Hello everyone,

I just wanted to warn you all about PartyCasino Live BlackJack. About 4 days ago I decided to give it a try and ran into problems almost right away. My actions were not registering with the dealer after pressing the appropriate button. Also there were a few occasion where they would have to stop the game for up to 5 mins cause they were having connection problems. Not just with me but the whole table/site.

After pressing the button the options would go away like the action registered but the Hit/Stand/Split/Double action never showed up on the table. I would type to the dealer what button I pressed before my time expired. Then she would ding a bell on the table and raise her hand for support.

Support would come and ask me for the hand and they would proceed to give me a reference number. They also said I would be contacted via email by support.

Days went by and still no email so I decided to write them and ask whats taking so long. This is what they say:

Thank you for contacting Customer Service.

I am sorry to see that there were a few causes for disappointment and I hope that we will be able to answer your concerns as fully as possible.

I would like to confirm that the Live Dealer games represent a special mixture of technologies which makes it a bit more difficult for us to check the game logs. This is standard procedure when it comes to any complaints or disputes with the Live dealer games. So, any check takes slightly longer to perform and come back with a result, but this also ensures a correct reply.

Now, when our special games team has checked the given reference numbers: CI-8002, CI-8003 and CI-8005 they have confirmed that you have indeed clicked on HIT/SPLIT/HIT (for the three games respectively) but the decision was not accepted, since it reached our game servers too late, when the time given for a decision was already over. This may have happened due to slow Internet connection or general Internet delays. We however can confirm that we did not experience an issue on our end on that date and time.

Internet connection is established via the help of many servers. A disconnection/slow connectivity may be caused by one of those additional servers. Internet Delays or Internet Disconnections can be caused by a number of reasons, some of which can be influenced by us or yourself. For instance, the increasing number of Internet gateways(servers) that fall between our site and your system contribute towards poor connectivity to our games.

On our web site it is stated that "If you get disconnected in the middle of a game of blackjack your hand will automatically stand." I am sorry to confirm that according to our game rules and the mechanics of our software, the stand decision which was automatically taken due to the disconnection was practical and fair in the given circumstances. We would have no reason to refund the bets placed as in the occasion that the dealer would have busted, you would have received winnings for your bets.

We are sorry once again that we cannot assist you further with your refund request, but we do hope on your understanding that in that particular situation we are only applying the standard game rules where there is a confirmed disconnection outside our servers. Disconnections can and do happen, so you may happen to encounter others complaining of the same delay issues, but I can assure you that we have not caused such from our end and we will always refund accordingly when we have caused any such inconvenience.

I would like to add in closing that there was another person at the table that was having the same problem. I would also like to point out that I have a 45Mbps hard line connection that virtually never goes down/slows.

Is there any way we can get the phrase. " Online Blackjack is a fraud/scam" to pop up for every Google search as a warning? Dude, I play Blackjack regularly at tribal casinos. Online blackjack is a complete fraud. All it takes is one deposit to see this. People still play BJ online though LOL! All they need is one deposit from 1%-2% of the world population to become trillionaires.

Stop playing online blackjack... Warn all your friends too

I agree with you 100% about online BJ but the live dealer is pretty much like playing in a casino. Except for the fact that you get to hit on 9, 8 and split AA in the casino..

I played a little live dealer at Bet Phoenix once. Can't say I'm sold yet. you never completely see the shoe. Who knows what comes out

Thanks very much for your warning. IMO a malfunction should void the bet. Might be a pisser on a hand you would have won, but there are more losing hands than winning hands.

A more acceptable solution than to stand on a disconnect would be to play standard strategy for hit/stand, but not to double or split. I don't think it would be fair for a casino to increase the bet a player has made. But that deviates from standard strategy. I've argued myself back to Malfunction voids play.

Players should have their bets returned, especially when the casino can see you hit the buttons, not just abruptly terminated the session at your end because you didn't like the cards dealt.

Well, this service should have been designed to take account of internet related problems. Whilst they say they can't be held liable for problems outside of their control, they seem to say that players ARE liable for ALL internet problems outside of their own servers, even though players equally have no control over issues past THEIR local kit.

The operator CHOSE the location for their live studio, but I bet this was chosen on PRICE, rather than robustness of the internet service available between their studio and the players.

These live dealer games are CONSTANTLY under fire for such problems, and despite being around for some years, they have never managed to find a solution that is fair to players.

Such problems often lead players to believe the whole thing is "rigged", since the problems are more noticeable when they LOSE a hand because of them, so they come to believe that the problems are by design, and meant to kill off what is a winning hand by forcing it to become a losing one.

In this case, the delay didn't seem to affect the "chat" function with the dealer, who was able to call for a supervisor.

They cannot ever be certain that the delays are not "their fault", either directly, or indirectly due to their choice of location and software.

Well said, I know that it was not my connection that was at fault. My connection is extremely stable, I have a 45Mbps hard line that I pay $100 for every month. The fact is party has problems with their network I was looking on another forum and their poker site is constantly going down and tournament are being canceled half way though because of this.

They cant deny this however because they have thousands of players experiencing these disconnections. Whereas with the live BJ there are only a few players per table which makes it a lot easier for them to point the finger at the player. There was also another player at my table that was experiencing the very same problem.

I've also sent two emails asking to speak with a supervisor that have gone unanswered.

I can tell you guys evolution Blackjack is truly a scam with alot of fake players like BBIN. Go to their site and see how many tables and seats BBIN is occupying esp on the last seat. and dealer can have 20 21 Bj for 20 over hands straight and even you got 20 they will hit on 16 to get 21 or you have 21 and they will have BJ
