Yeah it does hit for me sometimes but maybe one in fifty times I’m playing it- the rest it just annihilates a balance
Given how active the thread was earlier in the year compared to now it seems the others are of the same opinion.
I haven't spun it very much at all. When I've been feeling a BTG I've gone with More Turkey instead in the hopes of landing something special in the base game.
Instead the game has absolutely destroyed me, way worse than Bonanza is.
I'll still use Bonanza for wagering stuff though I haven't had any kind of offers like that for a while, probably the April tax hikes killed off any chances of those deals anymore.
It's funny how we all ended up repeating the same thing over and over in the end. Reckon we're all bored of doing it now.
@thediro with the early bonuses and low return, you not being able to bonus it after a lot of spins and me flip flopping whether I actually like the slot or not to thinking the base game is decent.
Then you had the older members dropping in to say it's a crap or decent slot, everyone gives it a spin and updates the thread. They're probably bored of doing it too
I still play it every session but no point posting the same thing in here, I don't want to bump the thread once it goes of the new section unless it's for something worth it.
I'm surprised you went for More Turkey over Extra Chilli. I don't play them much but Extra Chilli always plays better for me whenever I do.
I like Chilli too but my issue is the bonus buy coins. RTP is locked behind this 'free' feature. So you're forced into a longer session to fully unlock it or leave it be and have to come back another time (at risk of it resetting) or lose out a chunk of RTP.
Any game with progression in the base game is a big no no for me. I want to be able to do as many or as few spins as I like with the same headline RTP.

Makes sense. I only play on uk sites so the bonus buy part isn't there.
Gave both a spin tonight after posting. Didn't bonus either one but Extra Chilli did play better for me as usual. Not sure why tbh, they're similar enough but More Turkey just plays more dead in the base game and bonuses less than bonanza for me!
Like I said though I barely play either so can't complain too much.

Think it took about half an hour to get it, dropped about a tenner to get it.
Its a shame, but the game doesnt perform anywhere near what it used to, its been absolutely annihilated to the point of redundancy...

The game started well - i loved the over all experience with you guys and this thread, but after absolute smashing so many other slots and seeing ACTUAL returns to the point i can withdraw, it just became a bitter sweet realization about bonanza.
Again, will still be in here, still plug away at it maybe once in a blue moon, but the slot itself has died.

Yeah, 3 of them dropped in straight like that, including the +5s - on a silly run at the moment - it'll all come crashing down soon, but I'm making the most of it while I can (and WDing into Mrs Congo's holiday fund!).

I had a crazy run since April, so many great bonuses but I think it's coming to an end for now.

and yet if you fired it up on a different day it could have been a 20x or worse, one day you can win and another day you can't no matter what you do because on those days you will get crappy features.

After watching Dunovers spawney YT vid last night I fired it up in PP and had a very nice session.
Well that would only reinforce my (joking) belief that it was a gift for me going to Bonanza rather than somewhere else, though I'm unsure what your reply is targetting as I wasn't questioning the overall game model?

Sadly not no, i have however took it straight out my "usual" routine and roster and i play it maybe at peak - once every 2-3 weeks?

you can be cruising getting regular wins (balance reaching new peaks) and then it hits you with 7 dead, and a small loss and then 7 or 8 more dead and another small loss.
but what about these strange behaviours where the L disappears and you can go 200+ spins without any GOL. or 200+ spins without at least a 2x diamond win (or purple box if playing christmas version).

This is why I like bonanza.That's the best one I've seen but it frequently drops in really decent base game hits on the low symbols because of the megaways being well designed.
I hit a 50x K last night that extended my evening when I was down to my last 10x.

First spin 123 GOL with 2 tumbles I thought I was going to bonus but no.
About 30 spins in I hit a shitload of Queens 6OAK on max ways for 157x base.
About 10 spins after that GOLD that paid exactly 157x as well.
Pissed away £150 on more Turkey earlier so this was a relief. The bonus was actually crap apart from 5OAK purples on 5x that paid £125.
Edit: A few minutes later another bonus holy moly. Sadly only a 45x. Going to try to get to £400 and withdraw. If it could have just paid a few £ more in the bonus...

Kept going and after 40 minutes got another bonus but only 18x. Annoying. Really hoped to get that £400 to just leave but been treading water between £300-£340 for ages. Suppose I'll have to do £300 or £350 and cut my losses lol.

I noticed how after those diamonds the bonus span you to death, very typical and infuriating.
That's how many bonus rounds operate, one 'premium spin' and the rest micro-wins and dead spins.
