Casino Calzone - Thoughts?

Good evening peeps.

I just wanted to know peoples thoughts on Casino Calzone. From what I can tell, it's a pretty good looking casino run by a respectable bunch. Just signed up a few days ago, deposited £200, and was VERY fortunate to win in excess of £2000! Withdrawals were processed on Friday late, so hopefully I'll receive my winnings soon.

Anyhoo, I just wanted to get others input.

Cheers big ears!

Yes, good lot, have met them at trade shows and cannot really find any negatives from feedback I have seen.

Just received my winnings. 1 day. Not bad considering I'm with a crappy bank. Yep, all feedback looks good (apart from on that so-called review site, Trustpilot) I just like to get further confirmation from the ONLY casino review/forum site I trust

Documents approved. Jobs a good 'un

I didn’t mind them withdrawls within half an hour and in bank within the hour, then they decided to put a thing on account which wouldn’t allow me to be logged in for longer than 90 mins a day then they said they would remove that but put a loss limit on account of £300 found the whole ordeal a let down and have rarely deposited there since. Was showing no signs of problem gambling and it pissed me off that they took it upon themselves to insinuate that I had a problem

Funny you mention this as they have just done the exact same thing to me. Why do they get to dictate what people spend. Like you, I'm not a problem gambler. I do however like to deposit in £20 increments. I can do this up 20 times some days. So perhaps that looks bad to them and so feel like they are protecting me in some way. I don't need protecting. If ever I thought things were getting out of hand, I set deposit limits myself. But because they took it upon themselves to this without consulting me, I now cannot play until next month.

I also find the near constant reminders telling me how long I've been playing, intrusive & irritating. There's promoting responsible gambling, then there's spamming people with near constant pop-ups. So yea, as you say Luckyscouser.........withdrawals are fast, but setting limit loss's on account without consulting the player is B.S. I doubt I'll be back.

Just some 'balancing' to keep things fair: this is one of the very few Casinos out there i tried, that seemed excellent at first but quickly turned out to be one of the worst user-experiences i had, and literally made me feel like the whole support/verification staff was a bunch of clowns trolling me or severely incompetent..both options unacceptable. Needless to say i self exluded there asap.

Was very surprised as they had ties to the GUTS group (iirc), which i hold up to having a high standard.
Just to clear up, i made a small profit there, on my first deposit, then gave back a little, trying out the loyalty scheme, and that's where things started to go sour. I wanted to verify my account (and that is after i was paid the first WD) and in that process i encountered the most infuriating back and forth i had in years :what:

Mind you, i've been around and before i found CM and knew what i was doing i even tried all the rogue outfits, so i am 'used' to bad experiences..but this really baffled me.

Perhaps they are good now, but at that point in time (a month or 3 after they just launched) it was extremely lacking in the abovementioned departments (support/verification)

Just glad i found out before i played back my winnings..

Also the calzone wheel is a joke 5 spins every single time piss take when building it up to then get 5 shitty spins on spin town which coincidentally are always 9/10 5 dead spins on the bounce!!!

My experience was similar. I was fortunate to win way beyond my deposits totalling £200. I made 2 withdrawals of £300 without an issue.....no documents needed. But on my third withdrawal of £1500, they wouldn't authorise it until I sent in my docs. Fine, I thought. So I sent everything they asked for. It was a full 24 hours until they got back to me. This time asking for yet more documents. Again, I sent these in. It was at that point I started to worry that they would keep demanding more & more documents so I feared I would never see my £1500. But after I sent the final piece of documentation, the withdrawal was authorised and in my bank.

I have experienced my fair share of rogue outfits and worried Calzone were one. I even went into live chat to say I hoped they weren't. I eventually got all my withdrawals, so no worries. What bothers me now is I have to send in yet more docs in order to increase my loss limit! Arghhh!

I thought it was cool pinnit till they slapped me on a 90 min session without even speaking to me then all the messing round removing it to then add a loss limit. Jokers. Left a sour taste. Shame as well Cos I’ve had £1k payouts within half an hour from them. I just stick to PP now

I experienced this at the weekend while playing through a bonus and had to wait until the next day to carry on and the momentum was gone and i bust out quickly.I have changed the minutes now to 240 in a 24 hour period but its still a load of crap to tell people how long they can play. Its one of my regular casinos though.

Well I was pleasantly surprised to log-in tonight & find £5 sitting in my account. Better than nothing. Maybe I will play here again.....from time to time.

I had bonus amount of £20 to play with.

Dont know how as i have not had £200 losses this week so pleasantly surprised. If this is the new format for Cals Home Delivery then i prefer it.

Also went through the whole restriction questioning and time limit but after a bit of back and forth all was removed,

I cant knock them as every single slot is max RTP also, which for me, trumps most things as long as i can get my withdrawals which have never been an issue for me.

I still have nothing there despite receiving another text message saying I had qualified for this week's offer.
I also got the email just now about qualifying for this weeks offer. I think what happened is they made a mistake and paid too much and pulled the plug yesterday quickly as I read above bamber got £20 which would equal quite a few loss to get £20 back I may be mistaken though. She give me goodwill spins but the issue is still ongoing as I’ve not received no bonus 10% loss yet, I thought the losses were 5% back not 10

Interesting the spins were only worth 10p :( they show no signs of resolving it. It’s not a lot but it’s the point of accruing it and being emailed to login for it all they say is we have yet to find a resolution and she only gave me the spins because I said to her how come other people have had there’s she then came back with the spins she checked my account and said there’s no resolution I might go back to chat to ask what the amount was x

Did they ask you for extra documents to remove the loss limit?

Just checked the email chain (surprised outlook came up with the goods - their search facility is pants for me) and i had no problem with the limit they applied anyway. Its way above my pay grade and last weeks deposits were unusual for me. No extra docs were requested unless i asked for that to be increased.

I asked if their team were now asking me to focus and condense my play time into 90 minutes and how i felt that would have a negative impact on my play. Not sure if they took that into consideration but i answered their questions and all seems ok since. Not actually sure if they removed the limit but im pretty sure ive had a session over that time since as i recall getting the 60 minutes pop up a couple of times.

So seems i have got a loss limit but its way above my pay grade anyway.

Here is the answer I was given on livechat

Thank you, yes the SMS on Saturday was sent due to a technical error. You did not have net losses of £100 or more last week to qualify for that, however I will add some spins as compensation. The other SMS simply informs that you are qualified for this weeks Cals Delivery which goes on from today to Friday, and if your net losses are £100 or more during the week you will get 10% cashback on Saturday. You do not have to do anything as you are already opted in to this promotion.

I got 20 spins on Gonzos Quest as compensation. Won £3 from them and bust out on wagering!
