i finally got a check form bodog and it took approx 5 weeks.. i cashed it and 4 days later i got a email from customer service at bodog stating the check was not cashable. i called bodog and was told that when i got a statement stateing the funds were NFS then fax them the paperwork and they would reimburse me with a new check including any NSF fees. i am glad bodog is making things right but i hate all the hassle of going to the bank and covering a bad check.

I agree this totally unacceptable. I rarely visit banks or even use cash in general these days, the prospect of having to go to a bank and sort out the hassle of bounced checks from a reputable casino would be too much for me. An experience like that with a Casino would mean bye bye to said casino. If a check bounces it means the accont has insufficient to pay and that would make me extremely nervous, particularly if it was a large amount.

Hi Reda -

You live in Houston, USA. All of the casinos have to use various 'colorful' techniques to get us payments. It's happened before, but sometimes checks that are drawn and mailed end up no good by the time you try and cash them. I know it's not fun, but I think you have to have a certain amount of patience and flexibility right now. At least you're dealing with a fairly reputable entity in Bodog, and they are being up front with willingness to pay your costs. When it gets settled, you might ask a manager for a casino comp too, it can't hurt.

If you were dealing with a flakey outfit on the edge, this might be a very bad omen that would lead to months of lip service, so again, be thankful.

I do hope this gets cleared up for you very soon. Keep the faith.

Wow, I may have that beat, just today.

One particularly inept casino (in the Virtual Group), couldn't process a click2pay withdrawal several weeks ago. Requested a check withdrawal, it waited around for a couple weeks (Virtual Group, mind you).

Today I find out that the money was sent via Western Union (?!). But only the first $1000. The rest is back in my casino account. And I have requested another check withdrawal.

I'm going to head to a WU right now. Haven't used them WU, this should be interesting!

thanks for all the imput . i think ill try club world or inet because they do eco withdrawls . and it might be better than requesting a check. havent tried the wu yet but in the future i will. thanks again.

Incidentally, I was not able to get the WU payout, because I was outside of the "service area" (back home), and I'm out of town this week for business. I also got funny looks for not knowing the city/state/country it was sent from, but I think I could have talked my way through that.
