New Slot Announcement Archangels: Salvation by Netent

At least Netent is trying some different stuff.
That said, a slot like Asgardian Stones is not very amusing to play and I find the win potential not really mind blowing.
Shall check your new video Dunover.

Honestly - i think that's just a poor attempt to be different... but it's not actually that different.
It's just a random wilds game with a trigger for the wilds...

holy cow. its honestly the worst game i have ever played. and i played Finn and whatever too.

Played it well over 1000 spins in demo yesterday. it was horrible, had one win over 15x (and 3 full rows of that girl angel thing is 15x). had like 50 teases no free spins

today i played it at both Casilando and Rizk, started at $115 , 40c - 80c bets and not a single win of over 10x and no free spins either. I had 2x double wild feature that manged to pay peanuts, even if second one had archangel symbol all over the place it still couldnt connect even with like 80 extra wilds added. It just kept adding wilds on places that were either no win or covered by big symbol already.

once again ive had over 20 dead spins in a row on first play of new Netent and generally speaking hit ratio is probably around 10% and it can pay as low as 1/20th bet.

Too bad because production value is kinda ok, but getting stuff like 40 lines of something just to pay 2,8x, after 20 dead spins... its just too tilty and just not fun at all. Its not that i cant take a beating, my fav slots are merkurs and novos afterall but this is just something ... bad.

It really is a horrible, horrible slot and it really makes me wonder do netent developers actually play their slots at all?

When I read the early announcements that the slot will have 100 pay lines (a first for Netent), I thought that they will finally come up with a Bonanza contender or at least something in the ball park. The Wild feature has potential but then the line pays are just abysmal.

375x bet for a full screen over 100 pay-lines won't have players lining up to hit the reels on this one. Plus no multiplier, no re-triggers in the Free Spins.

I did some 5,000 test spins to write my review and was thoroughly bored, vowing that I will never play it for real money!

Great graphics and awful mechanic. I told you all it was utterly dreadful, an execrable slot. If they stop using St*rb*rst as a math model we may see some more exciting games. I mean why not reduce the pays again by 50% and make it 18-rows high? Totally pointless egg-timer, nothing to see here so move on.

It would be interesting to know how much the CM hatred of games correlates to the performance of those games in casinos...
My guess is it probably doesn't correlate that much ;)

True.

What people say and what people do are often totally opposites! - Take Bonanza for a perfect example, slagged off daily yet we all continually blow our balances on it.

Starburst is pretty much hated by this community, yet continues to remain a "top earner"

Starburst is the slot that has received the most bets this year at TradaCasino. In addition, it was played by the highest number of individual players, so its not just a small number of Starburst fanatics messing with the figures.

I'm not a fan Starburst myself, but its been consistently number one for as long as I can remember!

the thing is, bonanza is actually a good slot. most btg slots are. For all its faults bonanza even if it doesnt give features can keep your balance alive for a loooong time.

Ive played bonanza for 10s thousands of spins and ive never had as many dead spins in a row compared to just first 100 spins on this abomination. All that while it doesnt offer even 1/10th of bonanzas potential?

It has everything you dont want in a slot. Low pays for what looks like full screen of %$(#. Random features that can take ages to come (extra wilds) that pay peanuts and too many teases because 2 scatters dont pay anything so... why not?

so yeah im sure people still play slots that are not well received here, but im also 100% positive this one wont go in the books as one of the greatest slots ever made. Or as a good slot at that.

it all boils down to... new slot that has low max win potential, 1/10 or so hit rate and tons of extra tilting things about it. Why on earth would you play this one instead of 100's of other slots out there? How many new netent slots are actually still played? Finn? This one? assguard stones?

Yeah, but Starburst is the slot nearly all casinos use as their "promo" slot for new players. So it's not surprising...

I don't think that is the only reason. I was hooked at Starburst too when it came, and if it hadn't been for cm where I learned that it was pointless to play it, I would still play it I guess.
For some reason I think especially women like these kinds of slots. We like easy and good looking slots :)

Until you add BTG games......

I mean, if St*rb*rst is that popular it shows how the playing public have been hoodwinked and conditioned to crap over their gambling careers. It's a simple game, designed for simpletons too and has been mercilessly flogged to new depositors whom it's assumed will be baffled by anything more complicated. It's also 'safe' for promotions as firstly it's never been recorded to have paid its whopping 500x bet top prize and secondly due to the game mechanic, volatility and math model it will almost certainly bust every fool who tries to wager a bonus on it.

St*rb*rst is simply fodder for casinos and that's why over 20 developers have a version of it. The game is evil.

If other players take solace in Starburst and its kind then that's their problem for not researching what else is out there. Reason Starburst and its ilk are popular is its visual endearment and simplicity. It's good 'bait' for new punters who've never played slots before.

That's not to say it doesn't deserve to burn in hell. Fact is most players end up frequenting CM to learn what good slots are out there. Other than Starburst of course

Max pay of 375x you say? Feature must be pretty frequent then, dunover had a couple in his 12 minute review right?

Well it took me 1330 spins to trigger my first feature, which paid 3x bet.

Lost $500. Must have had two scatters fifty times or more. No decent basegame hits.

I am done with netent.

Dan VS can verify my stats.

No need for Dan to verify anything anymore. Videoslots have added a new RTP feature to the site. You can check your RTP for any game by searching for it by going to "My Profile" & then "My RTP". Search the game and you will find all your stats for it

NotEnt are the worst provider online, hands down. I'm still surprised to find people playing thier new releases.

Oh I know, that's where I got the 1330 spin figure from- I just meant incase anyone didn't believe me.

I know I could barely believe it.

That review I played 4-500 spins in I believe. 1300 is unlucky, but it staggers me as to why anyone would chase a game when say 50-150x bet down, it's a Netent and there's little chance of getting 100x in the feature anyway? It's basically like St*rb*rst and once down over 50x it's nearly impossible to recover, Netent egg-timer mechanic.
