Thought I'd try out roulette69

Well I wont be depositing here that's for sure.

I was playing $1 a spin and ended up spending most of it on Pimp My Slot.
Granted I got the free spins 4 times (15 spins) and the bonus round twice. But really all this amounted to a lot of eye candy and nothing else.

For instance the bonus round a total of .10cents ($1 stake) you've got to me joking. The largest combined win I had on the free spins was $4.25 again for a original bet of $1 per spin.

Finally when I was down to zip I got 5 Jacks with a wild (x2 win) and that paid .40cents for a .20cent stake.

This place may pay-out quickly but as far as their slots are concerned or at least their slot pay-tables they suck big time IMHO!

Did anyone actually test these slots for their pay-out tables and fairness of pay-outs for stakes bet before this place was accredited?

That is really pathetic Trezz, lol. I did take a look at the terms of the offer, but when I saw that they will only pay winnings from the free offer via bank wire, I didn't even bother trying it out. If a casino won't pay to my Moneybookers account, or by cheque, I'm not interested.

I'm glad to see I wasn't missing anything. :)

Worryingly it would seem these "Orbis Games" are fixed odds and not random?!
Looking at their website Old / Expired Link or am I going mad and not understanding the term "fixed odds"?

These are the same games Lasseters had when they switched to Orbis Openbet.
They don't explain "fixed odds" on the website, but I suspect they mean the slots operate on the "bingo" principle, rather than reel stops being individually generated.

For example, the "bingo" game might award 2x bet, and the "eye candy" for the win would be the reels stopping on those 4 Jacks & wild. Many of the 500 Jackpot fruit machines here work on this principle, with each 20 line spin really being a bingo game with 20 cards. The cumulative result of the 20 bingo cards is then displayed as a multi-line slot win, or even a bonus round result.

Trezz is right about one thing though, these games "suck". There is not the thrill of the big wins, and many wins are a modest multiple of bet size.

The payout of these games is between 90% and 95%, as Lasseters had to publish these figures because their regulator told them to.

I didn't like the fact they were non-download, yet over 4 Megabytes, it took BLOODY AGES to switch games, and MY broadband speed made no difference - it seems THEIR end couldn't upload fast enough. I am not all that keen, therefore, on this new casino UNLESS they have an option to locally cache much of the flash content.

Yup, I agree.

I deposited only because they have been recently accredited here at CM, but Im very sorry that I did (sorry Bryan)

Im sure the payouts are great and maybe the table games are wonderful, but the slots are worse than Slotland IMO and that is scraping the bottom of the barrel. On one game, the highest win possible from the bonus game is 25x bet  and the line wins are truly awful to boot.

I checked out Old / Expired Link

And notice that they include slots into fixed odds games such as scratch cards, Hi-Lo, Keno and so on.

VWM makes a very good point, the roulette69 slots all operate on fixed odds. The same as playing bingo (and all the games mentioned above).

One thing is for certain these games are certainly NOT slot machines or bonus video slots either as roulette69 claims. Which (sorry Bryan) to me is deceptive.

This re minds me of the Slotland Video Poker fiasco. Where it was learnt that the VP were pseudo slot machines and did not operate as Video Poker Games as everyone was led to believe.

Cheers

Paddypower has the Orbis slots too in the "Games" Tab, it says there for the Pimp-Slot:

"The maximum payout for this game is 250,000/375,000. The long-term, average expected RTP % is 93.28%."

Thats very low for an Online Slot and is only beaten by Intercasino (near to 90% payout only).

Typical! after we all lose our ND bonuses on the Orbis slots, they go and get my fave of Microgaming! still, asked these guys to close my account because of the Orbis stuff, and them fobbing them off as slots I know and used to :(
