I would like to bring notice to this new casino which after reading meisters advice on roguish behaviour i feel i'm being taken for one. For two weeks now, sending in all my personal identification 11 times nonetheless, requesting signed photo id when i have 'citizencard' a government standard scheme of proof of age (PASS). Now finally after 11 days i have sent enough ID they bring up the possible decline due to bonus issues. Upon reading T&C's for this site though the money i want is less than i deposited. The ball is in their court now and have been told im gonna have to wait another week even though my withdrawal method 'moneybookers' is very quick. I dont feel positive about the outcome of this and the 'live support' although seemingly helpful deem to be powerless against the security department. What concerns me the most is when i told them i had no driving license or passport (hence my citizen id) they asked for document to which i opened my bank account with. Back to the bonus i asked for this to be removed and in the interest of fairness i even wagered back 120 of the 770 deposited. Although i cannot deem this casino 'rogue' as of yet it seems to be following a similar thread to thousands of 'hard luck' stories concerning playtech casinos. Has anyone played this casino or the Blackpool Bingo or Blackpool Poker and have they got their money okay? I would be very interested to know

Don't know for sure, but I have a feeling you will be alright. The people running it I'm lead to believe have been around a while and I'd suggest its an odd situation - a player with no passport or driving licence. And I've never heard of a "Citizen ID" in the UK before? Do you mean NI number?

So assuming it isnt bonus abuse then I dont think you'll have a worry. But as I say, just going on hearsay.

its a shame you're having problems, i've only had good experiences with the Blackpool club. hope you get it sorted

You and I live in a different galaxy. There wouldn't be 1 person in 100 who possess either a passport or a driving licence in my neighborhood. But they do access the internet in droves via cafes.

Get out of that lounge chair, take the slippers off (and the blinkers) and get your arse into the real world friend. In fact here's an invitation - come down to my neck of the woods and I'll escort you round the neighborhood for some sights and sounds you may not be entirely familiar with.

You won't be needing that glass of chardonnay either.

..

And if they play at an online casino, they should be aware that 9 cases out of 10, they'll have to provide the casino with some sort of identification.

It's not a different galaxy, it's the same identical world.

And it is odd that someone plays at a casino and chooses not to have personal identification.

We live in different countries. And the OP lives in mine. What happens in the Philippines is clearly going to be different.

Per-lease...nothing but Moet here in my ivory towers overlooking rose-tinted spectacle land where everyone's happy and made of delicious chocolate

Back to the original topic - yes there is a UK Citizen Card which acts as a "Proof Of Age" so no reason why BlackpoolClub wouldn't accept that IMO.

Not sure I see the need for the sarcastic, belittling and dismissive attitude.

In fact now that I glance at the Forum Rules ...
1.1 - No "Flaming": Please do not post any messages that harass, insult, belittle, threaten or flame another member or guest. Abusive behavior will not be tolerated and your account may be suspended. Please refrain from potty mouth language.

I see there are some very good reasons against such behaviour. Try it, you might like it.

That, and being a slipper wearer!

Next it'll be girlie clothes and French feather dusters!! Where will it end?:eek2::eek::eek2:

The UK Citizen card IS a valid Government ID. It is precisely the fact that some people don't have Passport or Drivers Licence that has created the need for this. Neither passport or drivers licence are intended to be used as proof of age/ID, however, this is the EXACT purpose behind the citizen card, and is what I recommened to another poster who CANNOT get a drivers licence due to a disability.

This casino appears to be stalling, only after the player finally managed to get enough ID together did they bring up "bonus abuse". IF this was a bonus issue, they would have known this from the start, and refunded the deposit and kicked the player out. The player would then be complaining about confiscated winnings.

If this player is not medically unfit, a provisional drivers licence will cost around 50, and there is no need to actually bother driving, or learning to drive. My Niece is getting one, and has told me that they are valid for 10 years, and that there is no need to start taking lessons, or pass a theory test within 2 years, as I earlier thought.

As for documents required to open a bank account, this does not necessarily include any form of photo ID, which is probably what the casino is getting at. Banks, when faced with a customer without a drivers licence or passport, will accept alternative items, and will do verification checks with the electoral roll, and credit reference agencies, to determine that the potential customer is legit (and not bankrupt!!!).

It seems Playtech are causing too many complaints of this nature compared with their presence in the gaming market.

"Blackpool Club" is enough for me to want to avoid this joint, sounds like one of those "white label" casinos that Playtech have been churning out, and is deliberately targeted at YOUNG UK players by the association with the famous GAMBLING and CLUBBING resort of Blackpool.

There are a whole host of "Football Club" casinos, also white labels, and I don't much like the look of these either. It can be hard to see who is behind them, and trouble can be caused if players play at more than one white label, say, a casino named after a football club, another supporting something else, and, say, Blackpool Club. They might decide this is enough to cry "bonus abuse", even though these casinos may be spammed to death as separate entities.

I opened an account at Enter Casino, and am bombarded with offers to take the sign-up-bonus at every other casino this group run, as well as having another go at the 200% bonus at Enter casino. I quit because I became concerned that they were "pulling stunts", beginning with the shafting of affiliates when they took over another bunch of casinos, although I have not seen many complaints from players.

Forgot to mention earlier I got one of my lazy good-for-nothing kitchen staff to contact Blackpool Club and make them aware of this issue

In reply to the sarcastic dimwiited comments i received from some members i am now pleased to say that i did get my money it was sent to my online banking yesterday but thanks for the comments of some members and maxd. It seems because my citizencard didnt have a signature that this was the cause of the problems but hey ho everythings fine now thanks once again

So why didn't the casino just say so then, then this problem would have been instantly resolved with a ballpoint pen:confused:

Even if there is no need for a signature for normal use, surely there would be no problem just adding one on the back in some blank area. This should also prevent this problem elsewhere.

Blackpool Club

I am reasonably new to casino gambling (and beginning to wish I hadnt bothered). One thing I have learnt the hard way is to MAKE SURE that I am blocked from ANY casino bonuses before I start. The casinos seem to automatically issue whacking great bonuses and then when you want to withdraw they point out that you need to be wagering huge amounts before you can withdraw. I recently had a problem with Blackpool so quit and signed up to JOYLAND. This site has now infested my computer with viruses, I cannot access it anymore (and I have 500 in my account). I keep writing to them and they keep writing back telling me to uninstal it which I have done, but it still keeps telling me I have a malicious software problem. NOW, after 4 days of trying to get it sorted I get an email from Blackpool telling me to go through the whole uninstal process again - they are obviously part of the same group and Im getting nowhere. I shall be writing to the nice man who has posted on here saying he is the Manager - Does anyone know who else is in the Blackpool group?
