Casinos keep disappearing- weird glitch

Both Jackpot Capital and Slotastic casino software keep disappearing - This has been happening since Wednesday- I play and log out when finished. The next time I try to play the system tells me that the casino exe this shortcut points to no longer works and the casino does not show in my list of programs- other RTG's are fine.


Is this happening to anyone else and do any of the more tech minded OP's have any suggestions?

I had a similar experience when one of my RTG casinos tried to update - somehow the update got garbled and locked up, when I next tried to open it the casino executable had disappeared. But I reinstalled and did the update again and it worked fine. Whenever you open the casinos do they try to update? Maybe it's the same sort of issue, maybe their update is wonky. I'm just guessing.

Missing shortcuts does sound like a problem due to failed updates. It might be worthwhile to do a complete uninstall to clean everything before reinstalling.

Also make sure you're using the most recently created shortcut - for example some software creates a new shortcut after updates, pointing to a new file location, but can leave the old shortcut behind that now points to an obsolete location. This happens to me sometimes, I click a shortcut and it says the file no longer exists, then I realize I was clicking an older shortcut and the new shortcut is somewhere else.

Another possibility is that your anti-virus software is interfering, since occasionally casino software gets classified as malware and this can interfere with programs running or updating. Although you'd probably see an anti-virus alert if that was happening, but it's something to keep in mind as a possibility.
