Hope I've put this is the right place!!

Not much of a thread but just thought I'd give fellow CM members a friendly 'heads up'

Got a phone call on an unknown number about 18.30, don't usually answer but glad I did as it was casino rewards letting me know they had credited my UK casino Club account with £30 no deposit.

I have not deposited there for at least 8 months (after I last hit screen full of Lucky Witch Symbols, withdrew £700 and got bonus banned all in one go lol!!) Prior to this I was a low-roller but reasonably frequent depositing player.

They also emailed and text same information and confirmed that I am still BB but that I could get 125% bonus on next deposit of £20 or more.

This ain't an attempt at spam or anything else but I do have small concerns as although experienced as a player I can sometimes be a bit naive as to casino tactics and although my gameplay was disgusting from the free, worried if I deposit and hit big they may throw something back in my face not to pay etc.

I'm a UK player and have had no contact with these guys in months until today, any feedback would be most welcome - thank you

I would think it would be okay and you will get paid okay jon if you win.

I always remember a few years ago id opened a few accounts at different casinos in the group and took no deposit offers. Also only deposited a few times and took bonuses unlike today where I rarely take bonuses anywhere. Had also redeemed several winning lottery tickets in a short space of time from free tickets.

Anyway I then took a 50% match at casino classic and only deposited £10. Won £600 and thought ill never get paid this but what the hell ill withdraw and see what happens. Was surprised a few days later to see it approved and in my neteller account. If they had wanted to try and not pay me im sure they could've found a reason easy enough and I wouldn't have argued as never expected to get the cashout.

Lol these days all I get several times a week are emails saying Paul I bet you never expected this. Feel like replying and saying actually I did as you send it non stop .

Lol Cheers for the reply, yep they great for filling ya junk folder, although wasn't until the phone call earlier that made me think, 'oh yeah ain't had their emails for weeks either' strange, cheers for the reassurance too!

I don't think they are as bad as some people portray - I certainly trust them.

I get more or less daily mails from these guys (only since registering months ago never before) but I can't find any info on them anywhere - They are called GR88.com. Only ask as a UK player I'm always looking to 'replace' some of the casinos I lost when my 'regulars' pulled out of the market.

I love this story and I love your calm attitude to what happened.

They ring you out the blue, offer you £30 nd, you play it and win big and then are subsequently bonus banned. Despite this they still dangle the carrot of a 125% bonus in your face, hilarious.

The great thing about online casinos is there is lots of choice and you can spend your money whereever you like, so if you are not feeling comfortable with one casinos behaviour you can go play at another.

I might have not typed in the OP clearly enough what happened for which I apologise.

The decent cash out and subsequent bonus ban was from a winning deposit, a good while ago. This lead me to stop using them as at the time I had the big choice of Palace group, VPL, Fortune Lounge etc to also play at, along with my fave 32red for MG download casinos, all offering various daily offers which gave them better chance of getting my daily deposit as I prefer to play with a bonus, even if small to extend play time as a low roller.

I think it had been the length of my inactivity at the CR group which initiated the phone call / free £ and deposit offer.

Still a bit annoying tho as if I cashed out at any of the others I'd still get offers, got it into my head that these guys said ' £700, hmm no more biscuits for you boy' and hence stayed away.

Totally unsure but I think they maybe in the process of working thru a list of inactive or bonus banned players in an attempt to drum up some much needed business!! - Would have thought UK players would be bottom of the pile these days tho

By coincidence this group is based in the same country as Casino Rewards - but they are not linked.
They do have an "off the wall" way of advertising - at LAC 2013 the affiliate guy had his picture put on those round white things you find at the bottom of a urinal - so when all the guys at the conference went for a leak, they were peeing on his face!

If anyone is offended by the type of e-mail above, or feels they are getting "spammed" too much, again let me know and I will discuss with them at LAC this weekend. I'm meeting with them on Monday morning. (Let me know by Saturday night as I'm not taking my laptop to London).

Tell them that there is no point in marketing to you with bonus offers if you are still bonus banned. Tell them the bonus ban is the very reason you have been playing elsewhere for the past 8 months, and that you felt that you had been accused of wrong doing by CR, and this had tarnished the relationship.
