Rdog,

You are too kind. Casino Classic is pure fraud. They sent me an email invite telling me that I had £500 in free money to play with and I could play for an hour and win up to a max of $100. I accepted the offer and played and very quickly reached my threshold of $100 and tried to cash out. Entered my moneybookers account and all seemed okay. Waited 5 days and nothing. Contacted Casino Classic and they said I had to put in £20 of my own money and than play some more before I could cash out.

This is a pure scam. They never intended to pay any money out to ANYONE! They want your money and that is it. Would never even consider putting money into their company and play their games. How can I ever be sure that I will get paid on my winnings.

I play lots of other sites, but I WILL NEVER EVER play on CASINO CLASSIC and warn others not to risk it either. They are not reliable and there are too many other reputable sites to play on than to take a chance with such a sham operation!

ALL these "free play" promotions work like this. They don't tell the whole truth because you DON'T actually "win" anything, what you gain is a BONUS, for which you have to make a deposit. This bonus is then subject to further wagering before it can be cashed out.
If the WHOLE truth was in the main advertising, rather than buried in the small print, these promotions would not look anywhere near as good, and would attract fewer players.

Were the Terms and Conditions of the promotion deceptive Charlie? If so, could you post them here so we can see them and discuss?

I know this promo. It's not a case of being deceptive, but "economical with the truth".

The claim "keep your winnings" will be in BIG print, but the SMALL print will tell you that you can keep only 200 or even 100 of any winnings, and that by "keep", they mean "claim as your 1st deposit bonus". "keep" is also subject to the winnings being wagered according to standard bonus rules, usually 30x on slots.

These terms are not always obvious either, you often have to search high and low to find even the clickable LINK to this small print, as well as plough through pages of closely spaced "legalese", most of which has little to do with the ordinary player (rules such as license to use the software, not to decompile, export all or in part, make derivative applications thereof, etc). Somewhere in this lot will be the PROMOTIONAL terms, one set for each type of promotion, as well as the BONUS terms, and "general" terms.

An experienced player will know what to look for, and will not bother too much with the rest of the legalese (unless they are programming a bot:D).

I often get these offers by email, and they are VERY misleading, often presented as a fake cheque, and lines such as "if your name appears in the list below, you have won $500 at Casino <whatever>". Your name ALWAYS appears at number 4. (except when they have screwed up, when 4. is blank, and the other 4 are random made-up names).

Players are DELIBERATELY being mislead into believing this is free winnings they can KEEP right away, so often react with surprise when they DO win, and find out the two main hidden catches.

1) You have to deposit between $20 and $50
2) Your "winnings" have to then be wagered 30x on slots before anything (including the deposit) can be withdrawn.

CR keeps sending CDs to players who have never registered at any CR outfit. On a Finnish poker forum there were numerous poker players who were sent (usually Golden Tiger) cds even if they had never played at any online casino.

They were the standard x amount for free and keep your winnings crap. BTW exact text was: "Annamme sinulle 60 min aikaa ja 1500€ meidän rahoja, jotta voit voittaa niin paljon kuin ikinä pystyt". Which basically translates to: We give you 60 min and 1500€ of our money, so that you can win as much as you can.

CR bought out quite a few failed outfits. They will have gained player contact details from this. They will also avail themselves of marketing lists of players, and these could have been passed out by "rogue employees" of other casino groups. It seems there are a great many "rogue employees" in the industry that sell player contact details on to these CD marketing firms:rolleyes:

The vast majority were solely poker players, not casino players. And with no ties to anything related to CR. They must have bought a load of contact details from a big number of poker rooms.

And surprisingly its always CR that sends out these unsolicited spam CDs.

Well, it makes sense to cross market casinos to this list of poker players. Enough would be interested to make the effort worthwhile, but since these would be POKER players, they would NOT necessarily be experienced in how these casino promotions work, and thus could take the offer at face value, and feel ripped off later on.

They did also get a list of CASINO players from the 7 Casino Action casinos they took over, and two of these came to Casino Action from another group. This contact list could have encouraged them to take on the failed casinos. I understand they did NOT get the failed TUSK poker rooms because the deal fell through (or was blocked), leaving POKER players' in limbo, and with their funds lost. Casino Rewards, took on responsibility for players' CASINO funds as part of the deal for the casino side of the operation.

Most of the players only connection to MG was Ladbrokes Poker. Many didnt have any connection to MG at all.

CR was never interested in the poker skins. It was Cake, and they were only interested in Battlefield and RedNines. Majority of funds were at those two tough.

So, how did CR get player details from LADBROKES poker:confused: I thought Ladbrokes ran their own poker skin, just the same as they run their own MGS casino now.

CasinoRewards is sending lots of spam that may look like to the user that he has won real free cash. The Freeplay bonus itself is not the problem, but the way they present it. Like: 'Claim your 1000$ cheque'. For a newcomer it may seem he won real money, because to every normal man it means: go the to bank and claim it. But in fact it means: come, pay, and we give some more money. So it is not a surprise that many people becomes disappointed in the end.

I see loads of this, and CR have admitted to me that THEY are sending it, rather than a bunch of rogue affiliates. I once asked how to stop this spam, but keep my normal promotional emails. i was told it was impossible to do this, as deleting my email from the spam lists would also delete it from EVERYTHING. Hence it is THEIR list that drives EVERYTHING, and NOTHING to do with affiliates using spamming lists. This also explains why the emails come from a CR domain, rather than some random domain and random sender as is normally the case with spam.

Most now end up in my spam folder, but a few still make it through, and I know what the frequency of GENUINE promotions is, and also they can be found in the casino lobby, so it is not a problem of a few get caught up in the spam filter.

Their desire to spam has only caused spam filters to "learn" that most CR mailers are spam, which makes it HARDER for genuine communications to their players to get through.

Casino Rewards?

Im sure that what you win in the 60 minutes will be placed into your bonus account and then you need to make a minimum deposit. So it would look like this if you won 200.00 in the 60 minutes (200.00 + 20.00 x 30wr = 6,600.00 playthrough) and this is probally in the t&c's.

THIS IS NOT THE REASON FOR MY POST, PLEASE READ ON.(sorry for the caps, just wanted to get your attention.) The following is why I find Casino Rewards behavior to be rogued.
My mother has an account at a few of the groups casinos, and as you may know they have a program called "REWARDS RICHES" it's like a lottery, and You can buy tickets with casino credits as well as loyality points. winnings from this lottery are paid out in Loyality Points, Like most other casinos if you have enough loyality points you can redeem them for casino credits. Anyway, My mom won 2 drawings in a row for 25.00 each. the first time she won, she redeemed them with no problem, however on her second win when she tried to redeem them she got the following message.

We regret to inform you that your use of promotional chips has been temporarily suspended.

Unfortunately, due to promotional abuse in the past, the casino has been forced to take precautionary steps to ensure that players do not take advantage of promotional offers without ever risking their own funds.

To exchange your points for casino chips simply deposit and play at any of your Casino Rewards partner casinos. Your points should be available to you soon!

If you feel you have reached this page in an error or if you have any questions please contact our 24 hour, 7 days a week call center either by email at support@casinorewards.com or through our toll free numbers.

Remember these are from Loyality Point redemptions and not from FREE BONUSES. It's like say you had 3,000 loyality points and you cashed them in for 30.00 dollars, and had a good run and played through 30,000 dollars worth of spins which would accumalate 3,000 back in loyality points, You then go to redeem Your loyality points and they say you cant do it because you did not make a purchase between loyality point redemptions. Does this seem fair to anyone? Please let Me know what You think.

Thanks in advance for any input/insight you may offer me.

This is the usual BS they spew out to non-VIP players.

Solution - formal complaint to Kahnawake.

Simply having accounts at several casinos in the group is NOT "bonus abuse", but something they go to great lengths to encourage.

There seems little logic in what triggers this blocking of the rewards account, and many players have said that continuing to "show loyalty" by continuing to deposit DOES NOT WORK, it is a trick.

Following a complaint to Kahnawake, uninstall their casinos and deposit elsewhere.

Wait a couple of months.

Reinstall one, and check rewards account - should be unblocked:D

Kahnawake are better now, but when this happened to me they DID reply, and said they would pass my complaint to Casino Rewards, who had 2 weeks to reply. They didn't reply, BUT when I reinstalled a casino I found they had unblocked my rewards account. I redeemed my points, played (and lost), and uninstalled it again. It stayed that way for over 2 years, and I defected to Casino Action. When Casino Rewards took over Casino Action, first partly, and then completely, they saw my defection had cost them £600,000 in gross deposits, and even more in the way of "action".
I now have a personal VIP account manager:D I have NEVER had my rewards account locked since then, but if they DO lock it again, they will suffer the SAME response as they did last time, and I am sure Red Flush will be happy with the diversion of the "action" over to them. Red Flush have a similar bonus structure to Casino Rewards, regular 20% to 30% bonus, but they have higher limits than at CR. CR only has something "unique" with it's "rewards riches" system.

You should not really BUY tickets, there are many promotions that offer them as part of a deposit promotion. All winnings from these draw tickets are BONUS chips, rather than cash that can be withdrawn.

Although unconfirmed, the rewards account may lock automatically when the lifetime total of points granted exceed a certain multiple of total deposits. This multiple is probably less than 1, and may take into account large withdrawals. This formula is "secret", so maybe they fear it could be manipulated;)
