It appears that Norwegian banks are now stopping transfers from online casinos. I'm waiting for a withdrawal from FrankFred who was approved on 17.05 which I still haven't received, their customer service know nothing is like talking to a wall, is it at all any Norwegian who has received their money lately?

I use Revolut personally as I've found no other thing really works with my DNB debit card, but I've heard about great issues with both deposits and withdrawals.

The casinos will find solutions, but it takes longer and longer as more and more payment providers are blocked.

I've also heard Norwegian affiliate sites are falling hard in profits as players are unable to make deposits due to the same ongoing issues.

Have not had any problems with deposits, worse with withdrawals unfortunately.

Wondering what happens to my withdrawal if I get the money back into the player account? right now it seems like they are floating around in fucking limbo:confused:

Hello @Casinofreak777

It's been happening to a lot of payouts lately, from many different casinos.

The Norrwegian Gambling Authority recently ramped up their efforts on stopping deposits and withdrawals:

I'll second @4048 in recommending Revolut,

I made several deposits to casumo, vera&john and guts casino this week, no problem whatsoever
Regarding deposits.
None of them have noticed me about withdrawal issues........ i would be grateful if they
Informed customers by email that there is an ongoing problem/issue.
I did not know about this.

Happy to be a member here,so i get this important information.

That's been ongoing issue some years already that Norwegian banks have been refusing to receive withdrawals from online casinos and ist' worse it have been taking some weeks to sort out all these. Many occasions playesr funds have been finally refunded back to casino account once casino have been receiving payment back from provider and some cases these had to be added manually one by one back to players account to withdraw and re-route it from other way to player.

That's terrible for players and also not nice to casinos either as loads of extra manual work to refund these, communicate customers and figure out how to complete these withdrawals that they are not declined by banks (and of course loads of not really happy players contacting support on daily basis when casino is not even able still to provide any 100% accurate update on issue. AFAIK, these have been so far sorted out on way or another, but keep appearing repeatedly.

Support (or even casino management) is most of the times not aware about these coming as banks not provide any insight that they start to decline these transactions from tomorrow, so many times casino staff is reading it from news or hear it from players who contact support and provide link like above. If i would be Norwegian, i would for sure go for Revolut (as i use pretty much for my other online transactions as well) or other methods which not include Norwegian banks.

Hope for all you Norwegian fellows that they could make their market regulated or find some othe solution to these really unpleasent issues. Don't know how Norwegian government is providing slots or other gaming facilities but could guess that variety of games, bonuses, service etc... is main reason why people want to play other available online casinos. By blocking these (especially withdrawals) just feels bit harsh solution, instead of regulate market, sell licenses and collect taxes like your neighbours started to do in Sweden.

A casino that informs you that there is problems with withdrawals prior to you requesting one. Now that would be a first. They are happy to take it but a lot of them don’t like giving back at the best of times. They won’t warn you of any problems because they don’t want your deposit going elsewhere.

In these Norwegian issues just case is that money is not in hands on casino anymore but payment refected by bank back to payment provider and can be "lost" until somebody is tracing it. That really is not beneficial for casino either, as mentioned earlier, taking loads of extra resources to add these back to players accounts and ask to complete new withdrawal etc...

At least previously most if not all stopped right away sending these payments when they noticed that these are not reaching players but area laying in payment provider, returnded by banks. And then figure out new way to route them to players. There might be some operators who are really slow at payments but this Norwegian bank issue is something what i haven't heard any casino management to be cheering as they don't have access to funds either but just extra work and huge amount of contacts to support and compensations to be paid at least VIP and other high value players can get quite high if issue is ongoing some weeks (and players who missing their funds tempt to ask understandably ask more and more compensation on daily or bi-daily basis.

I got my withdraw from Videoslots a few days ago, using bank transfer. But i'm having problems depositing at Videoslots, since Pass'n Go and Rapid is blocked by the bank. What do you guys use to deposit? Can't deposit into Neteller or Skrill if it's for gambling either.

All this hostility towards online casinos (and in effect, the player too) by certain countries... Is it because they'd rather people played at B&M casinos rather than money being sent offshore ala online? It's all about tax, right?

There are no B&M casinos in Norway.

The state want people onto the state-owned gambling monopoly.

Deposit to Neteller as non-gambling transaction, then go into your Skrill and deposit via Neteller (costs 0.5% fee) ...voila, you can deposit at casinos! :D

I have allready verified neteller with a few casinos, but i guess it works the other way around as well?

Damn annoying that they lie and promise something they can't keep.

Casinofreak: What is the latest status with the payment provider now?
Reuben: One moment please, I'll just check that for you!
Reuben: Are you referring to the withdrawal made on the 17th of May?
Casinofreak: yes
Reuben: Okay, I'm happy to inform you that you will receive the funds by the end of this week as the technical issues that we were facing have now been resolved!
Casinofreak: are you sure ?
Reuben: Certain, regretfully it took a significant amount of time to resolve the issue, although the time was necessary to ensure a functional alternative
Casinofreak: good to hear, thank you
Reuben: You're very welcome, I'm happy to be able to give the good news

June 7 and
still not received a shit.
what the hell can i do?
how can Norwegian banks and The Norwegian Gaming Authority be allowed to operate in such a way, Norsk Tipping
can do as they want with miserable payouts
fucking double standard!

This just gets more and more comical

11 June
Casinofreak: now i see that other gaming companies have put the money back into Norwegians player account, what have you done?

Harvey: We really do understand your frustration regarding this ongoing situation, however, rest assured that we are on top of a solution and we can confirm that all the payments should be at to your bank account by the end of the week.

Casinofreak: You said the same thing last week

Casinofreak can i speak to a norwegian ?

Harvey: Last week we informed you that the money will be there by the end of next week, now its a new week and we are therefor informing you that the transaction shall be at hand by the end of the week.

Casinofreak: No no no

Casinofreak: (3 JUNE ) Reuben: Okay, I'm happy to inform you that you will receive the funds by the end of This week as the technical issues that we were facing have now been resolved!

Harvey: However the money should arrive by the end of this week and we thank you for your patience in this situation. We understand that the unexpected wait can be frustration.

wondering if this will repeat next week? hahaha xD

It's just getting worse and worse. As far as I could tell, Fun Casino and Hyper Casino decided to remove VISA deposits completely for Norwegian customers.

the other day my salary was blocked as they suspect it's a gambling win.

I have an alternative solution fortunately but if DNB keeps blocking peoples salaries because it comes from Malta it's gonna be issues.

Its back mate, and a new solution on top of that is around the corner.

But its sad that even your salary got blocked, wow!

i will still recommend Revolut, it might even become my new banking service if DNB keeps this shit up.

Literally the only issue is the same as with any other virtual card, you have to wait for a withdrawal first to revolut, then wait the same amount of time for it to transfer from revolut to the bank (unless you keep it on the revolut which is also possible and convenient if you have a card).

My withdrawal has not appeared on either my bank account or back to player account.
i will not make any new deposit until this money is back; but it looks like they are just being sent back and forth and never going to land
