Yes, Bonanza will do this, and will do it fairly regularly, because its average feature frequency is 1 in 460 spins whereas most slots generally run at something like 1 in 150-200 spins.

Having 1/460 as an average feature frequency means that Bonanza can and will go far more more than that on a regular basis. Play Bonanza in anger for any length of time and you'll have it go 2000-3000 spins without a feature from time to time, and this is entirely normal and to be expected.

The alleged 'payback' that Bonanza offers for this is that its average feature pay is around 100x stake, which is quite a bit more than slots generally run to. (But of course it regularly pays far less than 100x stake.)

From memory I once went about 1300 spins on a slot at 3Dice that had an average feature frequency of 1/160, that same bad luck on Bonanza would have seen me waiting 3737 spins for a feature.

I honestly think a lot of comments in this thread about Bonanza and its feature trigger behaviour are folks not fully appreciating what an insanely high feature frequency Bonanza has, and the knock-on effect that has on random numbers doing horrible things, but entirely expected things, as a result of that.
