Where is all the hate coming from due to the name-I don't quite get it,there's been much worse names for casinos and everybody here knows it!

Other than that -bonus playthrough and all-I agree.

If you like it, then fine. It doesn't mean everyone else has to.

To me, it sounds like a mom-and-pop white label job, and I am entitled to my opinion....and the only person talking about "hate" is you.

Everybody knows there are worse names, but it doesn't mean it can't still be bad in some people's view. I don't know why you keep complaining about the fact that some people don't like a name that you like...?? What's the big deal?

My English isn't good enough to explain it fully, but lucky + win, it's like cheating people into thinking they will be lucky. well kinda.. it's more like stating something and (usually) giving them the opposite of it. Not saying this is the case here, just giving you a reason why people might hate the name..
Plus at least vernons is original (what's a vernon btw?), luckywin.. well what do you think :D

I know what you are saying, but to say a casino with such a name is rather judgemental,I don't know a hell load about casino's and have only been playing a year or so,but it seems a little tedious to just pick on the name.

If this casino turned out a 99% rtp (highly ulnlikely I know) would the casino name still sound as bad? Its obviously a new casino thats been allowed here, probably nobody knows anything about it yet forget about the DB and the rest of Niftys points (which he is correct may I add and I agree with) yet if those points weren't there we would judge the name?

Does it actually sound as bad as cool cat an the rest of them? Come on guys.

No offence Nifty-but to be fair-you hate everyone and their dog.You only have to look at the accredited/ireps list to look for some stupid names yet they are where they are.

To pick on a name is ludicrus.

The bonus-yes awful-I agree, the playthrough-abhorrent-I agree, the w/d from the n/d yes awful I agree they should all be sorted, but instead of picking at the stuff that might be decent (IE the name) why not at first simply suggest solutions for problems that are REALLY for the the players (and casinos-lets face it-they may come back) and see how the casino name stands?

Post #3 attacking others who don't like the casino name.

It's an opinion.

Nobody is "picking" on anything. I made one statement that I didn't like the name....so what? IMO you need to get past it and move on.

So I'm correct in the rest of what I am saying? (seeing as you bypassed it)

You make others post proof of a complaint when they make one against a casino quick enough Nifty-which is why I won't post a complaint here through your intimidation.

Plus you know your "opinion" carries a lot of influence here, which based on your "opinion" of the casino's name is hugely unfair as others will follow.

PS where was your "weird name" post when MR Green,Vernons etc came on board?

Obvious names they are!

Eh?

I'm not posting a complaint. I'm posting an opinion about a casino name. If you cannot see the difference between posting a complaint about not being paid or bonus terms or ID etc etc and posting that you don't like the name of a casino then....well I really don't know what to say.

The day that others blindly follow my opinion will be the day that fleecy jackets are required in hell.

The rest of what you were saying......that you agree with me.....well obviously I do think you're correct because, well, you agree with me. I would have thanked the post if it didn't take aim at me because I stated I didn't like the name.

FTR, if you don't post here often, it's because you choose not to do so. Don't use the old "I don't post because of xxxx" it's really old and it doesn't fly. I will respect, and always have respected, a logical and reasonable opinion and/or argument and enjoy debating issues. If you find my responses to you personally are negative in some way, you will find it is because I do not agree with your point of view, or that you have been unreasonable or negative toward me in some way. If you can provide examples of where I have "intimidated" you, then feel free to send them to Max or Bryan and they will punish me as they see fit.

As per request, I will now provide proof of the fact that I do not like the casino's name:

3. The casino name is.....well it doesn't inspire a lot of confidence.

I meant when others do.You're quick enough to jump on their backs, sometimes I actually think you are on commission-mentioning no casino's names.

Jeez it only took me a week to get 1 troublemaker award, when I joined here, after some trouble with you, after pleading with max/bryan I was still awarded this, when others still posted about your obnoxiusness (and they have less than 10 mins ago).Says a lot.

I don't hold your posts as garbage-most of them are highly valuable, but a lot are also highly condascending and talk down to people-many have said this before-you only have to do a quick search.

Why is this Nifty? At least Vinyl gives people the light of day-you don't-you jump on people quicker than the cotton of their shirt touches their back.

All this because of a casino's name?

And yes the fact you don't like the casino's name (quoting your own opinion!) must prove they are indeed non-trustworthy.

All hail.

If the rtp turns out to be 99% then it would be a fitting name (but still a lame one)

= lame as well (eh I mean you stating this)

Silencio-I've nothing against you-same with Nifty-believe it or not,I just don't think I-reps posts/members posts should be shot down with such haste.

The 99% was used as an example-therefore irrelevant.

As to the latter part, you evidently haven't done a search nor had mails from people. This happened the first time around too-my bro has had comments from Nifty he has saved-this is coincidence?

As I stated he does have hugely great posts, and relevant posts, the borderline abusive/insultive posts are the issue.

Again I ask,how is this casino name any worse than the successful Mr Green/Vernons etc?

Well you know what my most valuable lesson in life is, when people (even friends) bitch on you for being a certain way, it's usually them who have a problem with it themselves.
Example, people who are huge egomaniacs will tell you you should think about other people more than about yourself.
Or fat people complaining about how other people eat too much..
It's very common.

Or people not to be judgemental on one characterisation. This could well turn out to be a damn good casino (I may eat my words-happily if people win)

Until then,on the bet of a name,I shall refrain from judgement.

Hopefully they will change the aforementioned of Niftys.

Apologies for the double post but I think I slightly misread your post first time round-for this I will apologise-I should read things more carefully.

I automatically assumed in my haste you were slating me-this was not my intention.

@PNEFOREVER2: hard to believe it is necessary to say this but here goes: someone else's OPINION of a thing is just that, an opinion. If you don't like it then saying so once, if you must, is sufficient. Turning it into the crime of the century and completely derailing someone else's thread to do so is totally uncalled for.

Once you've made your initial comment on the offending opinion -- again, if you must -- then either use the Report Post feature or keep the rest of your grumbles on said topic to yourself. Polluting the forums with a bunch of pointless bitching and moaning is shamefully juvenile and most unwelcome.

It case you missed it look at the bottom of any post:

And FYI, not liking a casino's name and saying something about it is hardly anything new. Have a look in the Rogue Pit, more than a few casinos have been singled out for their questionable choice of name. Pamper Casino and Golden Shower Casino come immediately to mind. There have been a good many others.

:eek2:

Lol, WTF were they thinking?

Just to chim in - I actually think Mr Green is quite a clever name for an online casino and Vernons is a pretty well known name in the UK (they've been running football pools since the 1920's).

I'll be honest, 'casino lucky win' does sound like someone put a bunch of casino related words in a bag and pulled them out at random - no offence, buddy! :p

Golden shower LOL. I love it. Surely they're taking the p*ss??

The more I think about the casino we're talking about, the more it sounds like a casino translated from an Asian language into English....kinda like some Chinese restaurants like Lucky Golden Tiger or House of Dim Sim etc.

While we're on the subject of odd restaurant names, there are a couple in the city both owned by Vietnamese called "Phat Dong" and another called "Phat Ho Pizza". :eek2:

A friend of mine is a policeman and on the first day out on patrol they pulled over a fellow and asked for his licence....and the name was "Yu Phat Phuc" which made for some interesting conversation after the shift I'll bet. I'm sure other countries make fun of our names too so please don't think I'm being racist etc.

Names can also be funny when they are translated.
An examle is another forum I was a member of. The guy who was running it had a name that in Swedish is the same as Suck:eek2:
Sometimes it's hard to call someone that, or even to take them serious:p

My father in law's name is randy and as a brit I found this very funny - especially when he introduced himself by saying "hi, I'm randy". :p

My wife wasn't that amused...

There's also a restaurant near'ish us that's called "Phat Phuc"- apparently it means "Happy Buddha". :D

Oh oh, I have another one.

I did a masters degree a few years ago and there was a japanese girl on the course. A few weeks into the course we all went out for dinner to get to know everyone better. Right after we sat down we cheers'd and someone said 'ching ching' which everyone then repeated.

The Japanese girl literally wet herself laughing for about half an hour. Turns out 'ching ching' means 'willy' in japanese - she said, imagine being in Japan in a restaurant where everyone collectively started shouting 'willy' (enthusiastically, too!). :D

I have just got balidiots posts translated and I think it's time to go hide in the corner somewhere:oops:

...I also found out what Nifty means. That can't be serious:eek:

Suddenly I felt the need to quote myself. What in the world am I saying here?:eek2:

I didn't talk about Nifty's opinions, or what he said in his last post.
I was talking about the word Nifty :D
I have never bothered to look it up before so sorry Nifty if I sounded nifty:)

For some reason I have always avoided signing up any casino with "Lucky" in the name. Sure there are a couple of decent ones: Lucky Nugget, Lucky Red, but it sounds a bit cowboy to me and puts me off. Wasn't helped by a rep from a clipjoint called "Lucky Aces" or something rudely interrupting a conversation I was having at a conference in Barcelona to thrust a card into our hands and say how good the casino was. Which had totally the opposite effect.

Phat Phuc. Class.

Remember a few years ago there was this hair remover/wax stuff that was all over the TV, invented by some woman in Australia and it was called 'Nads' - most guys would just howl watching those commercials when the testimonial woman would say something like, "I put Nads on my upper lip..."

on a cuter note, I went to high school with a girl whose last name was Ball - and yes, she had an uncle named Harry - but her brother married a girl named Rose Marie Cotton - married name Rose Marie Cotton-Ball. :)

In junior high once in awhile I'd see Candy Hunt and Bunny Hunt written on the gym teacher's board. I always thought he was planning some pretty lame gym games.
Turns out it was a pair of sisters and their names were on the detention list.

Also, in my neighborhood there was a butcher shop called "John Holmes Meat". Honest.

By the way...Nifty, why do you hate my dog? You don't even know him.
No offence Nifty-but to be fair-you hate everyone and their dog.
