Hi All,
I am in Australia and have recently had most of my accounts closed due to the new legislation.
Today I received an email from Slots Magic (recently closed) advising me of a casino accepting Australian players; Casino Max. I checked them out, read the review on here, and decided to open an account. When registering, I got an error that an account was linked to my email address. Followed this up in chat and was told I have an account already which was opened on 13th September, two days ago. I did not open this account.
I believe Slots Magic and/or their affiliates have passed on my details to this new casino.
This is really concerning, massive breach of confidentiality :(

Hi Kelly,

I hope you are well. Thank you for the post.

There has been no breach of confidentiality as Slots Magic have partnered with us to ensure that players like you have continuity of play. Your details remain confidential.

I hope you will enjoy playing with CasinoMax. If you have any questions or concerns please PM me.

Kind Regards,

Hi Karolina,
Thank you for your reply. I am a little concerned that I did not agree to have my account moved to a new casino. All I received was an email from Slots Magic with a link to a casino accepting Australian players. I have no issue with that, happy to receive that information, but to already have an account there, when I had not signed up doesn't seem right to me.
I will still have a look at your casino, I just wanted to raise that maybe it would have been better to have obtained consent first from players who wished to have their details transferred to a new casino.
Thanks
Kelly

Unfortunately in all casinos you do sign up to there are certain rules to read. Boring stuff mostly.
Not just the T&C's but also Privacy Policy. I suggest you go in and read that so you'll know for the future that what happened here could happen again, and that you have agreed to it when you registered :)
