I was playing at Spin palace and i got 4 BJ in a row at Vegas strip BJ (4 decks). Can someone tell me the probability for such outcome?
Easier than a straight flush?

Clearly the casino is rigged.

Oh wait - you mean the PLAYER got 4 BJ's in a row. Well, then, no doubt about it, it's a fair casino.

Probability of 1 BJ= 0.047566 so 4 in a row would be 0.047566^4=0.00000511901646 or 1 in 195,350.

So about 22 times less likley than than a straight flush in JOB which would be the equivalent of about 3 BJ's in a row. (1 in 9,292 for 3 BJ's vs 1 in 9,019 for a Straight Flush.) In fact, alot more rare than a Royal Flush. (1 in about 38,000)

Hope you were betting big :)

Omg! Clayman. I never though that it's so rare.I was under the impression that the royal flush is 1 in about 700,000. :eek2:
I was betting $200 on every hand but.........it was fun mode

OK - I see what you mean. I was doing the chances of ending up with those hands in a JOB VP game. But, using a 52 card deck, there are 2,598,960 possible 5-card combinations. 4 of these will be a Royal Flush and 36 of these will be a Straight Flush. So the chances are 1 in 649,740 and 1 in 72,193 respectively of being dealt these hands.

You're killing me. Casinos are always fair in fun mode :)

I had 4 BJ's in a row once, otherwise it was one of my worst sessions, I was completely wiped out.

I got 4 BJ in a row once with good as gold. I was totally shocked. After that I was too scared to go back.
Since then I only saw 3 BJ twice and that's it.

4 BJ in a row isn't so rare is it? I seem to see that a lot of the time.
The probability of 4 BJ in a row is about 1/200000, so it is pretty rare. I can't imagine that you see it very often. If you play 8 hours a day at 800 hands/hour (which is roughly the speed of autoplay on the fastest setting), you would expect to get 4 BJ in a row about once a month.

Don't feel bad. I had a hole-in-one once and still shot a 94.

Never 4 BJ's in a row. Woe is me.

What seems good, often ain't.

Did you have trouble getting by the windmill too? That hole is a b*tch!

The odds of a hole-in-one seem to be around 1 in 10000, so it is more like getting 3 BJ's in a row. The probability of a hole-in-one involves also depends on your skills, of course.

I recently played at 3 different Play Tech casinos, two within hours and one the next morning. I got 3 BJ's in a row at each of them once each. That is the nature of Play Tech, they cheat both ways. Sure it is fun to get 3 BJ's in a row, which it is how they have written the software, to keep it fun for the player. But it is nearly tough to win a double or a split on a Play Tech casino and nearly impossible to win a double or split on a $25+ bet. Beyond that, has anyone ever one more than 5 hands in a row at a Play Tech casino? The dealer will go on 10+ streaks all day but the player never. And those doubles that you get a 20 on almost always means the dealer will get 21 with 3 cards. I have played billions of hands at all the major softwares so and I do not have a problem with any of the others, maybe a bit with OddsOn. But it is official, Play Tech is rigged and they do not do a good job of hiding it.

I had five consecutive pontoons a few days back. The last one pushed and lost, but even so: almost 4,000,000 to 1. Only a little short of the probability of a pat royal.

Check that, one zero out. Equal to the probability of almost seven pat royals. LOL.
