I have just lost another 30 quid with only 163 spins played on 30p bet.

Highest win as been £2.40 (8x) and that was from merlin coming on and waving his stick about.

I still havent got the last bonus feature, so thats around 800 spins since i last defeated the black night and only got 25x bet for that.

I have only had 2 scatters 3 times.

Going to try with my last 30 quid to get the last bonus.

Same outcome as last time, after 4 hours of play i had the exact same starting balance (30p spins). So imo, it seems lowish variance but i hope someone will be playing it long enough to state otherwise.

These were my paytable stats after approximately 500 spins. Judging by those Betsafe offers, all the higher 5OAK's (with no wilds) seem as rare as Michael's on IR (even though I did hit one).

Those rewards do appear generous all the same (assuming there isn't a minimum stake).

Very strange win on Avalon II, the Jack was acting as an Ace, anyone else see anything like it? but besides that not impressed, lots of fraction of bet wins are annoying and very slow game play, visually nice slot though

Similar thing happened to me. The symbol on thrid reel expanded and paid 12x bet but I could not see any winning combinations.

Doubt it paid that symbol paid win for an A as that would impossible. But seems that any spin you get the expandable on middle reel will payout x3 no matter what.

PS that screen shot shows win of 0,90? which is 3x if bet was 0,30

Graphs superb,running smoothly for me on my quadcore laptop,awesome music,exciting bonusrounds (can pay nice I suppose) but the amount of empty spins,very very hard to trigger features and hard to get top paying symbols makes this machine a monster,I think many bankrolls will go bust on this one.

I am really annoyed as I expected so much from this slot.

I think MGS will get a lot of negative feedback on this one.

I wont give up on it yet but it better starts warming up soon.

Just took me 499 spins to get the last bonus feature.
So with yesterdays play it has taken approx 1500 spins.
Paid 102 x bet
Only because it locked the last wheel, if it didnt unlock it then you could be looking at a maximum of around 33x bet.
It then flashed up an amount of over 100 quid and I thought great, you must get a decent bonus for completing all the rounds.
No, it was just a total of all bonus rounds played dammit.

It's too early to call it for sure overall on this one, but having given it about three thousand spins in free play last night this is clearly not a low variance slot - let's make that much clear.

The max pay (as has already been noted) and assuming it's on the paytable (it's certainly on the reels) for all five reels stacked wild is 16200x stake. Low variance slots do not have 16200x stake pay potential. (We'll run on the assumption that the dude won't turn up with a multiplier for that.)

Having done a couple of loops of all the bonus rounds (and taking a different route where you get the choice so I've seen them all), my early impression is that MG have attempted to tame the insane variance of their slots with bonus rounds that tend to pay reasonable wins but are capped, so that even if the base game is being cruel to you, the bonus rounds will at least kick a bit of something back. (Although the free spins round certainly appear to have big pay potential.)

It's possible that they've lowered the frequency of big pays and distributed that RTP further down the paytable, which may well be where the 'balance maintaining' sessions are coming from, but it's effectively impossible to make a call on that after such a tiny spin sample.

I managed a 335x win on the base game during my 3000 spins, and assuming the reels are 'fair' there are clearly far bigger hits than that in there.

Let's wait to see the screenshots of this one as the days and weeks move on, because I suspect we'll be seeing some whoppers out of this slot.

(Aesthetically I think it's lovely, needs to be in quick spin for the base game but overall the graphics, sound and music are extremely well done IMO. I can imagine the capped bonus rounds getting pretty tedious when you're losing badly and need a big hit to recover, but that'd be a case of understanding that not all the bonus rounds are capable of doing that, and remembering that the base game is always immediately capable of dropping a whopper into your lap.)

I definitely had a 12x win without any winning combinations. The expandable symbol landed on reel 3 and it blinked while the win counted up. I could not see any winning combinations.

I should be able to locate it in playcheck so will be interesting to see what the payout was for.

Four stacked wild reels alone would easily land a win north of 1000x, just as many other mixtures of wilds on all 5 reels (and that's not including the potential multiplier).

There are many monster wins hidden in that slot but when you have a slot that can pay in the base game at least as much as the IR's Wild Desire bonus, you have to expect to not see these wins very often.

Is there any other slot that has the potential to pay this much in the base game? Girls With Guns isn't even close and neither is TDK. This might be the highest variance slot ever released by MGS; with small wins, low paying bonus rounds and rare HUGE wins that are hijacking a large part of the RTP, progressive jackpot style.
