Bonanza is a far easier game to play if you believe slots are not random. 39 Golds with a few +5s all achieved from £10 or £20 deposits this month. Not one took over 100 spins to hit.

Probably 20 odd but some have come from small wins on other games. Despite all that I haven’t won a great amount. The first 2 above came off a £20 deposit withdrew £260 but the bottom one came off a £10 deposit but I bust out. Withdrawn a few £100s but if that is all I can manage off that many Golds it puts into perspective how hard it is to win.

The majority were under x50 and few under x20. A year ago I would have hit way more between x200 and x500. They are the ones that have disappeared, so many dead spins in the bonus. This never used to be so.

Compared to Jammin Jars this Bonanza thing is like a gentle summer breeze. Just went through €20 on 20c bets in just over 15 minutes and not even close to 200 spins. Even had a bonus that went for 40x. That was painful, I don't know why I keep trying those Push slots now and again...

I know Bonanza has been tightened down or it’s compensated and the volume of money played through has decreased or both. However during the past 6 months which most of the time it played hideously I branched out and tried various other slots.

Different variances and ways but I still didn’t find any game that ticked all the boxes. In fact most of them were either excruciatingly boring or ripped your balance instantly. If I did manage to hit a bonus ultimately it was a major disappointment.

I am still convinced they are compensated and that’s why you only see big wins on the popular HV games like DOA. Other providers trying to produce replicas either haven’t got the mechanics right or they are late to the party.

Games like DOA which have always been popular will always have that hardcore following because the game is proven but these games that are churned out weekly in Mickey Mouse fashion will have to be sensational to make a mark imo simply because the market is saturated with dross.
