Just received a very strange email from Betfair advising I'm no longer allowed to play live casino or receive live casino promotions! I don't even play live casino!

Tried to contact chat and received the response it's a business decision

Anyone else receive it?

I got it too. It’s just like the emails we all got earlier in the year advising we were no longer entitled to arcade promotions. I’ve never played their live casino games

Thats what I couldn't understand! The email reads a little like you've done something wrong when in fact all you've done is avoid the wanky live casino!

I've played their Live games a couple of times. They'd give me £5 or so to dabble in Blackjack.

Proved to be short-lived as co-players would stick on 14 and shizz while the dealer would pull out subsequent 20s & 21s

Yo. Used to work for them. Knowing their lovely automated email systems, I'd bet a pound on the exchange saying that it's sent by accident

Well I did actually check the live section and promotions and both were present and correct, he also couldn't see the email on my account I had to email screen shot

If you read it again - the email isn't banning you from Live Casino entirely, but from their own branded tables (and thus from any promotions they run, as they rarely apply to the networked tables).

The easiest way to check would be to open one of the Live Casino lobbies - if you don't see any of the 10 blackjack or 2 roulette tables, then the ban applies to you.

I have played both their branded and networked tables a bit and I would say you are not missing much. Having seen some of the cash cows they have at lower stakes - including a guy hitting on a hard 20 into a dealer 6 (and instead of the dealer busting and everyone wins, the dealer finds 21 and everyone loses) - they clearly don't need people who don't play or that vaguely understand the game!

I like that thinking. Hitting on hard 20 eliminates pretty much any margin for error

It's also extremely imbecilic

Hopefully the people being excluded are the assholes who keep asking the dealer where the "lucky card" is during lucky card promotions, and take up seats without playing when it's close.
