The Danish Gambling Authority has blacklisted and ordered the blocking of eight more websites targeting the country’s online gambling market without a local licence.

Playtech-powered TitanCasino.com, TitanCasino.dk and deuropacasino.com, all operated by Playtech’s largest licensee Imperial E-Club, were among the eight domains on a list sent to ISP “3″, requiring it to block these within 14 days. TitanPoker.com was on the initial list of 12 websites sent to 3 for blocking in July of this year.

Denmark’s dot.dk online gambling market went live at the start of this year, with most of Europe’s major operators applying for licences to offer sports betting, poker and casino after the tax rate was set at a viable 20% of gross profit and the poker market left open to dot.com liquidity.

The Danish Gambling Authority has however confirmed that a minority of websites continued to defy their requests to cease offering products into the market without a Danish licence, and that the bailiffs court in Frederiksberg had imposed an injunction on the ISP, compelling it to block eight more websites.

In addition to the Imperial E-Club-owned brands, other sites on the new blacklist include Microgaming-powered AllSlotsCasino.com and AllJackpotsCasino.com, Playtech-powered casino Delrio-casino.com, 1Bet2Bet.com, which offers sports betting, poker, casino and financials on Merge and Stream2Play software, and Costa Rica-licensed online casino MegaMoneyGames.com.

The regulator added that it expected other internet service providers to follow the court’s lead and block the eight websites in question.

??? Why are you posting this. Though your site was UK faced? And also this belongs to news section thanks.
To the general public or to Danes as me this is already known. Old / Expired Link
In Danish sorry.
Also if Danes wanna play on those blocked sites it is simple. Just use IP changer software.

Bad advice!

Also I think it's good that they are blocking them. The casinos should take their responsibility and stay out and most of them are.
I don't know if this was news, but Paaske, be nice;)

I am always nice Trilej. Or at least a lot more than certain others in this community :D
Yes I know i was bit harsh. Reason I made second post. Would be nice with bit input from PremierGaming that was all

So just a sorry PremierGaming. Did not mean to come out bad here.

Also Trilej I do not see why bad advise? I know if I was living in Denmark still then I would be using the IP thingy.
And when I go to stay in Denmark on holiday. Then the IP software is needed to play several sites. As they are blocking them

But yes of course Danish players should best of all respect the Danish Law and play on Casinos which have license. But there are couple others which are safe to play at. Only thing is if you win get your money out in a hurry use web wallets like Skrill and have credit card associated with it. ;)

Read my new post above below yours got to late before you posted

And yes I am working on a new Danish site and already run one on facebook. I do advertise for couple which are fine to play at.
Even though a casino has not got Danish License does not mean it is a bad one.

Also the Danish law is still very confusing. As I get lot of strange emails from different of the bigger affiliate programs.
Telling me yes we take Danish Players and are allowed to. As the Danish Law is not covering Betting sites :eek2:

I am still learning myself as living in UK now :D And will not publish my new website before I got all facts correct.

From one affiliate program, got others as well.

Hi xxxxxx

As far as I’m aware so far in Denmark there is no legislation around sportsbetting, only poker in casino. So until legislation is brought forward regarding sports betting we will continue to accept Danish players, however we are not actively targeting them, hence not having a Danish site or not having Danish Kroners. Should the law change we will adhere to it.

Kind regards,

And that email springs to mind. As I understand all brands no matter casino, poker or sportsbook etc. if they have the License.
Then all Danish customers has to login with their Danish National Security number card. Which I have myself.
And they def. haven't got that.

How come Microgaming didn't do what they did in Spain, a pre-emptive edict to operators that players should be closed out rather than have Microgaming involved in a legal spat between operator and government. MGS casinos are not allowed to accept bets from Spain unless they have a Spanish license, and it is Microgaming that are enforcing this via the servers, it isn't up to the operator. Microgaming should surely have done the same for Denmark, rather than have one of their operators' domains on a government blacklist.

MGS may well act now that they have been embarrassed by this move, and operators will be told to close out Danish players until they have a proper license.

Would these company's be fined for this or would they just be warned or?...

EXTREMELY bad advice I would say.

It is fraud to misrepresent your country of origin. No different to signing up saying you are from Australia when you are really from Russia.

Newbies...DO NOT take this poster's advice. It will likely end up with you losing your winnings.

I don't know, but MGS were so careful to force all their operators to quit Spain and only go back once they had a license, and this avoided any run in with the Spanish authorities because MGS forced the pull out before there was even a mechanism in place for obtaining Spanish licenses.

Denmark is different, they have already been issuing licenses, and have had a period where operators had an opportunity to either get a license or pull out. Now they are resorting to domain blocking as an enforcement measure to prevent unlicensed operators from reaching their Danish players.

I am surprised that this caught Jackpot Factory napping, as now they have a black mark against their name in Denmark, and this may affect their future abilty to obtain a license there, or indeed in other countries, as they may see their actions as a deliberate attempt to ignore the licensing laws and get away with it because they are based offshore.

I did make new post to explain this and also give opinion better
I did not think of this as fraud. If casino accept Danish players but not have license. Then it is up to the Danish Goverment.
I have read other places that yes if you get in problems with the casino. Then there is no help for you.

Vinylman is scary he bloody knows a lot more than people from my own country Denmark :D. I am very emberresed I better not write about Danish Law until I know it proper. I guess I have been reading the wrong channels :oops: Sorry guys.

All respect Vinylman you contribute so much good stuff for this great community  :notworthy

Sorry got Nifty mixed up with Vinylman. Praise was for Vinylman's post not so much what Nifty wrote though he is right I guess.

Jackpot Factory closed my account, the day before they were supposed to have a license to operate legally in Denmark because, as they said, they were pulling out (I was still officially in Denmark at the time), so it seems a bit weird, that they now have to be blocked.

It seems they acted too late to avoid ending up on the blocklist. It seems odd that a selective block is still requested when the operator has complied by pulling out, yet there are loads of other casinos still taking Danish players without a license that have not been included in this round of blocking requests.

In Spain, Microgaming themselves shut down access to players, long before there was even a mechanism in place for obtaining a license. Now it seems to have been left up to operators. Since Jackpot Factory have decided to pull out in any case, this action will not affect them, nor will it deprive players of anything they have not already been deprived of already.

It seems the Danish authorities may have scored an own goal with this, needlessly blocking sites that no longer serve Danish players, yet NOT blocking many sites that are prepared to ignore the rules and continue taking bets from Danes.

Given the nature of the internet, this is about as far as the Danish government can go.

20% tax seems high, as the UK originally wanted 15% and no operator was interested at first, preferring instead to go to Malta and access the UK through the whitelist system. This shows the UK government that under the new system, a 20% tax might be workable once the whitelist loophole has been closed. The UK is quite a significant market, despite is size relative to other countries. JF may have ditched the Danes, but they may not be prepared to ditch the Brits over a 20% tax take. 20% is also the current VAT rate in the UK, so a 20% tax on remote gambling is probably what will be implemented.

Thanks for very informative posts here Vinylman and also to premiergaming for posting the article

I just wanted to apologize for my stupid posts. I can see that afterwards now. I need to do proper research on this and also will take contact to all the affiliate programs and have a serious talk with them

I will make sure to follow rules on my own sites. I can see that clearly now. Only promote the ones which has proper legal license. Anything else is just stupid. It is all about safety for players. Therefor my apology to everyone

Yes and to finish off. I need to proper review before I make any post in future, as it comes out so wrong lot of times. Take care everyone and may luck follow you :notworthy
