I personally see the attraction to bonanza it’s a fast moving, exciting, colourful, addictive slot. The problem is the addictive part. I play bonanza every session but I have 1 golden rule I walk away when I have lost 75x my stake. Maybe sooner if I am pretty sure the game is dead. The only times I do over a thousand spins without a bonus are when I hit the steady base game mode that seems fairly regular but seems to negate the chance of gold appearing. I have said it before I know but bonanza is no different than any other slot can be it just gets the scrutiny because of the attention it receives. If we all decided to sit on any game you care to name and play thousands of spins through it we would have a very similar thread. You have to remember if we can believe what we are told most slots pay in the mid to high 90’s percentage wise so long term 1 shouldn’t be better or worse than another. It’s how they pay that percentage that counts I understand but even games like DOA paying wild lines will be compensated somewhere by thousands of people hitting sub x20 bonus rounds. The way slots have always made their money is through people sitting there mindlessly playing a dead slot thinking their chance of winning is always the same. It most certainly IS NOT and online gambling just the same as FOBTS is set up perfectly to capitalise on this.

They are very rare but you weren’t rewarded by the result. Disappointing is an understatement. Personally I don’t think it matters how you trigger the bonus i.e if it had just showed GOLD you would have won the same amount. As I think bonus rounds are predetermined. It would be nice if hitting 4 or 5 scatters on games actually meant something but on most it doesn’t. Just like retriggers how many times does a game just kill most of the extra spins. Big bad wolf is a classic example of this. I have reached the 3rd house (winsx2) with 12+ spins left about 10 times only to go into death mode and win £2 or £3 for them. Great game but terribly programmed regarding that scenario.
 
I personally reckon that they have a Microsoft '97 Excel Spreadsheet with every single players exact returns for every spin for the next 20 years drawn up.

Well, I had my first deposit in 3 weeks, a little £50 and played this bastard at 40p spins.

On the 299th. spin was the first time I even saw an 'L' !!!
My first spin was my best, paid 19.2x
Had the obligatory 'odds' G-O-L on reels 1,3,5 and about 20 spins later the 'evens' G-O-L on reels 2,4,6 and in between that had them on 1,2,4 once.
Was down to £2.46 when I got the funny trigger with G-O on reel 1 and L on reel 4 and the D dropped on reel 1 so I had 3 scatters there. The win triggering this feature paid £3.24 which it transpired would be the biggest win in the feature altogether.

Spin 1 awarded 3 3-reel shitters but it did get my multiplier up to 3x.
Spin 2 awarded 2 3-reel shitters but it did get my multiplier up to 5x.
Cue FIVE fucking dead spins.
Spin 8 3-reel shitter twice so ended up on 7x
Spin 9, 10 DEAD.
Spin 11 4-reel kings combo for around 3 quid.
Spin 12 DEAD.

End result was a knacker under 25x for the entire feature of which nearly a third was the triggering spin.

Boy, have I not missed this game! :(

P.S. A few minutes later BUST and that coup de grace was administered by when my balance was 4.82 and I bowed out with TWELVE bastard dead spins.
 
If I had triggered those 22 spins after my last 13 bonuses and it paid that I would have smashed every part of my computer to bits. That return is disgusting I dont care if results predetermined make them good results. To programme a game to pay out that low on a rare trigger is just pure bullshit.
 
It really isn't.

Bonanza and Donuts will do this, and it won't be that rare, thanks to their stupid feature frequency. And they'll keep on doing it, as long as people keep feeding them money. Both of these slots mess with your head because the feature trigger is so rare, so the player builds it up in their mind almost thinking it HAS to be good, but of course it doesn't have to be good at all, and can be just as awful as any other slot, including a zero pay.

This was the last tussle I had with them, it was enough to make me decide not to play them again. And indeed, I haven't played them since, and have enjoyed my slotting a lot more. (This was at the start of July.)

(Skip to 1h09m for the end of the session, and to hear how thoroughly fed up with them both I was. You know how to stop feeling like that? Stop playing Bonanza and Donuts.)

Bonanza is a great game. Donuts I am not that keen on but like I posted above if you sit there hoping when these slots are cold they will whip you every time just like any other.

I am more than happy to check this for you as I am 100% sure on the casinos where I played this crap slot the RTP will be under 85% on each and every one of them.
Last time I checked my lifetime RTP on Videoslots for this slot it was something in the range of 78%.

BTG slots are horrible, period!

They rip 1000's of bankrolls to bits to pay 1 lucky fekker that insane win that this slot apparently is capable of.
 
Just put £50 in a new account at Freakyvegas. Played £1 a spin, got a 67x and 85x feature, raised to £2 when at 170 quid, G-O-L-D straight in, 300 quid by the 11th spin. 11th spin series of smaller wins, multiplier up to 18x and 4-scatter retrigger lined up. Dead spin then 6x5OAK diamonds on 18x for 5.5K. Ended up bonus at 3.5k-ish x bet. Video to follow.....

is that what we have come too, to except payouts like that, again that s disgusting. as great as dunovers hit is, it be another 2years before we see another. so game generally should churn out decent bonuses. but all im seeing is gash like that.

My samples are way too small too, I understand that bloody well. :-)
But it is on all casinos where I have played BTG slots that my RTP is way below the average.
It is an utter joke. I have played a couple of thousand of spins and Bonanza and Donuts are behaving the same on each and every casino I have played them.
Long streaks with no free spins and when they trigger pay 0x-20x ish.

Only BTG slots I did come out on top are DHV (I admit, I love this slot) and White Rabbit (Sheer luck with a monster hit on one of my first features on it).

I did twice:(. I personally think bonus rounds are either limited in ratio to stake or the chance of getting more than x500 is one in 1,000,000. I was thinking about it earlier and I don’t know how many bonus rounds I have had in total ever (all games))but apart from 1 at x1,100 my next best is about 10 at x500 then probably in the region of 40 at x200ish and about 5,000 at x50 or less. A bit of a predictable pattern for something random.

Still counting.

Not only is not possible to hit the feature anymore, but also all-ways spins have disappeared.

Time to stop this stupid way to waste my money.

Anyway, I think what BTG did with this last update (on my market, at least) is unfair. A shame.

Looking for a new girlfriend, possibly living in Scandinavia or UK.

playing my VIP points, after 251 spins I finally hit a feature. Count stops at 8389 spins.
Feature paid 32X.
Still no all-ways spins (I mean during base game of course).

Trying to cash-out TWENTY EUROS. (!!!!!!)
Casino is in delay with the payment, but I can understand it. They are still shocked a player hit the feature, no time to process payments.

Immediately after this hige amount of money (20€) will hit my neteller account, I'll close the casino account.
