It looks like hard work getting anything over 50x from what I've experienced so far. I've had one bonus for 25x from several hundred spins. I'll stick with it for now and see what happens...

My early thoughts are that they've tried to pile so much into the game it's hard to cut through all the noise to see where the money is, and they've robbed the bonus to pay for the wins you get in the base game when the scatters step down, which feels like dead money.

Presentation-wise it's very nice, I'll give them that.

Depending on the angle you see this as, the dragon's den will either make you or break you!

If you don't get it on your first try it'll require 2 - 4 deposits. And don't be fooled by the acquired features once you trigger the free spins. Most likely there is a nice hit but then lesser hits come in followed by dead spins, there will always be dead spins.

even once you get all the eggs 'full' so to speak it can eat a few hundred x with no bonus, pretty brutal in my experience

What this game does is that it updates the balance with every spin so in the bet history every win is showed as a separate entry instead of a cumulative win.

I didn't get more entries. I mostly lost it on Gates (I lost patience and played ante bet 3)

I can't get a win over 50x on this for love nor money. I might as well be playing Always Hot or something.

They seem to have designed a whole mini-feature around the 2x scatters and the steps, and it's just utterly pointless and adds nothing to the game. I can either get one or two COLLECT symbols from it (never seen none), so I might get one or two inconsequential wins as the third scatter fails to come in, which might get doubled if both symbols are COLLECT. You're winning nothing of any substance ever from that, and sometimes you win nothing at all having spent half a minute watching it. You don't know where to look - is the bonus coming in, or should I be looking to see if a couple of 2x fireballs land instead, so I can win an instantly-forgettable amount of money? The steps and extra chance(s) of a bonus is reward enough when landing 2 scatters. Awarding wins here is completely unnecessary.

To make matters worse, they seem to have piled at least half of the game's total RTP% into this useless mechanic, so when the bonus finally comes in it can't afford to pay anything.

Triggering the bonus is a fucking painful slog, it really is. Just give me two scatters and a tease for the third one, on that spin. If you really have to do this stepping bollocks like some of the Big Bass Bullshit slots do, don't pay half the game's RTP% from it in trivial wins and completely devalue the bonus.

Am I supposed to be chasing a 150x Silver win out of this? Because I cannot see for the life of me where it's coming from, and that's after nearly 2000 spins.

Maybe the slot is aimed at the US market, as they all love their 10x Big Win thresholds and small recyclable wins over there.

How @Mr Shine ever got a 600x win from this game I'll never know. It must be like going to the beach and picking the right grain of sand. He's gonna mop up the Gold Level though

Yeah the 2 scatter thing is annoying in this game, it makes what should be a 2-3 second spin/respin into a 10-20 second wait only to pay you 0.5x etc which feels insulting. The active window issue I mentioned earlier in chrome for me puts me off grinding the title too.

I will give it anther crack, maybe most of the UK players are unaware its open to all casinos now.

It would be a decent game if the RTP% was distributed in a better way. It's a nice theme, good sounds and GFX, and loads going on. All the ingredients are there, but the proof of the pudding is in the eating as they say. It's good of Wishbone to put the prize-money up for this tournament, so I'll keep plugging away and see if I can get some bigger wins. Hopefully others will join in too
