It’s very rare to get a session with good base hits and a lot of bonus rounds. I have only ever had a couple. I sometimes wonder if big base hits are just a different way of displaying a bonus round so to speak (as effectively they could be classed as the same thing. Just that the total is displayed in one spin rather than the same total being reached via 12 spins.

Another thing I have noticed and you have to remember I have played this game virtually every day since release so that is a lot of spins, is that in the early days you would see a big hit on blue gems in the base game and in the bonus. This never seems to happen now but it could just be my personal play.
