There's another thread on this but the consensus was that the tips do not go to the dealer at most live casino providers that offer tips.

Welcome to the forum.

Tips are for horse racing and political bets, they don't work in casino. There may be some tiny gains that can be made in Live Casino, as human error is always a factor, but the 'house edge' always keeps casinos in a profitable position.

He meant tips like that thing that exists in America because companies refuse to pay their staff enough money.

The easiest way to find out is to ask the dealers yourself. Just open a few games from both providers and ask the question 'Do you keep all your tips, or does the company take a cut?' In offline casinos, usually, bar staff keep their tips and table dealers keep theirs, and then weekly/monthly split them. I think it's fair and also good motivation for people to do their job well.

But usually dealers don’t share this information, because it is confidential information, that is a reason why I asked people here, apparently someone knew it precisely , but thank you very much for answering✨

It was from the moderator for live games here.

Type "Tipping a dealer on Live dealer Playtech Casino" in a search bar, and you should find an old thread where a player directly asked a similar question to the dealer. The dealer said "Yes." The thread is from 2008, so things could be different now. IMO, keeping this info confidential is stupid.

Imagine you had a good run on roulette or blackjack, and now you're happy and want to share some of your winnings with the dealer to make their day better. Would you still tip if 100% went to the provider? Fak dat. They make millions in minutes.

If you're trying to find it all out because you planning to get a job at Playtech or Evolution then that's a different story.

Hey mate, can land based UK dealers accept tips now?

Massive "No-No" when I worked in land based and we had to even have our trouser pockets sewn shut and subject to occasional "body searches"

You can't do it directly but you can tip them at the table. You just pass them some chips and that's it. Then they knock a chip against something so the pit boss knows too, and then throw them in a special box. Usually i ask about how the tips get shared when at a new casino and they never refuse to tell.

As a Croupier back in the day, tipping was not accepted, lest we start believing our own hype and making other dealers feel like the lumpies they were :p

Last I heard through the grapevine, circa 2012 or thereabouts, land-based tipping had become a thing, which obviously irked me, but in a 'collective' way, whereby tips are collected at the end of the week/ month or whatever and distributed evenly amongst the staff, in that Participation Trophy kinda way. Perhaps that's the standard practice now, I'd imagine it still is 🤷‍♂️

As for Eastern European crime havens and cup 'o' cocoa jurisdiction 'online' Live dealers, most dealers are likely just happy to still be standing in those working conditions, and communal treasure chests distributed evenly amongst higher management. Whatever tips are handed out are unlikely to end up with that specific dealer, I should think 🤔

I had a best friend (no longer speak as he turned out to be a word that ends in Tuesday) who worked as a dealer for Grosvenor. Circa 2015 onwards.

As you mention, tips were a thing and they were shared equally.

In addition, more I think about it, tips should have been allowed back in t'day (although I fully understand why they were not too lol)

Jaded, age old memories but 90% sure when I started out in the casino (1995) I was on some ridiculously low wage like £1.75 p/h (yes really)

Seeing a punter win a couple of grand, he should have easily been allowed to throw me a tenner lol.

Talking excessive end of the scale but on a really good night, the valet girls could net £150-£200 a night between the 2 of them which for a small casino, back then was amazing IMO.
