Hello everyone!
I have maybe a bit strange, but interesting question (for me). What is the main purpose(s) of having Casino Representative on public message board?
And how it will help Casino to build it's reputation?
Any reply will be very appreciated! Thank you :)

The main reason for a casino representative to become a member here is because this is not only a player's forum, but one for the online gaming industry. It gives the industry an eye, ear and voice to player thoughts and issues. It is not only customer support personnel that are members here, but CEOs, software developers, operators, and affiliate managers.

These members can offer insight and explanations to whatever the issue at hand is, and when it comes to complaints, they can assist in solving problems.

Also, with casino reps being in tune to players' needs, it can only (hopefully) make this industry a better place.

Hi
The obvious answer would be that casino reps are here to address any public issues, concerns or complaints, to clarify misunderstandings and, in general, offer quick - may be informal - help and advice. The faster rep reacts to an issue, the better for a concerned casino... may be it is too obvious or too naive an explanation though ;)

As the PAB guy I can tell you that the reps are the first point of contact for issues that may arise.

It can be a bit challenging for the casinos to extend themselves into the public space, which forums like ours are, so having one person assigned to that does, I suspect, work out best for the casinos in the long run.

From our point of view it's good too because it shows a commitment on their part to be ready, willing and able to deal with issues that our members may have. It's an extra level of professionalism that I for one wish more casinos would commit to.

Thank you for your answers :)
I also would like to hear opinions from another side - from Representatives :)

Roulette addict

I am surprised you are not banned from the casino you are playing at considering the "addict" you have to your name LOL
In case you missed the thread where some one's account was closed because he casually mentioned he was addicted to their poker game

Well, I used to play slots alot, but now I switched to Roulette, and made very-very nice profit from it. Using my strategy and 'hints' given by RNG (yes, it's true, when you are playing for a long time with one game at one casino, you can 'feel' or predict when one or another event will occur - bonus game, number on roulette, etc) I'm able to win couple of hundred bucks betting only 0.10$/spin. So I'm not 'addict' in the literal sense of the word, I consider myself as 'scrooge' just trying to get some money. I placed 'money' on the top place of my motivations to gamble. And I'm not trying to get fun for money, I'm trying to get money, and to get fun, when I'm getting money.
Sorry, a bit off-topic. :)

Hi Slotmonster,

Apart from the reasons mentioned above, from a representative point of view - this forum in particular is an excellent place to get a type of customer feedback that you cannot get from simply asking your customers.

There are some very experienced players that bless this forum with their knowledge and feedback, and in doing so present an opportunity for those that are trying to cater as much as possible towards the players.

The casinomeister community represents a cross section of the gaming audience, and most likely one that - because of casinomeister - is much more aware and demanding of the service they get from the casinos
they play at (and often rightfully so.). If interpreted with care, this makes feedback from this forum a useful measuring point.

Now as in quantum physics - schrodinger's principle applies - actively participating in this forum as a rep will influence the observation (magnifying glass effect) - and so you'll find few reps doing that (there's the occasional one that's just not bright enough ). There's a lot of info to be gained, but under the magnifier you'll have to deal with low strikes to.

Thanks Enzo.

I really appreciate those Casino Reps who venture into the fora. I know it takes courage at times since our members can be demanding...and they're pretty damn smart too (most of them at least). :p

RE: Casino/poker representatives

Hey there Slotmonster,

We at GamingRevenues.com think that CasinoMeister's forum is one of the few excellent places to find feedback and questions from customers. And we agree totally with Casinomeisters reply.

This community has indeed a huge audience like Enzo, said and because of the strength and knowledge that casinomeister has and serves their members, it is indeed a very good think for us representatives to ''lurk'' around here.

Good Afternoon SlotMonster,

Indeed, to reiterate the words of the Meister, the Casinomeister forum is a brilliant way for us to narrow the information gap and be readily available for our players and any other interested parties, and in turn, for us guys to be able to get in touch with you too!

It is true that there ought to be more reps around (can you imagine how many there would be if everyone stepped up!? :)) and hopefully in time this will be the case, as there already appears to be a good bunch of us.

Its enjoyable to keep track of what is on everyones minds and see a bit of character shine through too! In short, I think that rep-presence is a wholly positive aspect around these parts.

Furthermore, I think it keeps some reps up with the trends and topics floating about which otherwise may be missed.
Any vehicle that allows players and personnel alike to be productive about our equally cherished industry sounds good to me!

Just my 2 cents.

Best

Frank

Hi Slotmonster,
my reason to log into this forum every day is to sort out any small problems before they become big.
Others look at the weather forecast, i log in here to see if it will be a nice day or not.

All other reasons have been posted already above this post, nothing more to add.

Thanks

SlotMonster,

David Brickman here. Sometimes players will post things here that are somewhat factually inaccurate. (Yes, I know sometimes reps to do) I think one of the benefits the reps bring is being able to represent the side of the casino. To me its not a matter of taking sides but simply offering up a clear explanation of why a casino did a certain thing.

I for one believe the more transparency the industry has, the better off well all be. I am more than happy to shed light on issues, questions etc. If reps werent posting many times youd simply have theories from players but nothing straight from the horses mouth.
All the best,
