Sorry if this is in the wrong place but im looking for a little help as google hasnt done a good job explaining it to me. I am really new at this and far from a regular affiliate.

Revenue share program.

If I have $2600 in deposits and $1000 in cashouts which is a $1600 loss for my players. Why is my account -$162?

Thanks for any responses.

Check out the various fees that are being deducted.

The $1,600 is gross gaming revenue from which a number of fees are deducted to make it net gaming revenue.

But for that $1,600 to turn into a negative is a little odd I must say.

Just want to clarify that GGR is Bets-Wins and not Deposits-Withdrawals. Depending on what loyalty scheeme the casino is running the difference between theese can be substantial.

Yes, you're right - my bad.

1. Depends on fees, some casinos charge ALOT more than others (hello videoslots)
2. How much do all your players have in their accounts? You see what you do, but someone could have £2200 in their account that they haven't withdrawn which would account for why you are seeing a minus.
3. Bonuses, you haven't included them in your figures above.
4. Neg rollover?

This is why there should be a proper law for all affiliate programs to be transparent.

Yes they are not allowed to show players information personal details etc. But each referred player could just have a number. And then there should be a demand of everything has to be listed. So that would be deposit, withdrawals also what is in each player account. Any freebies given to that player or whatever. Also every single deduction should be specific listed.

We can already see at AffiliateGuardDog what a joke many of these affiliate programs are. You can have 40% revenue share but what you really get is between 5-20% and who knows if players are shaved or removed etc. We will never know as affiliates.

I will not mention the affiliate program but i have feeling that i have been shaved (shaved means they detach a player you referred) I was earning regular every month from 2-3 players and 1 was a high roller for months and suddenly went away. Now suddenly after constant earnings every month the other 2 very active players has gone inactive. Don't tell me this is just random and they stopped playing closed their accounts. I really don't believe that.

This is also why that we should be told if a referred player closes their account etc. And should have proof of that as well.

We really need a very strict regulation for Affiliates and i really hope something will happen very soon. For UK affiliates it looks doomed anyways the way UKGC are acting. Hey how about helping us affiliates as well????

Even though im not really an affiliate I agree with your rant lol.

The thing is, is if alot of these sites try and screw me, I will know because alot of them are friends of mine and tell me where when how much they deposit if I ask when checking to make sure its tracking right. I dont usually ever ask as I dont like to pry into my friends business but if something isnt showing, then i ask questions.

So far since starting streaming, i had one affiliate manager go completely awol on me. Wont respond no matter what (dreamjackpot) and one right now where one of my friends showed me their deposit and them signing up through me yet I didnt get any kind of activity on my account. This person was registered under me already and won and loss and the person numbers moved. But his recent deposit did not appear or numbers change. So I left them a message 4-5 days ago (ivyaffiliates) and havent got a response yet. So I think there is a certain amount of fraud going on in this part of the industry.

Dont wanna trash them all because there some very good ones out there that I have dealt with too.

I don't know so am genuinely asking this question, but is it first or last click with them? If its first how do you know he hadn't already clicked another affiliates link?
If you mean you can see his user name on your affiliate backend then that would be dodgier and I would want answers. But be careful how you phrase it, some affiliate schemes don't allow you to refer friends (for obvious reasons).

It was a new account so that one person was my first sign up before I advertised it anywhere. And then when making a 3rd deposit it never showed up.

Thank you for the advice too.

Im not really an affiliate like its my job or anything. I just have casinos on my twitch channel for people to sign up to if they want because people always ask..... but I am trying to make sense of it all and make sure everything is on the honest side of things.

I've never even heard of those 2, let alone worked with them.
How did you come to be promoting them, may I ask?

That missing deposit is definitely VERY dodgy

Why don't you use CM's accredited list? He even has links there for the affiliate programs.

Moved this to the Webmaster's corner - adding the OP to the Webby user group so he can participate here.

They are caddell. Miami Dice, Spinland, spinstation etc.

Also, if someone can answer me this, I had an email this morning from an affiliate manager saying their new policy is to require affiliates ID. This is a snippet from the email. Is this a normal request?

A reply by email confirming the Individual's Country of residency; and

Full name, with a copy of a valid Government-issued colour document for that individual, such as Passport, ID Card or Driver’s Licence,
If you operate under any other basis, save for a Limited Company (or similar), or as a sole trader/ individual, then please contact us immediately so that we can confirm what documents are required.

Please provide us with the above documents as a matter of urgency, and in any case, no later than 30 days from the receipt of this letter. Please send the documents in reply directly to this email.

Unfortunately, should you fail to reply within this time period, then we may be forced to suspend marketing activity with you and suspend payment of commission owed to you until we receive the information required. Once the necessary documents have been received, any suspended commission payments will then be processed.

It's just KYC, something they should have done long ago. If you don't reply they will close your account so make sure you do. Most casino's are doing this now.
