Dear Cantor Casino Customer,

Cantor Gaming Malta One Limited has taken the decision to cease providing services to retail customers. Effective from 1 pm on 28th November 2008, Cantor Casino will cease to accept new customers and will take no further wagers.

From now on, Cantors gaming interests will focus on wholesale markets with the licensing of its proprietary technology, software, content, intellectual property and data to online casino operators and resort-based casino operators, the latter following extensive trials and the authoritiesapproval of its eDeck mobile gaming device in Nevada. As such, a decision has been taken to scale back the retail-oriented gaming businesses in the United Kingdom and focus on core wholesale market operations around the world.

Any funds that you have on deposit with us remain totally secure and can be redeemed by customers at any time. In order to withdraw your funds, please contact our customer services by e-mail service@cantorcasino.com, and funds will be returned in the course of normal business.

We are sorry for any inconvenience that this will cause and would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your past business and support over the years.

If you have any queries about this announcement please contact customer services.

Just got an email saying all funds had been returned to Neteller this morning and sure enough they were.

This is a sad day. I always liked Cantor and found their service to be about the best around. They were a class act.

Cantor and Red lounge - R.I.P.

Sheesh! Well that's nice to know.

And I had just spoken to these guys over the phone a few weeks ago, and they were all excited about getting on board at Casinomeister.

I feel like the red-headed step child.

Now that's what's important here!

These guys are ready to jump on in, fill in and cash in on the market that MGS have made PERMANENTLY available here in the States.

We all knew someone would..... so instead of worrying about the "unscrupulous entities" that will no doubt pop up, just like they always have done and will. This Guy has plans and big plans!.

We have quality casinos?..... check
We have location, location, location?......check
We make Franchise? Check, check, check, check, CHECK!

If the above comment from DiamondGeezer along with the the email Cantor and Red Lounge sent out to players is any indication of a splatter of professionalism... then we could very well find ourselves hitting the Jackpot instead of coming up craps.

Actually I'd say there's not a chance in Hades that Cantor would ever endanger their land-based gaming partnerships, licenses and operations (to say nothing of Cantor Fitzgerald's finance focus) by making their software available to operators wanting to take US bets.

I very much doubt that any licensing will enable US customers.

Woooof

Absolutely right. I went to talk to them a short time ago and they said exactly that. They have to be whiter than white to maintain their Nevada licence. Now they have this eDeck mobile gaming deal tied up, I suspect this decision is all tied in to protecting that. It's a major deal.
