3Dice Wagering Requirements On Tourny Wins...

IMO, wagering requirements on on tourney wins doesn't
sit too well with me.

Bottom line is, it's super hard to win much at 3Dice off of $10.00,
let alone 10X WR = $100, if you did make it into $50 and wanted to
withdraw.

A win is a win. It should have no strings attached to it. It's like winning
a gold medal at the Olympics with a 10 pound weight hanging from it
that cannot be removed until you wear it around your neck
and run 10 more laps around the track... (weak metaphor):o.

Bonuses are okay to have WR, but not tourney wins.

Other than that, keep up the great work 3Dice, probably the most
interesting online casino to date.

I learned my lesson at 3dice. Lesson is........no matter how quick the payouts and how wonderful customer service is, if the slots are some of the worst paying percentage wise on the net, play elsewhere.

Cashed out $590 the FIRST deposit and I would say 15 deposits later, nothing. Nada, zip, zero, zilch. And I am one to cash out a couple hundred bucks too so its not like there was an oppurtunity to do so. If they loosened up over there a little, I would probably stick with a bit longer but my god:eek2:

I disagree, free tourney wins are just that FREE MONEY.
I don't know of any casino that hands out hundreds a day in free money, there's always gonna be some WR attached and rightly so. Yes its hard to turn $10 into anything, but its not impossible. I myself turned it into $100 and cashed out, in hindsight I should have kept going as I was on a winning streak :)

If there wasn't WR attached I doubt 3dice would be able to offer so many tournaments.

Thanks for the life lesson BlackLabrador, but what you said has nothing to
do with tourneys and the wager requirements for winners. I have been frustrated there too but... "ya win some, ya lose some".

Find me a better WR at any other casino on the net on a $10 No Deposit bonus and you may have a point, however I've been around the block a few times and 10X is nothing

Thanks darkpixie.

Find me a better WR at any other casino on the net
on a $10 No Deposit bonus and you may have a point.

We're not discussing "no deposit bonuses".
I sincerely believe that ND bonuses shouldn't be on the
same level as tourney wins.

We'll agree to disagree then.
As a depositing player, a tourney win should be
$10 or whatever the prize is with no WR.

As a free tourney "abuser" (for lack of better term, meaning someone
who never deposits and plays tourneys only) should have a WR if he/she
wins.

I understand that as a depositing player you feel you shouldn't have to wager, however the majority of tournaments are VIP anyways and not available to players who do not deposit. So that is an advantage right there. If you are worried about making playthrough, save up your tourney wins until you have a more reasonable bank roll. Might be a way to hedge yer bets and make that playthrough!

Only the free tournaments have a WR, all of the buy-ins have no WR attached. Often players are generous and sponsor tournaments, none of those have WR either.

While I don't often meet the WR, I have, and some players have cashed out very large amounts.

Part of the thrill at 3Dice is the high variance, but hitting those big wins off of small bets. If you get a $50 hit, you probably can make the WR and still have some money left.

Also, don't forget that all games are allowed, they just contribute differently to the WR. So if you want to go play VP you may, and then switch to slots to complete your wagering.

10x is a very modest wagering requirement, and I love having all the free tournaments to play. There is also no max cashouts on any of them.

I would definitely agree with you. I did fail to realize that you are not
bonded to only playing slots like RTG. Also, the fact that there is no
max withdraw is a plus.

On a side note, I play the VIP tourneys and not really the $20 peak no gamble
tourneys. Isn't the VIP $10 one winner tourneys for depositing players only?

That is where the line should be drawn. $10.00 prize to VIP tourney players, no WR.

ok i gotta say this 85% of the time i play at dice at some time in the session
im up over my seed money by 1,2,or3 x im mostly a 25.00 depositor so at 75.00 im up net 200% weather i cash it or not means nothing

were you gonna play that pays out better

i got all the screen shots in my profile to prove it ill leave it open for all to look if its possible i dont want to overload CM with my SS

so whats it gonna be a honest casino or a promise in the wind

respectfully rockycatt

Ok, look at it this way. 3Dice offers probably 20-30 VIP tourneys a day.
So let use $250 in tourney wins a day.
So if they pay out $250 a day with no wagering requirements, they find themselves potentially losing $91,250 per 365 day year.
Where will that money come from?

You have a good point.

I guess that's all contingent on the number of depositors and players that
3Dice currently has.

If the only real depositors is those that are active on the chat rooms, than
100K a year in free money would not be tangible.

So, how many current players and depositors does 3Dice have? I don't think
we will ever know in the near future.

On a side note, $250 a day? Okay. I would take 10 free tourneys a day, every hour or so
for VIP depositors only, with tourney wins at no WR.
That's a $37,000 a year hit for 3Dice. Also, keep in mind the amount of winners who would probably lose the winnings back...

And the no WR wins are geared towards DEPOSITING players only.

I am a depositing player , Very large depositor so large that, i pay for the upkeep of the tourney server, and I pay the employees that monitor the chat, put on the tourneys, and put the wins in your account all through my deposits, you get the picture you are all very welcome.
I rarely play the tourney because $10 just doesnt cut it for me. But if i was I certainly wouldnt be complaining about WR, especially at the low WR they put on it. ITS FREE MONEY.
Sorry to say this but honestly I wish they would eliminate or slow dow on the # of tourney, because I believe it takes away from people playing for real. I play at Medium to Large stakes and have a tough time winning. And when you lose as much as I do I always wonder how i could ever win big when there are so may small bets going on. Now I have hit big once but it still does not get me close to what I have lost.
So in conclusion 3dice is a force in the business. They are friendly and pay quick. Their platform is unique. I would hope they would continue to grow rapidly so there is more money to go around. So please support 3dice, get off the free tourneys, stop going there to make friends in chat, and please please please deposit so I can get a nice hit.

Thats great you win all the time. I wish I could say the same. I am the opposite 85% of the time I cant get it above my starting balance. I wish i could get my balance above 2x or 3x starting point 85% of the time. I would be rich. I would definetely keep playing there too. Actually I still play there, just wish it would turn for me.

Maybe it's because some people don't have your bankroll and play small bets to fit their depositing needs.

But then you would take away the whole meaning of 3dice...making friends/chatting/etc...

If you want to hit and aren't hitting at 3Dice, then change casinos. Like I said earlier, the reason so many people like 3Dice is because of the chat. Personally, I never really chatted when I was there, and didn't care for people getting to play tourneys and winning money while I was depositing either...I wasn't a huge depositer, but I'm sure I deposited more than many in chat.

I do not play there anymore, closed account, but I think if you aren't joking (I'm not sure) then 3Dice probably isn't the casino for you.

Well duh of course small bets are because of someones bankroll. I never criticized betting small. The more the merrier.
Its a casino, the true meaning of 3dice isnt chatting and making friends, its an added feature, an addition, something different than other casinos. If the true meaning was chat it would be called 3CHAT with a casino addition inside.
Thanks for the advice of changing casinos, what are you my mom? Now if I do find out the true meaning of 3dice is chat and not casino I will take your advice of closing my account under heavy consideration.

What the hell are you talking about? I said I closed MY ACCOUNT...I never gave you advice to close yours???

I said maybe 3Dice isn't the casino for you.

The chat is their "catch" make friends with people, have support team laugh and joke around with you, it makes people feel like a community, make them feel good that they are chatting with the support team, no other casino does this that I am aware of...I'm surprised you don't see that.

Sorry you are correct you did say change casino not close account. I fixed it . Now you did say the "whole meaning" of 3dice is chat. You are right, it is their catch and not the whole meaning. But I am sure plenty of people think chat is the whole meaning and yes indeed thats what brings some of the people to them. It is a neat feature just something I am not too interested in.

I totally agree with you about chat BMWSTACK, I think I went and chatted maybe 10-20 times in 2-3 years.

Anyhow...I don't play there anymore, I just wanted to reply to you post I replied to.

LOL, I'm not into chatting with others on there either...

I mean, if the people chatting on 3Dice were actually playing and losing, then I don't think that they would be really up to chat with other people.

I have a punching bag ready next to my computer when I deposit at 3Dice so that I don't have to punch my monitor screen.:p
Sometimes, Moolah can be VERY frustrating.

Interesting to hear this since I thought I was the only one that felt this way....It is nice to know I am not alone in these thoughts...I can say this...if 3Dice isn't careful with the offering of all these free tournies and all this fun in live chat...they might just lose a few good players..I , myself really don't care to chat either, and play very few free tournies, feeling it is a waste of time..(JMO with no offense meant to anyone that actually enjoys that kind of stuff)...

I would rather scrub my kitchen or bathrooms or something more productive than sit for hours hoping to win $10 bucks...my time is worth a LOT more than $10 bucks for many hours of just sitting there with NO guarantee either that I would even get that..so I choose to play in fun mode for a few minutes at a time to break the monotony...it is a lot more entertaining IMO....no time frame...you can bet what you want, no restrictions..etc etc..playing free tournies makes one feel "trapped" IMO (thats how I felt when I played the few I did)...

As I said, not my cup of tea..but back to the realization that players that have deposited heavily are slowly moving away from places such as this due to the fact that the monies is being diverted to support other areas IMO and making it tougher for a player to win anything anymore..catering to low or no depositors will be their crippler....because when many high to medium players leave there will be no one else to support this side show..

Just my opinion...I have dropped depositing there to just a few times a month when I used to deposit quite a bit...I enjoy their games but favoring free tournies over real playing is not a very profitable thing IMO either..
Just my 2 cents...

No offense meant to anyone...and I do enjoy playing at 3Dice...both in fun and real mode..
...

Super interesting.

Your right, I do deposit on a larger scale ($40-$200) at 3Dice and don't really make 2x or more on my deposit. I also play $1.00-$2.00 a hit on most slots. If you and BMWSTACK are saying that the small returns is due to free tourneys and giveaways, than I want the tourneys to minimize as well so that 3Dice can give looser slot play, especially :pPenta Pay:p

All I'm saying is that when I blow my deposit to zero and go for the
free VIP depositors tourneys, I would like a no WR prize if I win. But the hell with the tourneys if they lag the wins of real depositors.

no i am not saying the free tourneys are reason for payout, i was saying get the people away from the free tourneys so they can deposit more. Im just trying to drum up business. My attitude is more money in more to go around.

I am young, maybe she could be my mommy. That almost sounds hot!

Ewwww! Are you a perve? :p

In all seriousness, I truly believe that 3Dice has figured out how to balance free tourneys, paid tourneys, regular players and high rollers. I doubt they would have been able to keep going on if they didn't have a sound business plan.

Not everyone's cup of tea, I am sure.

Very good point to ponder..and an interesting observation...I would not have thought to break it down this way but it seems like a valid argument IMO...So this amount must be fed back in somewhere, yes?? Where would this come from if not for the regular depositors ? just curious..because you know there are some that actually do win a little from their tourney wins, and there again, they would be in the red if a player actually cashed out from their tourney prize which was free......

I can see it coming...soon, there will be more free tourney players than actual money depositors..,,because the rate at which they continue the tournies will out number the amount depositing players are willing to lose..Just a few thoughts tossing around...
.

I'm not really a tournament player myself

Its not my cup of tea, but I appreciate to others it is. Every now and then I do play one just for the fun of it, I get bored quickly, so often don't finish them.

My thoughts yes, I think there should be wagering requirements, its free money, in fact every other place I can think of where you get free money there is normally a max cash out on it as well.

Sorry a bit off topic here, though still in tune with the tournys

BMW :notworthy I bow to you, how on earth did 3dice exist before you came along to pay for everything I guess in the 9 months or so since you joined 3dice, all the things offered have been down to you, awesome!

I have no idea what you deposit, nor do I want to know, I know what I deposit, and its not peanuts either, though never would I be pretentious enough to say something like that.

I guess in your mind you are the biggest depositor at 3dice, and thats fine, but it takes each and every deposit to move those wheels so to speak. Maybe it was one of those small bets that pushed the slot that bit further for you to win?

I am indeed a real player, at least I was the last time I looked, and I actually don't mind having the odd chat as well. Why wouldn't I, isn't it all part of human nature? As far as the ones in chat being predominantly the smaller deposits um "bollocks" I know again for fact that a lot of the ones that are in chat a lot, are playing real a lot, for instance if you look at the slotsmeister for any sort of proof, my player name at 3dice is not the same as here, and
there are others on there that are very much regular chatters that are the same.

So in my mind some of 3dice's biggest depositors are more than likely some of there biggest chatters.
One has nothing to do with the other, so why wouldn't it be the case, gosh they might just even play tournaments too?

How anyone can make the presumption that they deposited more than any other player in that chat room, is beyond me, unless of course you can see all deposits, even the non VIPs may have deposited truckloads in the past, and are having a break?

The true meaning of 3dice is that its unique, so its needs to be taken as it is, and how you want to play, chat, or scratch your butt, anything else there, its up to you.

The whole meaning isn't the chat to some no, but to others it is, again how the individual sees it to mean to them.

You are very funny. Maybe you are the 3dice mascot?

Im not here to compare deposits but you are right, you would be way off making a statement about being a large depositor after comparing stats with me.

This is strange. I am trying to find where I said anything about being a member for 9 months. I am concerned that sensitive account information is being leaked somehow. Please point out where i said anything about being a member for 9 months

You can look up other members from the 3Dice forum, under 3Dice Members link..

It shows if the member if the member is online, last online and when they joined...

Thought you could set it to private? Guess not. I wouldnt choose to have my information public.

OOPS!!!!! Now that we know where you live, fix up the guest room, would ya? :p And nine months? That's how long it takes to grow a baby! Someone must have gotten confused there. Or congratulations are in order. ;)

And Sparkles, I do not think he meant to sound pretentious, but then again, I don't think you mean to be sarcastic, right? :D

I certainly hope participating in chat doesn't require one to scratch one's butt!!!

I really enjoy the chat feature at 3Dice. Unless I'm playing solitaire or VP in real, I'm usually in chat. If one of my favourite games is in tournament mode, I might stop real play to try for a bit. If my luck's been poor, or I'm between deposits, I play a lot more tourneys.

If my luck is good, I often sponsor one. A lot of players do this, and I thank all of them.

I don't usually place in the Slotmeister, I prefer somewhat larger bets than minimum most times. But I have that choice to play that way if I want to. I do know that at least one or two "winners" bought their way to the top, but your chances of a big cashout are very low at 10cents.

I know that for the 32Red which is run similarly, one of the regular high finishers has said that his bets are usually a mix of around $3 a spin and $.01.

All the low rollers add up. Go to any B&M and see how many penny slots there are vs five dollar machines.

I'm a regular player and depositor at Bet365. They have tournaments a couple of times a month for highest play, and I've seen others at MG casinos.

Looks like the thread may have got off track from the title. Ill take responsibility for getting it off track and try to get it back to what the title describes. The original title was "wagering requirements" and the complaint was having a 10x wagering requirement on tourney wins was unfair.

Knowing the online casino industry quite well (just like the rest of us) 10x or whatever the low wr is is quite fair on free money. Go look at any other platform out there and youve got #'s a lot higher. I am normally not a free chip taker but i do see where the wr on free money is 60x & sometimes 70x plus there is a max cahout. 3dice doesnt have a max cashout. Essentially the $$ won on a tourney that 3dice sponsors is basically a free chip you try to win.

So in conclusion compare the #'s below and say to yourself what is better on Free Money:

10x WR no max cashout 3dice
60x WR 2x max cashout XYZ Casino
