Yes, since max win ever in this slot is 5000x, they didnt want to risk someone winning 50,000 and bankrupt them!

There is no update from Dan’s meeting with BTG, or comment from BTG as to why the max bet is constantly dropping on all megaways slots (now at 5 and 4), but min bet is not dropping from the 0.20. The way this is going in a month max and min bet will both be 0.20.

IMHO, my concerns about how is it ok with RG regulations to accept a bet but only pay 250k from what that bet won, were heard from BTG, some regulatory authority, or both. So what they do is run billions of simulations and every time a game produces a win higher than 250k they drop the max bet in half and continue the simulations.
The reason they don’t drop the min bet also is quite simple. Players won’t be losing their money fast enough.

The worst part is the false advertising. They say "unlimited potential" but the biggest win worldwide is only 5000x and they dropped max bet to 5 to make sure there is 0 potential for big wins.
At the same time they don't drop the min bet of 0.20 because they want low rolers to lose their deposit before they hit bonus round.

We have seen how this and all megaways behave. If game gets hot they don't want players ro make bets of 10 or 20.
When max bet drops again I will never play BTG again in my life and so will almost everybody and their slots will die.
