A couple of days ago, I got an email from Neteller that said I can't use my Net+ card in NZ any more. I stll can have Neteller account, and I can deposit into Neteller account, I can transfer funds to casino from Neteller account, but I can't use Net+ card any more. The email said I can use "bank transfer" to get the funds in my account.

Seriously? Only reason I use Neteller on online casino is I can access to my winning quickly, most good casino's withdrawal process with Neteller is really fast and I could use that money right away with Net+ card, Neteller's bank wire process time is 5-10 days, and most good casinos does bank wire transfer much quicker than that.

The casino does Bank transfer quicker than Neteller, there is no live chat on Neteller, and according to a few post here Neteller never respond the customer's email comparing to most casino has live chat and responds emails promptly which means there is no reason for me to use Neteller any more.

One thing I don't understand is to make people use Net+ card they don't need any financial establishment here, many people are using a credit/debit card that is issued overseas here in NZ. I really don't understand why they make this change.

Anyway, bye bye Neteller.

Hope they can close my account without much hassle.

They did mention that they will bring it back in time but when? I will still keep mine open for a while and see what happens.

Was there a reason why they stopped it? no explanation just that we can't use it :(

Dear Harald,

We regret to inform you that as of 25 November 2016, we will no longer offer the Net+ Prepaid MasterCard® service in your country. You will not be able to use your card but your NETELLER Account remains fully functional and your balance is unaffected. You can withdraw funds from your NETELLER Account to your bank account or send money to any other NETELLER user or online business accepting NETELLER.

If you have any questions, please visit our website and FAQ page.

Regards,
The NETELLER Team

They seem to be cutting off quite a few countries. I hardly used them in the past years, only for casinos that do not take EcoPayz and that has been only Rizk for the past 6 months.

Use Ecopayz where you can, cheaper, has LiveChat, multiple currencies account, Debit Card for each currency, etc.

So it looks like they close Net+ service in many countries.

Does it has something to do with people are charged twice for one transaction? There are a few posts about that I think.

They might found a huge error on their Net+ card system maybe.

Anyway, whatever it is, hope they can bring the Net+ card back soon, and I really hope they can bring "live chat" back too. When I joined them there was "live chat" that I used a few times, and the all CS I have talked to were really professional and helpful, I don't understand why they got rid of Live chat.

Same for SA

Yip South Africa is also one of the countries that they cutting off. I got the news last week but they are prepared to allow me to keep the card if I can verify my proof of residence and ID for Greece as I have a South African and Greek passport and am often between the two the countries, so I may just do that but have to renew my EU passport which will take about a three months but I agree with Harry about using Ecopayz which I also have an account with and the Eco Master Card so all good there, the only one problem with ecopayz is the limited amount of casinos that have them as payment option well for me anyway out of 10 casinos I play at only three have ecopayz as an option :what:

Odd, I don't see Ecopayz at Guts, am I missing something?

Country specific, Canadians have it because they don't have Neteller. Casinos will do their best to keep the money flowing.

When i asked Yits if he could activate it for me (TH), he just laughed it off....i would be pushing it. Never heard back from him.

Since they are on the MT Securtrade platform i hazard a guess that all casinos on that platform can offer it, if they want.

I agree, VS and V&J have it for Dutch players, so why shouldn't Guts - and of course for players from TH too:D

I wanted to change the currency that my Neteller account uses and they told me I had to close my account and open a new one (that was the only way to change my currency). So I did all that and hello! Issues galore. My id wasn't good enough (yet it was fine when I opened my original account), this and that. This and that. Problem after problem. Even offered to send them scans of my old neteller card, just wasnt good enough

Now I know they wont even let us kiwi's use the neteller card anymore? Im not even gonna bother pushing it. They must be trying to push out New Zealanders :)

So thoughts of moneybookers? :p

Skrill Is Netellers equally ugly sister, and the service of Skrill in my experience is one notch worse that Netellers, I'm from South Africa and experienced the same thing as you my All Black Brother, seems like they have written off the southern hemisphere , Ecopayz is worth checking out , supports multiple currencys all available in your one account with 3 Mastercards you can order and the first one you order is free , 3 currencys for the cards ; € $ £
They very good and They have supports via live chat , email and call, only negative is lack of merchants compared to those terrible twin sisters

Skrill has an ATM card too, don't know though if they provide it in NZ.

The other option is EcoPayz.

Same I am considering leaving Neteller for something else like Ecopayz

Same I am considering leaving Neteller for something else like Ecopayz, I am furious they have stopping +Net physical card and virtual card altogether. That is so inconvenience now. They have had Net card for years but its disappointed they are stopping it.

More and more negative stuff about Neteller over the Internet. Seems like when they aware the negative consequences of their new policy, they will buy ecopayz:)
