This result is from today. I thought they had fixed this issue already. I sent a complaint to Ladbrokes and I demand a minimum 6x bet size payment.

Yeah that's what I would like to know too. I thought that the bug had been fixed already.

By the way, do they use different reels during free spins? I had to spin 500 times to finally get the free spins round but there were very few of those higher paying scatter animals (mostly just coconuts and kiwis). During normal spins, these symbols appear much more frequently (and they are not scatters then). What a ripoff!

This is likely, I have noticed that the new Tomb Raider uses a different set of reels for the 10 spins feature. It's pretty obvious, as when you enter the free spins game, you get to click on "start free spins", yet you will see that you no longer have your triggering scatters!
When you exit free spins, you will be returned to the original set of reels where you see the initial triggering spin with the scatters again.

MG have other games where the reels are altered during free spins in how payouts are evaluated, so it is only one further step to alter the symbol strips as well for a bonus round. Normally, such alterations are meant to BOOST the wins during free spins, so if they have used this to cut back the potential, this would be disappointing, as it goes against the expectations for a bonus round, which is supposed to offer ENHANCED payouts.

Scattered monkeys in free spins ONLY count if they are the SAME Primate, including Big Break, which can substitute for the relevant Ape. This is not all that clear in the rules, as it seems to indicate that 5 of ANY Monkey will count as a scatter. 5 Monkey Scatters also pays 500x when in free spins, far more than expected (see my screenshot in the Ladbrokes promo thread).

The bug will only be fixed when the casino updates on your PC, this should be automatic once the server detects it, so maybe some casinos do not yet have the patch. I am seeing it rolled out on my accounts, and not all at the same time.

The payout for scatters during free spins is confusing. For 4 scatters i've had X75, X100, X150 and even X250! I've not hit 5, yet.

I think it depends on which monkey and how many "Big Break" symbols are used but I havn't been able to work out an exact payout.

This looks like a combination of wins, as the monkey and 3x Big Break also form a winline, as well as 4 Monkey scatters.

I am not too sure myself, but when I was betting a mere 1.20 a spin, I was paid over 700 for 5 Monkey scatters during free spins, which lead me to believe 500x was the figure for 5 scatters. I also had other wins from the wilds making a contribution.

This shows this rather mediocre slot CAN hit REALLY big in the bonus round. I do not know if 5 scatters are more common than, say, 5 rams on Thunderstruck, or whether I was just a REALLY jammy B****r

The $150 is just for the scatters. The win on line 8 was only an extra $10, and then the win on line 3 is $0.20. $160.20 altogether on that spin.

For 5 scatter I seen a screenshot of free spins paying just over $100 from a $0.15 bet...i'm guessing that person hit a 5 scatter that paid X750.

I think I also remember seeing a $1500 win from a $1.50 bet, so maybe they were awarded X1000 for 5 scatters.

The scatter wins definitely depend on which monkey you hit. I guess until there are more screenshots the maths is impossible to work out

5 scatter in this game are waay more easy to hit than 5 rams. This game is all about the scatters in free spins.

Hey mates, I think you have missed how scatter wins are calculated...

I believe that the free spin scatter payout is just the payout listed in the paytable for that symbol, but instead of getting that payout for one line, you will get that payout for total bet.

For example: You can see from the paytable that 5 blue monkeys on a win line pays 1000 x line bet. But if you get 5 blue monkeys as a scatter during free spins, that is 1000 x TOTAL bet. The payout is the same whether there is Big break symbol substituting for a symbol or not.

Paytable also says that those scatters are left-to-right scatters (not real scatters), so you would need to get the same symbol on every reel starting from left and not for example on 1th, 3th and 5th reel.

I love this game! My new fav game but I can see why people would hate it. I always felt it was way too easy to win on but I guess I've just been very lucky on it!

It's a fun bonus round I think because you usually either hit big or end up with not very much....this makes it a more exciting bonus round in my view
