Hi Gang

Geez these ND signup bonuses are getting worse.

Get $50.00 FREE (no deposit necessary)
Get $50.00 free. If you meet the playthrough and minimum cashout requirements, you may be required to make a small deposit in order to verify your account information. No additional wagering will apply. The small deposit does not apply to any minimum cashout requirements.

Maximum 1 bonus per household/computer/person. Minimum deposit required to withdraw (for fraud prevention)
100x bonus playthrough ($5000)
Playthrough is the amount that must be wagered (put at risk) before you may cashout.

Unless otherwise stated, 1 credit wagered in a game counts as 1 credit toward playthrough requirements. Play at the following games, and any variants, does not count towards playthrough requirements and winnings may be considered null and void: Roulette, Blackjack, Sicbo, RedDog, Baccarat, PaiGow, War, ThreeCard, LetItRide, Videopoker, Craps, DoubleUp, CaribStud, Slot Progressive.
1x minimum cashout
You may only cashout amounts greater than your deposit plus 1 times the bonus. For example, if you deposit $100 and receive a $100 bonus with a 1x cashout, you may cashout any amount greater than $200. Additional deposits, reversals, bonuses or comp point redemptions do not count towards this minimum cashout restriction.

The maximum you may withdraw is 50
A maximum cashout applies. For example, if you receive a $10 bonus and the maximum cashout is 10x the bonus your maximum cashout is $100. Any balance remaining after your cashout will be removed from your account.

Any funds over the maximum cashable amount will be removed automatically on cashout.
The following games and any variants may have different table limits while this promotion is active: Roulette, Blackjack, Sicbo, RedDog, Baccarat, PaiGow, War, ThreeCard, LetItRide, Videopoker, Craps, DoubleUp, CaribStud, Slot Progressive
Your table limits may change while this promotion is active.

Valid from 2009-05-13 00:00:00 to 2012-05-13 23:59:59. Promotion may be expired by casino at any time.
The casino's general terms and conditions apply

I dont object to cashout limits on freebies, but this is ridiculous.

Interesting they say make a small deposit to verify the account information, but don't actually tell you how much it is you need to deposit in order to be able to cash out the bonus. As for x100 WR for slots play, that really is a joke. Kills it stone dead.

I think these casinos must think the players are obsessed with bonuses, I have just had a Christmas promotion come through from Betfred. A so called 12 days till Xmas special. Guess what? its 12 days of bonuses. Deposit day 1 get 25% match, day 2 you get 50%, day 3 is 75% and day 4 is 100%. Then it resets back to 25% on the 5th day of the promotion. Also the 25% match is x9 playthrough and the 100% match (which you only get by making 4 consecutive deposits is x25 playthough).

So if you play here and dont take bonuses, then you are left out in the cold.

The above is an example of how casinos must think we all sit there and rub our hands together with joy, when we receive these promotions.

The old saying is "oh its the thought that counts" its a bit like your boss giving you a 5 Christmas bonuses, sure you got something extra for nothing, but it would be an insult for all your efforts throughout the year. Far better to give something meaningful than something that resembles a bad Christmas cracker joke!

In my opinion all no deposit bonuses should not require a deposit for any reason. It's just an extension of the old "Get $1000 free" When in reality you're not getting any $ free. You are getting some free play chips and if you win a certain amount you are eligible for a deposit bonus. You get a 50 dollar free chip. It has a max cash out of 50 dollars. You grind out the WR. Then you're told you have to deposit 20 dollars to claim it. Now it's a 250% deposit bonus. Even if there's no WR, it's still a deposit bonus. One you had to work damn hard to get. You might as well have deposited the 20 in the first place and ground down the WR on a deposit bonus with a much higher max cash out. Either way the words "No" and "Deposit" should never have been used together in the offer.

And what's the deal with the 50% deposit bonuses I got for my birthday? "Happy birthday! Here's pretty much the same deposit bonus you can get anywhere on the planet." I don't really care but at the very least it seems kind of pointless and at worst some people might be insulted that they'd use your birthday as an excuse to try to suck you into taking a crappy deposit bonus.

I don't really have that many accounts anymore but a couple of casinos sent me a real free chip. Thanks guys.

The problem is they have spoiled the gamblers who consider a bonus a god's given right and aren't very eager to play without and at the same ignored the development of a large AP community mainly due to their own stupidity who is trashing the concept which is quite a dilemma.

If it's your first ND bonus that you win on and try to w/d, I don't really see this as an issue, as long as you can immediately withdrawal this confirmation deposit without any WR attached to it. I know Vegas Regal does this sort of thing, and they told me right out that I just needed to deposit $25, but could immediately withdraw that along with my ND winnings without playing .01 out of the deposit.

If it's your first withdrawal I can sort of see the logic but at the same time you need to give a ton of information to verify your identity anyway. So I still see no reason to deposit before withdrawing on a ND bonus.

AFAIK, Vegas Regal doesn't ask for any docs when cashing out a ND bonus...I'm assuming this is only the case if you've never deposited via CC/Debit card

Even if it was the LAST bonus in the world, I wouldn't take it :eek2:

Spoilt because players have a choice of bonuses on offer?

A casino is like any other online retailer, its business is to sell entertainment.
All retailers have sales, offers and promotions so why shouldn't casinos.

Saying players are being spoilt by bonuses is a bit like saying Macdonalds or KFC are spoiling its customers because they are constantly offering half price burgers. Supermarkets are also well known for their buy 2 get one free offers, never heard any shopper walking around Tescos or Walmart saying how spoilt they think they are. Infact the consumer demands these promotions or they will go elsewhere.

In a competitive market players do expect bonuses and rightly so, whilst I agree that you cannot be too critical with a ND, you can expect them to be reasonable, afterall I wouldn't expect to go into a pub after seeing a promotion on the door saying first pint free, then drinking it and finding out I have to pay to leave.

Since it is almost impossible to get rid of the concept without commiting suicide something must happen with (or to) the people that are causing the downfall.
