BGO Charging a percentage on deposits and withdrawals?

I thought this had now been banned for UK players?

Was depositing yesterday and I know there are £2.50 withdrawal fees but you also get charged 1% on deposits up to £500 also.

It is indeed banned. I also notice that Skrill are still doing it.

Its not unlawful if it isn't a surcharge for paying by card. They charge the same amount for every deposit method, therefore they are likely to be calling it an admin fee or similar.

A bit like JustEat used to charge 50p on card orders. That changed the day the law changed to a 50p admin fee on ALL orders, even those paying cash.

Stupid law.
