Any decent casino would see you had made a mistake and probably give you the benefit of the doubt. If your main betting range is between 20p - £2 then it would seem ludicrous to do five whole spins at £50. I mean who would do that?

If they have a rep I'd contact them, or email their support centre given how clueless and powerless chat CRs are!

Done now, closed account with them but I left at profit, it just should have been more.

it was on an auto bonus first few deposits so im sure that would of been void also.

Well you're right that anyone could just fancy having a few insane bets and then claim to have made a mistake, that's an obvious and suspicious way to look at the player. I'd like to think a minority of people would report if this had happened even if they won big from it, there will always be some that do.

Given the player's customary low betting patterns (I assume) I don't see why the casino can't at least review their accounts and offer some recompense, even if just a fraction of what the player lost making bizarre bets. I believe every player should be given the benefit of the doubt, even if just the one time.

If the player was playing with a bonus that would limit their bets to something less than $50, the player should be entitled to a return of funds and allowed to carry on wagering.

I HATE software where max bet not only bets maximum coins but maximum denomination as well. A few games (play n go) have such small fonts for balance and bet, it's hard to see what you are betting!

I'd love the OP to tell us what game had a default max bet of $50.

It's easy to check the records if you are a regular depositor.
If you have NEVER bet above 5$ then its safe to believe it was a mistake but if there have been times bets exceed 10$ then it is up to the casino if they would want to compensate.

I'm with you, the casino would have received sooo many refund claims and somebody could make some profit of it.

I've done it myself and I can see why the casino wouldn't reimburse me even though it is an obvious mistake, players could just do it as a one off and be on a win/win.
What really annoys me though is tricky slots where it looks like your bet amount is actually the coin value and the real bet amount in a little box in top corner.
That and the max bet button being right next to the start button are done by design which is really , really low.

Also a point to mention is it depends on the player and particular casinos relationship.
It's true that you say casinos may receive so many requests for refunds.
However they should consider each and review.
If this is a VIP client or someone who has been with the group for a long time and consistently deposits quite a decent sum,.... 150 is not a large amount to keep a customer happy, rather than in this case, losing him.

I also had a £20 spin on cleopatraII instead of 20p, I have mentioned this before, I was half cut and could of swore I clicked the 1p domination but all I know is that I see £20 flush away, I actually got this £20 back as they must of looked at my game play, Lucky max bet allowed with bonus is £50

Exactly, and the software can already do this - like when you accidentally click Hit on a 20 on blackjack and it asks if your brain is working!

Yes & I take it that they was actually designed to do players in,

I believe videoslots is the only site to have measures in place to protect you against this rubbish, Where you cam actually set a max bet etc in your account, You would of thought after all theses years they would of implemented a tick box,

You are just about knackered if it happens as if your a small roller as it whacks a good chuck of your balance & also 99.9% sure it will void any bonus due to max bet rule,

I know we have complained a lot earlier about and at least I thought it was NetEnt or other game providers that was to blame, but in most cases it's not.
It's up to the operator to decide at least what coin size it should start on.

You can clearly see that if you compare Guts that have a set amount for DoA on 2.25 while Redbet has it on 90 cent.
That's not a huge difference but it is one.

The fact that Videoslots could help people to never go above the max bonus or an amount set at max for any reason also proves that.

I also think its the casino to chose, Take a look at slotaway vs pinkcasino, Both running from the same engine (ips sites) while on cleopatraII one site domination is set at 5p a line while the other is 1p a line,
