Who is planning on attending the CAC next month Amsterdam?

This event sounds like it is going to be quite small this year in comparison to previous years. However for the first time since 2007 I will be there, having missed 2008 due to the birth of my son and 2009 as I couldn't warrant attending.

Amsterdam is a great place and I have found the CAC a perfect conference to meet with operators and other webmasters.

If you planning on going, please indicate in this thread as it would be great to meet up. I know that Bryan and Simmo! are also planning on going.

as im planning to become a webmaster, and setting up my own site, im not really eligible at the moment yet, but i think this would be great as learning experience, also i would love to meet some of you guys..
(i feel like i know some of you already since i was lurking for 4 years)
any possibillity for me to register somewhere?
or come as an introducee?
i could return for it with some great dutch tours, or even some dutch "souvenirs" or both :)

You can register on the CAC Site which I have linked to in a previous post. To be able to attend, you either have to pay to attend or be sponsored by an affiliate program.

I have as of yet not been sponsored. I have indicated in my registration which I sent off yesterday, that I am not willing to be sponsored by any program I currently do not promote. This may mean I won't therefore get sponsored and therefore be unable to attend the conference floor or the sessions - As I do not want to be paired up with a program I have no intention of working with :). But I plan to arrange meetings regardless.

It is definately worth popping down if you are local and I am sure you can meet up with the likes of myself and others even if you do not register.

To all affiliate programs that I work with currently, please send me a PM if I work with you and you want to sponsor me ;) - I'll give you good exposure for a couple of week in return

Aww come on Dave...I hear Gambling Wages is handing out Platinum type sponsorships, with a side trip to Costa Rica thrown in. Surely you could make an exception for that? Just think of the money you'll save.

I will be there and have to fly in early due to the way the stupid flights are set up :( Anyone else there on the 13th let me know please so we can hang out:thumbsup: Will be fun..oh oh please say there will be a cage :D

people that come in early, pm me where youre staying if you like, and ill come by to show you some good stuff in amsterdam ^^
in exchange i will have some chit chat about my plans, or some general tips on webmastering, setting up sites, affiliate business.
dont worry, i am a man of reason and fair trade:P

Sadly, not arriving at all :( Got meetings at work which absolutely cannot be avoided.

Hopefully I will still make it to Prague, though... webzcas you should seek special permission for that trip! :D

Shame you won't be there Spear :(

As for Prague, I had to do a lot of planning and hoop jumping to be able to make Dam....

Well, I'm getting ready to head out the door. Looks like it's going to be rather quiet.

For those of you who want to chit chat - I'm giving a presentation at 3:30 tomorrow on Gaining and Maintaining Player trust...check the schedule.

Left Holland this morning a day late having had my flight cancelled yesterday. Currently on the train in France heading to Dunkirk. Many thanks to Wael from Box24 Casino, who has arranged for myself and Alex to go in his car so we can catch the ferry tonight. This CAC will certainly be well remembered!
Good going

We caught a train after a three + hour wait for tickets, and we were early. The train station was a mad house. After we had booked our seats, the line was a good 100 meters long, 3-4 people across. I'm sure there are people still waiting to get out of there.

BTW - this is the first time I flew there. I always take the train

Well i was there by car.

I haven't seen this guy

You could have take the cruise ship AIDAblu which parked for one day behind our hotel, but it's already expired on friday morning and would be also too expensive. :smilewink:

Big big big thank you to Wael from Box24 Casino. Not only did he get us on the ferry at dunkirk. But he then dropped Alex off home in London, then drove me home to my door just outside Bath.

He then had to drive up to Manchester.

What an absolute top gesture and brilliant thing to do. It meant so much as well as it is my son's 2nd birthday today and means I have not missed any of it. :D
