Hi,

there is this new and also old slot out in difference RTG casinos, which is the very old known "Aztec's Treasure" Slot, but now with 25 lines, instead of 20 and they're now fixed and you have also a "Feature Win Guarantee" after every 150 spins, although you can get the feature certainly also before this 150 spins and then the next Feature Guarantee Spins begins again to count from 0-150 :)

Had anyone luck with this brandnew slot? ;)

Ok, i've tried it now at Intertops for FUN and could find a very bad glitch.
If you play with Autoplay and get the free spins only after these 150 spins, then there comes a screen, that you've won the free spins and after this your Autoplay is automatically stopped and that's really very nervy, because you must click the spin button manually :(

After spinning possibly up to 150 spins then what is the guarantee, that you will win at least $1.50?
I just don't trust any RTG anymore.

No, only that you'll get the feature, which are 5 free spins with 3x multiplier, so you could also get $0,00, because you got even not any win for starting this feature, since there are not any scatters when starting the free spins after 150 normal spins, so there's not at least a scatter win :(

At the other side i really don't understand, why they make now a third Aztec Slot, because we had now two (The normal Aztec's Treasure 20 lines slot and the Aztec's Million slot)
Maybe they'll make now every slot with this guarantee feature, but what does this feature help, when you get only every 150 spins a feature, which pays out nothing? *lol*

I think its quite a neat idea but two questions: firstly, somewhere something would have to give surely to miantain the expected return? Secondly, do you have to spin at a fixed bet size? Or else you could spin 149 times at 20cents then up it to $100 on the 150th spin ;)

Hi eu_lowroller,

You can choose to play the Feature Guarantee at any stage during your game. You simply click on the "Play" button (top right). The meter next to this shows your chance of hitting.

When you click "Play" this will activate a roulette wheel and if you land on a green symbol/light you get the feature. If you miss a green light then the 150 spin counter resets itself. The further into your 150 spins you are the higher the % and the more green lights there are to hit.

So there are now 3 ways to get the feature on this game.

Hit 3 or more scatter symbols
Get to 150 spins
Play the roulette chance game

I hope that this information is of some help. There are more details Old / Expired Link.

Simmo: You can only play on max lines ;)

No fixed BET size, only fixed LINES (25) but you can choose if you want to play with 25 cent or 50 cent bets and so on, although certainly the counted spins starts always from 0 on any bet size, so your system doesn't work and btw. i've tried it also for myself :D
But the if you go again down to a another bet size, the last spins were saved so you must not begin again with a 150 countdown ;)

@inetbet, thanks for your info, because i've even never seen this 3rd option for the free spin roulette chance *lol*

OK logical. Same principle as Super Diamond Mine if memory serves me right.

Hi Simmo,

Yes kind of :) but that was the only way to hit the feature on that game.
You had to collect a certain number of diamonds to play the feature.

Here the standard way to hit, via scatters, is still in place. If they hit then the spin counter returns to 150 again.

Hope that help.

Hmmm I think I am in two minds about this idea. Firstly part of the excitement of playing slots is that the free spin feature could be the next spin. The anticipating, waiting for the final reel to slow down hoping for that third scatter to land.

5 spins x3 multiplier doesn't seem much, does it have 1 or 2 fixed expanding wilds or a superhold?

On MG's tomb raider 2 slot, its a bet average while your waiting for the 5 to light up, but least when you hit this feature it usually pays well.

Yes eu_lowroller 0 x 5 x 3 = 0.00 Will check it out on free play and see what happens.

You got only 5 free spins, when you hit 3 scatters, for 4 scatters you get 15 and for 5 scatters 25 free spins, BUT for every scatter, which appears during the free spins, you get an additional free spin, that means, for 1 scatter 1 additional, for 2scatters, 2 additional for 3 you get 5 for 4 you get 15 and for 5 than 25 additional free spins + scatter win pay, so it's not so bad :)

expanding wilds are even during the game, not only in the feature and these are only on reel 2, 3 and 4 :)

But here are the full rules:

Hi Meisters,

It is an interesting idea to guarantee feature after certain number of spins. We all know how it could be annoying not hitting the feature after few hundreds of spins. Of course, getting low return after finally hitting the feature, is even more annoying.

I saw this thread today, and decided to run a little test on this game. Started with around $40 balance. After few spins, I hit the feature with around 20-25x return. My "feature guaranteed meter" has been reset to 0.

Then, this nice win got me more playtime.

After a while, I hit the feature again which again reset my "feature guaranteed meter" to 0. Again, the return was around 20-25xbet. I was persistent to get the feature by reaching 100% at meter, and my balance started to decrease. Thanks to few 40-50xbet wins (including the one bellow) I managed to keep my balance between $150-$200.

Finally, my meter reached 100% and feature triggered:

Link Removed ( Old/Invalid)

Result:

Link Removed ( Old/Invalid)

And the last thing I wanted to try was the "Roulette Chance" game. When I reached 60% at meter, I activated it and won.:) But again, return on feature was not so great.

Result:

Link Removed ( Old/Invalid)

So, all-in-all, I have seen better result in naturally winning the feature, then by "guaranteed". Of course, this is very small sample to get some conclusions. I didn't want to experiment more. I stopped my play at $150.

@ultra1, very interesting, bcause i had the nearly same experience, but only in FUN play ;)

started with a $100 balance and could go up to $200 and it goes always a little bit down and then again up and so on, but you have really very much playtime and the feature triggers even very often, even without the feature guarantee, although sometimes the result of the free spins is not so good, but it can also be very good, so you never know :)

I played in fun mode at Inetbet, did get to the 0 and was deeply disappointed at the end of the round, just one good reason i wasnt playing for real, maybe they should have this Guarantee on all the RTG games, now that would be interesting:D:D .................laurie

Thanks Ultra100 for the screenshots.

Okay I downloaded just to see this feature on fun play as well. IMO it has a plus and minus to it.
The plus: that you are guaranteed to get the bonus round.
You can also try for the bonus round on the roulette wheel before hitting the 150 spins.

The minus: There is no turbo speed to get the count down quicker.
The bonus round is the same as it would be without the feature. For having to play to 150 spins it would be nice to get more than just the 5 spins as many players will not necessarily get the extra spins during the round.

Lastly, it is a sad statement that you have to have a feature like this to gaurantee a player a bonus round. But since you have added it, then it should be on all games as they all should guarantee/give a bonus round eventually.

Simmo hit the nail on the head here, at what price to the regular payouts is this feature having on the game.

Having the extra spins for extra scatters is good, but I personally would rather wait for the free spins to come along naturally, such as getting 15 spins x7 etc on other slots where you have a shot at a decent win.

But its a novel variation and im all for that to keep these slots entertaining.

Ammended eu_lowroller, was the way I worded it, I was referring to other slots as a comparison.

Thanks

Mike

I'm a fan! :)

Well, after hitting a RJ on Paydirt yesterday at Jackpot Capital, and having a little money to mess around with, I decided to give this new version of Aztec a try. I guess I'm Mr. Lucky this week because not too far into it, I hit the RJ on it! Gotta say I'm loving Jackpot Capital right now!!!

I got 10 free spins the 1st time I played and went 150 spins without a feature, so it looks like you can trigger one of the three different scatter awards.

LooneyTunez, nice hit! I've probably done a million spins on RTG at this point and never won a RJ.

This game isnt random at alll. Go spin in free mode. Hit the Stop button right when the reels starts spinning. It will display an entire different screen then when you pressed stop.

Thats because what you see when the reels are spinning is an animation purely for show. It's not indicative of the reels themselves. Its the same on a lot of games. Watch Microgaming reels spin closely on something like Thunderstruck (they are very fast) and you will see it's the same basic animation on all reels on every spin. Or go to Playtech, start a spin, then click SPIN again to stop the reels and you will see the reels land totally different to the animation, just the same as IGT slots in your local B&M. The symbol lineup is pre-determined the moment you hit SPIN and the animation is totally irrelevant and one would imagine, where a user can intervene, impossible to synch.

Actually RTG slots do show the true reels, at least when it goes to the slow mode spin when you need a specific symbol for the feature, it's quite possible to predict if you will hit just from watching the symbols that flash by. But of course stopping makes no difference.
