Betting your whole life on one roulette spin !!

oh man!! that wasn't for real?.... bummer:eek2:

lol. he was another "reality", fifteen minute famer. he was sponsored and had signed endorsement contracts before he ever placed a bet. i know this first hand as a friend of mine was approached for a different "reality" program and some of the people that were involved with the roulette guy were going to work on his project. the bet your life guy supposedly sold all his possesions, then a local film crew got involved, blah, blah, blah...scripted from day one. and an american company to boot. lol. my friend said no. they wrap you up pretty good with confidentiality contracts. we were blabbing about it before the interview. it would have never worked. i have met alot of those kids. real world, road rules kids, fear factor, all that junk. they tried to use real people in the early years for alot of those shows. they cast them all now. instead of waiting tables all your struggling actors are on reality television. :)

did he really sell everything? has he not saved enough for a flight ticket back home? or was he thinking of moving to the streets of las vegas? (he wouldn't be alone)

You can also do such a big deed. Just go in for double when you win the Royal Flush on Video poker. Does anyone dare to do that? :D

My question is not "Why would he bet his life savings on one roulette spin."

My question is "How did he do it without his wife slapping him silly?"

Crazy

He could not have possibly been married. I get mad when my husband buys insurance on the dealer's ace showing, playing five bucks.

Even if fake, pretty cool:thumbsup:

Hiya: This was on the News here, and several Casino's in town, Refused to take the bet, citing, "Irresponsible gambling". Ch 3 news reported that it was looking like, No One in Las vegas would let him make the bet......

What i want to know is this. If it was Rigged for him to Win, how did he choose the color, and how did the Ball, "magicly/rigged", manage to fall into that colored slot?

easy, they are all actors/figurines and the shot was redone a few times till the desired color fell...
or casinos cheat!
also possible:)
less probable though..
and dont forget we live in the age of the 3d-virtual-rerendering-and-close-to-reallife-imagery-photoshop-era!

But in Reality....

Any other person walking in, no crowd, no hype, dropping 100K or more on one spin, and that baby is coming up 0 or 00. I would have died laughing if that would have been the case there. That's more like how plenty of lives have played out in Vegas. More so than those who "bet it all" and win big for sure.

Also, the fact that it just "happened" to come up 7 red. Cmon! Suspiiiicious!
