On Sunday night, while gong through my list of casinos, looking to see what promotions were on offer. I logged into Casinoland
I opened up the deposit tab, which actually open straight to Neteller, and there was a 50% bonus there, already pre-selected. So I deposited £100.

No bonus was added. So since it was so late, and there'd probably be no one on live chat to complain to. I checked through the T&C, and found that bonuses are not given to Neteller deposits.

Ok, fair enough, I should have checked first. But with the bonus option being there on the Neteller deposit page, already pre-selected, you wouldn't think to check.

So I decided to just play my deposit, which I doubled up to £200, and made a withdrawal.

Today I attempted to log in, to see how my withdrawal was progressing, only to find that my account was blocked.
After emailing CS, my withdrawal was paid to Neteller, and I received a reply telling me that my account has been blocked because I am self-excluded from one of their sister sites.

I am NOT self-excluded at any sites.

I have TABed at a couple of their sites, because of all the technical problems, which have seemed worse there, than at any of the other MT Secure Trade sites, and that's mainly so I don't forget and accidentally deposit there.

But there's no way I'd SE from ANY casino.

As far as I'm aware there's a huge difference between TAB an SE,

A TAB should be specific to a particular casino

Be careful with Bonuses!
It is  crucial  that you understand and agree to the terms and conditions of any bonus that you accept. Most of the complaints that come through our arbitration service are bonus related; it would be safe to say that there are tens of thousands of players who have never complained because they realized after the fact that they did not understand or had never read the terms. Nothing in a casino is free – so whenever you see “free” being used, there are stipulations. It is important for you to understand that.

Please check out our Bonus Section that lists the offers given by our Accredited Casinos. No deposit bonuses, welcome bonuses (AKA sign up bonuses [SUBs]), exclusive bonuses, reload bonuses, free spin bonuses...all this and more!

It might depend on the wording that you've used

It's a self-selected option.
.
They have a page of RG settings. TAB, with various lengths of time and SE with a minimum of 6 months (I think), So no 'wording' is used

I looked at Casinolands rules and the only one I could read since i don't have an account there, was their self exclusion which is from 7 days to 6 months.
It sounds like they are calling every break a self exclusion. You better go and ask at those places you use the TAB function so you know if you are blocked at more places.

Another site using a Google translator for the Swedish rules. I'm getting tired of seeing it.

I too had this exact problem at Chance Hill Casino. Which i think is one of there sister sites. Very similar to your situation it was also late at night and no live chat was available however when i spoke to them the next day they were not willing to add the bonus for me as paysafe wasn't applicable for bonus funds. I argued that it shouldn't of let me select the bonus option then, But they gave 0 plums about what i had to say.

So why for the LOVE OF GOD!!! Don't they mention that when you deposit with another payment method?

It should come up a notice saying you cant claim the bonus, Before it take's your deposit.

I always look at tactics like this as a simple little tiny error's left in on purpose in my opinion to gains the casino more and more money.

Due to people's Naivety. Scummy tactics in my opinion

I'm not too fussed about playing at any MT Secure Trade sites, UNTIL they've got all their technical problems sorted out.
I posted more as a warning to others, about TABing at their sites.
And about having pre-selected bonuses on Neteller deposit pages, when they aren't actually available.

I'm starting to wonder if they ever will get sorted. I always blame my own computer for not being the latest one, but it can't be that since so many others also have problems. For me though it's only Rizk that hardly works. The rest do work but none works as good as they should. They are playable though if I have patience ;)

EMSEB - type nonsense rears its head again. TAB is NOT subject to the same criteria as SE under the UKGC rules, and as such should not be used as a reason to not pay a winner.

I did actually get paid, which is something in their favour :)

Yes, by Neteller as I read, but the point is that despite this the casino is misinterpreting TAB here apparently. IF they considered you SE'd and not TAB'd they shouldn't have paid you, but voided bets and refunded deposits. This is why it all looks odd to me - it has to be one or the other.

This is a major failing of ALL Mt Secure Trade sites. Woe unto him or her who uses TAB as that will then TAB you from every site ... but the problems start when the TAB is up.
I sometimes TAB for a week or 10 days not longer. But then you try get an account back open they will say "No you cant as your SEd from say Rizk" I try tell them thats not the case
as I never SE but only ever TAB. It gets sorted eventually but can take days for them to work out you were never SEd in the first place.

And if you TAB from 1 site why lock all the rest ? too much hassle in my view ...

last time was with Dunder they were adamant i had SEd from Rizk. Told them 10 times I have not. Took them nearly 3 days to unblock my account by which time I had moved onto to somewhere else.

It will get sorted but its a total pain in the bollocks ... and the system for TAB is messed up.

I think it was Dunder I TAB-ed at. But Betspin, Rizk and Casinoland have all quite happily accepted my deposits.
Maybe if I'd made a withdrawal at Rizk and Betspin, those accounts would have been blocked too.

But I'll never know, since as far as I'm concerned MT Secure Trade can stick their casinos......

I've had enough hassle in the past with them.
When I closed my account at Guts, when they were on the EM platform, they carried that closure over to their new platform and license as a SE, which became a problem when opening accounts at Rizk and Betspin

Their dodgy server, lack of promotions and pitiful 'rewards', just aren't worth the hassle of sorting anything out with them

I have had a similar problem at an acreddited casino on here (not a MT site)
Wanted to close my account due to a 50 balance vanishing overnight, deposited nght before and didnt get chance to play it, so logged in morning after to play it.
It showed in my play history that 2.50 spins on Starburst were made.
I hate that slot and never staked 2.50 in my life, and I was asleep in bed at the time, so obviously someone got in my account but the casino was having none of it.

They blocked my account while they investigated and then wanted me to verify it again to open it back up.
I said no thanks, I wanted it closing.
So they self excluded me, saying in 6 months they will do it all again if I dont send ID in.

Emailed the UKGC to ask advice (not naming the casino) and they replied back (in 3 weeks lol) confirming they shouldnt do this saying account closure and SE are 2 different things (obviously)
Messaged the rep with the contents of the UKGC email, rep said will get back to me.
That was on the 3rd of February and not heard a thing.

So the moral is, the casinos just do what they want, disregarding what the UKGC say.

As far as im aware, the casino doesnt have sister sites so no problem there, but just CBA with it, all I wanted was a simple account closure.

Sorry Brianmon for derailing a bit, but just want to quote you on the SE thing you said.
