Hi,

I have only an American Express Card. Are there any online-casinos where I can pay with ?

I doubt you can find casinos accepting American express. They dont allow gambling transactions to my knowledge.

You're correct. (Taken from Link Removed (invalid URL) )

American Express has a long-standing policy against allowing gambling charges, and Visa has begun regular audits to guard against "7995" purchases, the credit card code for gambling transactions.

Is there not some kind of online wallet....Paypal type thingy that you could fund with your card....American Express would have no way of knowing it was to be used for gambling purposes surely? ;)

Good luck:thumbsup:

Alas, but not to my experience. When you try to fund your ewallet with Visa/MC/Amex etc., it is also coded as "7995" and declined. I used to be able to use my Visa issued by a Las Vegas bank but even that declines now. :(

Still catching up, I guess. Their website hasn't been updated in forever, either...at least for the games page - unless the max bet is still $0?

The Site

A couple of weeks ago, we hired a very successful design firm that has been toiling away on our new site. When it's finished, it will have a lot more information and be much more aesthetically pleasing.

I'm afraid I can't comment on how we take Amex because if we did, then everyone would know how to do it. I can only say that we do and you're welcome to try and see that it does. I've seen that most players commenting in this forum are non-US Citizens so processing issues may not be something you're familiar with. I apologize for being unable to comment further on it :)

Kind Regards,

Patricia.

You definitely get the Award for the year of digging up the oldest thread !!

I second that Rob. You must praise them for their diligence though. Unless Amex is off guard, I doubt this can continue as their stance against anti-gambling is harsh. I know, however, that in Macau, you can use Amex to buy chips thru various shops near the casinos and they are listed as jewellery/watches and you have genuine receipt for these You have to pay a commission from 8-10% though. With the commission pays, they might have the players wager at least 10 times the deposit before cashing out.:D:D

No Amex Surcharge or additional WR

Chuchu59,

No, my friend, we have no such limitations :) You're welcome to deposit with Amex, claim your bonus and the WR's are still at 12x. However, you're welcome to opt out of the bonus and then there is no restriction (cash-out or therwise) or fee for using Amex with us at all. We've had it up and running since we opened our doors and you're right, sometimes these things don't last forever but we've had a pretty good run so far :)

WRs at 12x? Is this for the 200% bonus or what? Is it (bonus) cashable? I dont see anything regarding this at the site.

Non Cashable Bonus

I think to be honest and fair with you, if you're a serious (professional/methematical) player, then I would recommend the Simmo method for playing at Rome. Our bonus is admittedly not designed to help advanced players. It's simply an incentive for new players to try us out.

And Vinyl, none of us intend to :)

BR,

Josh.

That's strange. I thought I asked a simple question and I get this. Oh, maybe by advanced you mean my age lol. As I said, I dont see the terms and conditions for the 200% bonus at the site so what is it?

As for Simmos' method, what I know is that his fav topic is anti reverse-withdrawal. Maybe he has others I dont know of.

This can be said of ANY casino, HOWEVER, advanced players can often come up with strategies that have not been thought of by the promotions team, and these may well be fully compliant with the terms and conditions, which all advanced players will have read before working out their strategy.

In the event that an advanced player beats a bonus, and does not break the rules, we expect them to be paid, but perhaps then banned from having another go with a reload bonus containing a similar vulnerability, after which, the promotions team should reconsider the rules.

Quite a few casinos lure players with a too good to be true bonus, but expect to get away with denying payouts on technicalities rather than having robust rules in place that might cost them non-advanced players, who will think the terms onerous.

200% at 12x seems pretty "vulnerable" to a few methods, given that there appear to be no rules other than the general casino rules governing play with it:-

I think you'd be better off starting a new thread instead of replying to one that's over 7 years old :D

does rome still accept american express?? anybody know???:notworthy

Visa, Mastercard & American Express (AMEX)
credit cards

Although Rome Casino accepts Visa International, MasterCard, and American Express (AMEX), and has no problems processing your card, some banks may limit their cardholders' transactions with online casinos, or the credit card companies themselves place restrictions on the amount of money you can deposit into and withdraw from the Casino. For this reason, we recommend that you open an alternative payment method for your transactions that will not limit your right of free purchase.

I mean wow I just Goggled that. Can you do the same?

so i found all <snip URL>
on this site - if you're looking for one
