Casinos and US customers...

My 2c... I'm liking the Jackpot Factory group. ACH, good to go.. now paper checks for payout as well. I can't say I've been 100% on top of what's going on, just the casinos I play at. It seems to me these guys have done the very best they could under the circumstances. Less than a week from having the US rug yanked out from under them, they are there for us.

Inexia has been top-notch.

Their games are what I look for, the software is stable, the customer service has never failed me.

Inexia are the cause of pretty much all the problems I have had with them, their service was dire a year ago, although they have improved standards of late.

Kind of an odd time to be asking which casino is best for U.S. players. It it irrelevent under the current circumstances. The better question to be asking is which casinos still allow U.S. customers, and of those, which ones have a way for U.S. players to fund their accounts. I'm no expert, and I haven't done exhaustive research, but I'm not aware of ONE SINGLE CASINO that still allows U.S. players, and has a reasonable way to fund and has a reasonable way to collect any winnings. As far as I see it, the U.S. player is essentially shut out completely from online gambling at the moment. There are ancillary reports that accounts can be funded with Netspend, but that won't last very much longer. Every other deposit method that I am aware of is shut off. For cashouts, it appears that the only option is a paper check, but there is some genuine concern as to whether U.S. banks will accept checks drawn on a casino account (regardless of what name actually appears on the check).

Are there any U.S. players who have found a reasonable, reliable, trustworthy casino that meets all these criterion? If so, please do share.

Thanks VWM. I'm glad I played with them after they got their act together. The longest it ever took for me was about 72 hours for a four digit withdrawal. All others were much quicker.

I had read earlier on here somewhere where the group had let some marketers spam, etc. but that they apologized and stopped the practice. The only direct marketing I got from them was a nice xmas card with a bonus code that returned a tidy little sum. I liked that. :D Oh yeah, and sometimes I would log in and for no apparent reason I'd find $25 sitting there in bonus.

If I didn't already have money in casinos, I would wait a few weeks to see whether the sky is falling or the casinos will find a way to cope in the present environment. The withdrawal of Neteller and ACH processors was the expected result of the UIGEA; it just happened sooner because of DOJ saber rattling. The encouraging thing is that casinos/sports books/poker sites have not bailed as a result of this saber rattling. If the movement of money were going to become impossible or nearly so, I think we would have already seen operators exiting the US market. I know, it's only been a week, so we'll see.

Once things settle a bit I would suggest you consider Bodog. Nupay for deposits, courier check for withdrawals. They bent over backwards in recent days to pay their players quickly, absorbing Western Union fees while they were between check processors. They showed they had a plan in place to roll with the punches, which gives me confidence in them.

Why irrelevant? What circumstances?

Only because their dictatorial government is not allowing transfers it does not mean US people will stop gambling....

On the other hand, the US is the biggest online gambling market, thats a fact.

Plus, people who is on the US will like to know where to play at.

I used to work for the Main Street Vegas Group and they are quite reliable, just my 2 cents.

Not anymore. I just read (Time, I think) that Macau has surpassed Vegas as far as gambling revenues go.

If you took offense to my post, please know that none was intended. I was simply pointing out that as a U.S. player, I am not aware of any options left to deposit and withdraw at any online casino. Given that the U.S. player is effectvely shut out from online gambling at the moment, I was just wondering the point of asking which casinos were best for U.S. players. As an example, you've mentioned Main Street Vegas a couple of times. I did a live chat with them, and they are accepting U.S. players, but the only deposit method available is credit card or Western Union. The majority, if not all, U.S. credit cards (like mine) will be rejected if attempting to deposit in an online casino, and Western Union is no longer handling any form of gambling transaction, so I couldn't play at any of the Main Street Vegas casinos even if I wanted to.

You are correct that U.S. players will not stop gambling, but I believe we have been forced to stop online gambling for now. I suspect that B&M casinos will see an increased level of business from U.S. players who can no longer gamble online.

By the way, you said that U.S. players would like to know where to play at. Very, very true!!!! I would welcome that information, as would everyone else in the forum. So....where can I play? Who will take me? Who will accept my money? If you know of a casino, please do share.

Here's one that will still take your money...

OK, now please everyone - don't throw rocks at me all at once, ok? I'm simply responding to the question "Where can I still deposit and withdraw?" Virtual Casino will take credit card deposits THROUGH THEIR WEBSITE (and yes, they go through, even tho they WONT go through on the cashier page!) I know that there have been allot of horror stories with Virtual, but they have cleaned up their act as far as I can tell...I have made three withdrawls through Virtual (all for over $2,000.00) and I was paid within a week. The only bad thing is that they limit withdrawals to $2K per week. If you can live with that, it will scratch the itch until some of the more mainstream casinos find a way to deal with this - and believe me, they will find a way.

I made withdrawls via Western Union and direct deposit to my bank account...if that won't work anymore, I guess a paper check is the way to go. I have cashed SEVERAL casino checks through various check-cashing places...I guess no one has told them of the new laws.....I had Vegas7 email me and tell me they are still able to do ACH withdrawals....ill informed?? Dunno.

Probably just a precaution. When I was still able to use a credit card for gambling, whenever I used it at a new place, my bank would call and verify that I made the charges, as it was billed out of the country.

Thanks Amatrine, you were right as I called B of A and they simply wanted to verify I had used the card for those two transactions and also for taxact online. The hold was removed but I don't believe I feel comfortable using it again. Just nerves!:)

sorry but I don't understand what your pre-existing Click2Pay deposit/withdrawl activity has to do with it unless they start taking on new customers. Will this happen? Is there really a silver lining out there somewhere? Thnx

I use Bank of America too - and believe me, you don't have to be nervous about this...I went through a period last year with them in which they questioned EVERY online transaction I made - gambling or bill paying...however, once they see charges to a particular merchant (i.e. a disguised gambling portal) they won't question it anymore nor block the transactions. One time, we went out of town to a land based casino resort and they "just felt" like someone else was using our card and put a block on it. We couldn't use the ATM, buy dinner, gamble....NOTHING. And because it was a Sunday, we couldn't even call the 800 number to get through to Security to have it "un-blocked". It was a nightmare. Anyway, my point is, you should be ok using it as long as you call security and verify the transaction if they block it.

mainstreet live chat is telling me there is no way to pay americans now, not even check, because they used citadel which is no longer an option. they say probably two weeks before they can start doing withdrawels to usa again.

Can you clarify what you meant? (WHAT was mentioned as the best option for USA players..."since they were mentioned as the best option now for us americans...." - who are "they"?)

Als- is it just me, or are the new sign ups for EcoCard confusing as to how to fund the account?

i was referring to mainstreet group, as they were mentioned in the first post of this thread as the bestcurrent option for usa.
figured it'd be good for people to know that you won't be getting your money back for awhile.

I get this all the time when I travel and make charges from unusual locations. They are just making sure it is actually you using the card... Pain in the axx but generally a good thing.

I have been having a problem with the mainstreet group. First as an affiliate, they never answer any of my emails.

I have a player that has been trying to cashout since December 20. Still no payment, they keep giving excuses and what not.

Does anyone have a contact here so I can help this player out?

BANK OF AMERICA CHECK CARD

I have been a LONG time customer of Bank of America. I have never, ever, been able to use my check card at casinos.

Another USA friendly casino with quick deposit option

I live in Illinios, one of the eleven banned states from 99 percent of online casinos. I downloaded Intertops casino and even though it is a microgamming casino, it takes ALL USA players. I tried a small deposit with my credit card and was credited in less than a minute. I am not sure how long this will last, as they are running the transaction through as something else. Hopefully they won't get caught, because I have been running out of deposit options and Illinois friendly casinos. I don't have a clue how fast they pay if I win, but for now I am very happy with their software.:)

Contact cs at [email protected] or call them, I guarantee you that he will get paid.. as all websites they might be having problems with some methods...

Remember they switched from Playtech to RTG recently also

If he is from outside the US, he should receive his money pronto

Guarantee and Pronto huh ? After this player has waited for over a month now for their payment. They could have received a snail mail check and cashed it by now...Jeeze...:what:
 
Guess I jinxed myself....

Well, I WAS using my BofA debit card at Big Dollar - smooth sailing for several days with no rejections. (I entered it as a debit card and not a credit card, don't know if it matters)

Anyway, all of a sudden tonight - BOOM!!! Every time I try, it's rejected. And the transactions have been showing on my statement as looking like a retail store purchase...no hint of gambling, but hey, maybe they figured it out, who knows.

Can anyone confirm which MC/RTG casinos still use Western Union for U.S. players??

Well footdr, I was getting away with it but not anymore. After the above post I did get one more deposit thru using my B of A debit card. Now they are all declined. When I contacted CS thru live chat they provided a link that will route your request to a site (still within the casino) that allows you to use your CC to purchase "Gold" and then you agree to sell the "Gold" to them to fund your account and "no" I am not going to go that far. Will just keep plugging away at those rascal little Chuzzles till this plays itself out. :D

they do not offer paper check as a withdrawl option. that is why i dont play there anymore.
