No decided not too whether a crowd or not its this biggest betting day of the year with millions of viewers.....

Having said that only the bookies see that money and if they dont have a crowd then I guess it's not cost effective.

One thing I've never understand about Aintree is the lack of racing there other than the beecher meeting a a few summer night meetings there is never any racing there compare it to Haydock up the road and it's a fraction I may we all be wrong but I see it as the national meeting pays for itself so they dont have to do more and without they're doomed it seems

But would it had they ran it anyway? As they would still receive sponsorship so by not doing so they are covered

I think sponsorship would get a 80% refund based on what I've seen. Such a shame to see it postponed.

Cheers Charlie out of interest do you know why there is such a lack of racing there? I've no stats to back this up but I cant think of any other NH tracks that race less?
