Bovada-Not accepting deposits from NJ

To me this is a good thing.

After clamoring for years that we want legalized on-line gaming now it's here and I feel residents in States where it becomes legalized must support it in order for it to prosper.

I can not see any reason why someone who lives in NJ would want to deposit at Bovada or any other unregulated casino. I have fee-free, trouble-free deposits and withdrawals, great CS and games from top providers along with keeping the money in our own Country. All the horror stories about how bad it would be when regulation kicked in are all proving to be non-issues.

From a lifelong resident of New Jersey I say Thank You, Bovada.

Title says it all. My account is blocked from deposits-contacted customer service, and was informed that currently Bovada cannot accept NJ customers in preparation of entering the us market.

That sucks, especially if you liked playing there.

I believe it will still be a while before entering the US market, because a majority of the casinos will be linked to Land Based casinos. All the red tape is a greuling process, and actually they will never get this accomplished while accepting deposits through the US at all. Obviously the Fed looks at what they are doing now as not Legal.

I think one of the main reasons they would not accept deposits in NJ any longer is because it is now that there are online casino operating Legally, they now have significant exposure. The casinos that operate legally would have made it a nightmare for Bovada.

I wonder if Bovada operates the casino or at least the Poker legally in NV.

My reason is that my desktop is geo-blocked; the ipp address is registering Connecticut because of my cable company.

Watch this space, Ultimate Casino should have a solution for you very, very soon. We know that some customers who are legitimately in NJ were unable to be geolocated, and have been working hard to come up with solutions that still meet the regulations, but allow more people to play.

I will post into this forum when it is available, and hopefully it will work for you.

Bovada are not licensed in Nevada or anywhere in the US for any product.
