Suggested it may play well this weekend and was half right....

“Jono”. Any chance of a word mate? It’s to do with the “it’s going to pay out like crazy” thing.

We interrupt this message for an important News Flash.
GOLD BECOMES WORTHLESS OVERNIGHT.

Yesterday started worryingly when small time investor snorky510238 reported this4F1813FE-314C-489D-8C41-DCDA40AC55B0.png The market seemed to recover and the worries seemed over when major investor @nutnut posted his returns for the day. However more worryingly he hasn’t been seen since and snorky’s returns for today have just been posted.C6DF1712-BC6B-4A24-9F60-FC20AB75568E.png473C6155-6A8B-4CC2-AB6A-F89ECB658010.png 716D43DD-B7F4-44B7-8CF4-49D9E2113677.png A spokesman said “this was always on the cards” and that casinos were still reeling from @dunover’s withdrawal of significant profits last year. He said “the losses had to be paid for somehow”. A NATIONAL CRISIS has been declared.

Not a bad return for an hour's entertainment and £240 :eek2:
No it’s a bit misleading the £300 balance is at VS and the £60 odd at V&J which thanks to Bbw and Gonzo is now looking a bit healthier. I wouldn’t of been able to make light of it if I had blown £240 in an hour I assure you.

Would love to know what it is we're looking for in this game. Ok I'd like to know why Nutnut keeps playing it :p

Because I guess in my case it's the anticipation of the bonus more and more these days. I suppose ultimately I'd like to be at minimum 40p stakes and hit a screen bursting with diamonds at 32x multiplier.

But wtf happens then?

Then you wake up ;)

i give up. got big bet on browne to beat allen in boxing so cant afford to lose more. game is teasing like its about to pay but someone else can get the win. thats me done unless my fighter wins then ill test 50 more.

good luck!

Personally I don’t think we found Bonanza. I think it found us.

Obviously we would all love a slot that had an rtp of say 200% hypothetically but in reality of course that can’t happen.
So we have a choice of thousands of slots that all have a rtp of around 96%.

A few things we consider when choosing a slot to play are.
1. Has it got the potential to pay big hits.
2. Is the base game any good.
3. Am I likely to have frequent large patches of dead spins.
4. Is it exciting enough.
5. Do I have a reasonable chance of winning.
I may of missed other things players look for but if not consciously, certainly subconsciously these are things players consider.

I am guessing at this but if you plunged all the for and againsts into a computer that could analyse all the stats and best value for money I think Bonanza would come top. I haven’t played every game by a long chalk but if there was another game as good I am sure it would be mentioned on CM a lot more often.

I know we all moan about it (me as much as anyone) when it comes to where are the big hits but we are starting to get to the bottom of how slots really work and like it or not call it random(ahem), compenrigged, randomsated or whatever long term they payout 96%.

Therefore when it comes to value for money, pound for pound Bonanza ticks the boxes and comes closest to meeting all the criteria. It may not have done any huge payouts but they come at a price. For every wildline on DOA, huge hit on JJ’s or BOD or BOanything. There will be numerous players that have had absolutely awful sessions to pay for those hits. So whilst Bonanza may not be seen paying anybody £20,000 in Casumos list. It is very likely that it paid 20 people £1,000. I would rather have 20 chances of hitting a grand than 1 chance of 20k.
Just an opinion I am bored.

I've been quite impressed with primal megaways, it seems to bonus more often than bonanza and retrigger, the average bonus payout is probably less than bonanza's reputed 100x but seeing hypalinx on his youtube channel recently get two stonking wins on it tells me its realistically giving out bigger wins than bonanza [though theoretically Bonanza is capable of bigger wins but no one ever sees them] plus the rtp is a bit higher, I think he won £12,000 at £3 stake and £7445 at £5 stake, bearing in mind primal has been played less overall than bonanza.

I still like bonanza but I think Chopley was right re the rarity of the bonus makes it feel more of an achievement/exciting to get one, and the psychology of using GOLD as the scatters, when it lands I'm sure it feels like you've won actual gold, for a moment anyway

had high hopes for some decent play time tonight, usually gives your money a good run.

but took 100 off me in no time and about 15 gol in between. sure pay well tonight for someone, but got another 50 and then thats my limit for tonight. deciding when to play it is the problem.
Best of luck mate, and what’s your job?. Not being funny but your bonanza deposits are insane lol

I needed this BADLY. Had a shit weekend, lost 400 on boxing yesterday + hundreds on slots. So this has dug me out the trench. was just a few diamonds.

I know that layout :) it looks like william hill esquire, an 800x is a great bonus round

The problem between bonanza and something like DOA is you can say I'm aiming to get 1 more wildline and then I'll leave it for a while but bonanza has no equivalent accomplishment in the bonus round or say on raging rhino to get 4 connecting wilds in the bonus...bonanza makes it hard to leave, has anyone seen the best it can do yet? Dazza's screenful of 'K's sticks in my memory [or was it red gems ] as one of the best large wins I've seen.

That's what I mean, no one even knows why they're playing it anymore, it's like a beguiling slot affliction
