So sad...

I learned to love SF and Fantasy from his work. I was just a kid (I was a voracious reader and was well past Dick and Jane books by 1st grade) when I first read some of his work... in an anthology I found after sneaking into the 'grown up's' section of our little public library. (The librarian phoned my mom for permission before I was allowed to check it out. LOL) Because of Bradbury, I moved on to H.G. Wells... Asimov... Zelazny... Malzberg... and on and on....

I never realised he was still alive!

I don't think I ever read any of his full-length novels - but as a very keen science-fiction reader in my late teens, I read a lot of short story compilations including his works. Definitely one of the greats of the Sci-Fi world.
