I dont want to get a bonus that works in a weird way, as in i hope i dont actually win big while playing slots. There is absolutely no logic in that and its just ... evil

Im already a member of drueckglueck for a couple of weeks now (since i started playing again) and while they are nice, they dont really offer more than a couple of spins once in a blue moon, plus they only have netent and a few wms games. Im also a member of rizk and got to lvl 21 there in a few days but stopped playing there, because while they do have quite a few games, 5 free spins at 10c you get as a reward are not something im willing to wager hundreds for :/

Just to make things clear, im not new to slots and im well aware how a few cents (or sometimes a few dollars) you get from 10-20 FS are most likely not going to make you a fortune, wagering or no wagering. I just hate how such an amazing hit got to waste because of unreasonable wagering requirements. When offering free spins in exchange for a deposit The only way to make free spins (with wagering) worth anything, is to base the wagering on the initial value of the free spins, NOT the winnings.

I can't see why casinos can't offer that.

They'll quite happily give £10 bonus with, say 35x wagering for a £10 deposit, meaning a WR of £350, and you can play whatever game you want (with a few restrictions).

So, why. when they're dictating the game you have to play your 'bonus' on, can't they offer £10 worth of free spins for a £10 deposit with a WR of £350, and NOT what you happen to win from those free spins ?????

The reason is probably because the majority of people see an offer of, 50 free spins for £10 deposit, and don't think it through.

I've take deposit based free spins, but only when I've been making a deposit anyway. An offer has NEVER made me make a deposit

I take deposit based percentage matches as you guys know and usually shop around for the best deal of the day due to small budget/low roller and so on.

Free Spins on the other hand, I have learnt my lesson.

Whilst an offer may seem attractive 'Deposit £20 for 50/100 FS on Jack and The Beanstalk' for example (seen this and similar numerous times over the years)

Wow, not bad I think, trouble is 99/100 they pay crap and you end up with about a fiver extra on your starting balance PLUS wagering for the sake of said fiver. Win at start of session I'm stuffed!

On rare days you hit big off FS and then have a 'Mount Everest' of virtually impossible WR to meet.

A no win situation in most instances.

At least with a deposit bonus (%) you know before the off exactly how much wagering is expected.

As I've learnt to start doing more often now, straight cash, no bonus, no FS and with drawn when I want.

The other option (which seems fairest and best) is when FS are added the following day or you can play your cash first, withdraw if you get lucky and the FS serve as a back up or a 'free try' the next day (Hopefully without the worrying BS if there are any 'winnings voided' related rules hidden in their T&C's)

Thanks all for your replies and yeah from now on ill probably just skip those free spins bonuses of any sort that require either wagering tons of real money, or $20-$50 deposit (which is a lot for me since im a lowroller and my weekly budget rarely goes past $100, if that much).

I also have to shop for nice offers too, and while i play without bonuses quite a few times, its always nice to have a healthier starting bankroll as my budget dictates if i have to look for bonuses or not, so mostly i have to hope for a decent bonus or two

jeez and i thought i had it bad i also play on casumo for a few weeks now, only made a few deposits though (obviously i tried most of well received casinos ) and im just a lowly white belt there. ah i heard about that one from a friend, he usually uses it for sports betting but im pretty sure they do send a few free spins to random people every now and then, and they have like no wagering or 1x wagering, or something really low

Now thats super nice feature I wish it was there from get go, because 5-10 FS is something most lowrollers get per their session (sometimes just 5 ) and unless a freak hit like above happens, you wont get too much out of it.

But credits when its due though, that wheel and leveling rewards got all that much better with removal of black skull + now this, i just wish it was like that when i just started playing because my 20 odd levels got wasted on 5 FS (70% of the time), race tickets , and superwheel skull at lvl 20. I did get one $5 cash reward though, which was awesome

also, not sure if you noticed my other question (might not even be in same post ) where i asked if there are any plans to add some lowroller friendly races, or reel races in general (like videoslots, and now casumo is doing, well just without casumo wagering on rewards ).
