Can't seem to win anywhere!

I had a really good run a few months back where it seemed I couldn't do anything but win, but then as per usual I have hit a bad run, doesn't matter which casino I play at, which slot I use, just can't bloody win. Small stakes too, have tried upping them when I get a decentish win but it just vanishes. What are you supposed to do when it turns like this? It's like I know every single deposit will be gone and I'm just waiting for the RTP gods to flip. Has anyone else felt it like this sometimes? I'm not one of the ones who says oh the slots don't pay these days, I've had some great wins of late, but it doesn't feel like you get a fair balance, it seems like either massive X wins or balance sucking deposits! Rant over

All gamblers go through bad spells, it's the nature of the beast.

I just give the slots a rest for a week or two when they dry up..and never chase my losses.

That's true, but you need a good run to make it feel worthwhile! I deposited £40 a few weeks back, withdraw £250, but just feels pointless because you know that £250 will just be gone again! I try to treat each deposit as entertainment and not chase, but when each deposit goes and your balance doesn't go over the deposit amount you know it's just futile!

Had a spell in the middle of the year that felt almost as though the games were faulty. Not nice when your deposits go in less than an hour.

My advice if you dont fancy a break, for what its worth, is change the slots your playing.

Either go old school on some low volatility Netents or stuff you dont play so much anymore or get some inspiration from the threads.

Last week i saw DreamRJ posting in the VS thread. Popcorn ready i often check his posts because of their passion and I was surprised to find he was recommending Katmandu Gold. I like the Gold series by Elk but was not aware it was out. I hit it and landed a nice win and withdrawal.

(Been meaning to say thanks for that one @DreamRJ )

The amount of times ive got inspiration from CM is unbelievable and i attribute much of my slot tekkers to it. Doesnt always work but it takes the pressure off. They can all pay and ive had some nice surprises.

Oh and one piece of advise that i dont always follow is if its draining the balance - get out! Do some hit and runs instead of bonus hunts, the bonuses will still come. Play the balance, not the slot.

But yes, its probably just bad luck :p

I was the same , fantastic winning run then nothing paying anywhere, close to losing everything i won, I took a 14
day break at one casino and set a low deposit limit at the only other one i play at, did the the trick.
It made me much more careful with my game selection and stakes, stopped the rot and I am slowly building up again.
When you get a rare extended winning run it can make you feel invincible which messes you up when you hit a losing
run,you are so used to winning you expect it to come right.

Thanks and yeah I do play old slots on occasions to try change my fortune. But it is rare. Also where is my cut hahaha. Joke of course :D

Welcome to the club! I've had this happen countless times.
The most memorable recent one was a £400 deposit I did at Videoslots in August that I turned into over £14,000!
But in mid-September it felt like a switch flipped and all I could do was lose, lose, lose :(
I did cash-out £8,000 but the rest just slowly frittered away.
What are you supposed to do when it turns like this?
Best thing is to take a break. Never EVER chase your losses.
Or if you don't want to take a break, do as others have suggested and play different games.

Yes! (All too often)

To be fair, if we didn't get the massive X wins from time to time we probably wouldn't gamble at all. That is the thrill we all seek.
But remember, all those big X wins have to be "paid for" by losing spins +4%, so long barren spells are inevitable.

Hope your luck turns in the right direction before Christmas!

It happens to everyone, sometimes it lasts weeks sometimes months, and in my case......years. It's been nearly 2 years since I've made any kind of decent cashout. I can make a deposit and hit a little bit (maybe 50% of my deposit) then it will just be sucked back into the slots in a matter of minutes.
I've had some great 5 figure cashouts on and off for the last 10 years, but the last 2 years I'm running at a huge loss and can never get anything going. I guess it will change eventually, that's why I still play.

Out of interest how did you manage to flip £400 to that amount? Was it one deposit or multiple?

You lucky guy, I have lost tons of 10k$ at low bet between 0.2-1.5 , games providers such pragmatic play and play n go just sh*t always took 90% of my money.

Just one deposit. I'm not the sort of player to make multiple deposits - I don't normally do more than 1 or 2 per month to the same casino.
I don't really know why, but I've ended up with most deposits being £400 - though sometimes I do less.
I play slots usually with £2 spins, though on some games I do bet higher or lower than that occasionally.

If you look though winner screenshots for August & September you can see my big wins that helped me reach that amazing balance.
These were some of the best ones (in order hit):
