I just received a free 50.00 by snail mail from Big Dollar - Is this casino part of any group? I played the free money and was thinking of depositing but cant find anything here on them, or I'm not looking hard enough. Any body know anything? Good or bad.

I think this casino is the one VWM says is secretly part of the Belle Rock group... ?
There is nothing I can see in the T&C's about bonuses across a group, so I think you should be OK.

Nope, it's still part of the Grand Prive group as far as I know.

Here's a thread from about two years ago that discusses the casino:
https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/bigdollar-casino.13810/

It may be on it's own now.

The best way to figure out what group a casino is with is to click on the "Affiliates" or "webmasters" link which will direct you to its aff program, which normally lists commonly owned casinos. Or google the phone number of the phone support. Here you'll see what customer support group deals with the casino. Sometimes casinos share CS.

Anyway, they used to be Grand Prive. Nothing seems to indicate this now, so they might have been sold. Dunno.

Well that thread overall was pretty positive - I was a faithful player at Grand prive until recently maybe that's how they got my address:confused: It doesn't appear on the Grand prive list of casinos. I think I will deposit and try it out. Thanks for the info.

Jupiter is listed as one of the Grand Prive casinos - I never heard of Mint Vegas

When I was playing this was my predominant M/G, definitey Grand Prive, I never had any problem with this casino, great bonuses, always got paid on time without hassle.

I was always told that Big Dollar was a stand alone operation, that simply shared back end support with Grand Prive? Were they indeed a part of the Grand Prive stable? I always found it strange that they sent out the same elaborate mailers as GP, and offered the same types of promos throughout the week.

Well I did pretty good here and most MGs have sucked up my money pretty fast. If they still part of Grand Prive I'll be bummed because they have lost some respect in my eyes..

I went to the "about us" page and its said it is backed by Ashanti LTd branding. And it also has Gibraltar and the UK for funding, I usually look at the form for credit cards to see where the form is going but i dont see an authorization form on here

No phone number listed for Canada or US, 30 times WR FYI :)

Big Dollar used to be part of Brightshare 4 or 5 years ago I believe. I'm not sure of the exact relationship with Grand Prive but Big Dollar doesn't show an affiliate program.

Yep - that exactly what I looked for - but I couldn't see any such link.
I seems they run without affiliates...

Very odd for an MG.

Mojo, read my reply to KK above...your answer is there...

Funny I got the bonus CD too - I received it yesterday (Oct 8) and the fine print on the mailer said "this offer is valid til Oct 1."

well crap, i just looked on mine and it says the same valid till oct 1, post mark, says royal mail, how long does it take snail mail? just got it yesterday:rolleyes:

I think it will still be valid - mine said the same and I used it on 10/02 :D

Correct, i used it also on 10/03 and it worked but don't know how long it will be.

My Informations was that Grand Prive has received the Support but the Casino selfs stand alone.

Before 1 or 2 years i liked and often played at Big Dollar but suddenly came no more email offers.

They was already very thrifty before with emails.

FYI, for anyone who got this mailer - I downloaded and tried to claim but couldn't, so I wrote to support and asked about it - mentioned that I had a previous account and the date on the voucher and got this reply:

Dear (me),

Thank you for your e-mail.

Please accept my apologies for that inconvenience and confusion.
The expiry date of the promotion is not for 01 Oct 2008, but for 01 Nov 2008.
That was an error made by the external marketing company used to print and distribute these vouchers.

I am pleased to inform you that I have now credited your account manually with this bonus.

Should you have any further queries, do not hesitate to contact Player Services.

Kind regards and happy gaming,

That's pretty cool! So if anyone got this but had trouble claiming, just write support and see what they say.

I used to play the weekly bonuses all the time, Mon 100% Tues 75% Wed %50 etc, then I guess I had won to much they stopped. I played for almost 2 yrs depositing approx 15k/yr, when I contacted C/S they told me i had been removed from promo's, thats when I closed my acct, mind you this goes back a year or so ago.

I played the free $50 and got it up a bit then crashed and burned. I went into the bank and realized why I quit playing there after Neteller pulled out of Canada - they don't have Moneybookers.
